? Of course there's a gyroscope in this phone. Are there any smartphones out there made over the last 5 years without one?
features like youtube rotating and turning full screen when holding the phone in landscape mode or steering your car in asphalt 8 by tilting the phone obviously work (I got my honor 7x last week directly imported from China)

That's the accelerometer mate. The phone doesn't have a gyro.

To put this question to rest. Yes. This phone has a gyroscope.
I am attaching a couple of screenshots I took below from sensor test on Honor 7X. First showing all sensors present, then one of the gyroscope reading.
Edit: Wanted to clarify that I have the U.S. variant and it appears that the gyroscope is present. Tested a 360° youtube video and confirmed that it works.

Indian version does not come with a Gyroscope sensor. Just confirmed with the same app you are using
How about EU model?!

I watched a video on YouTube that says there should be an update which enables gyroscope. Might check for updates on your device

I do not know I am in the U.S. and have the U.S. variant so I only know the details of the model here. You might see if there is an update available. A YouTuber said he got an update which enabled gyroscope. He also went along and tested it himself; it worked. So, you might want to check for an update if you have not already.

eu model is 4gb with 64gb and there is gyroscope
It seems to me that Huawei/Honor put in the hardware, but didn't activate it until the software update.

According to this article (https://www.gsmarena.com/check_out_tfirst_samsung_galaxy_s9_benchmarks-news-29813.php), the 9810 can shoot [email protected] but purposely disabled to maintain parity with SD845.
Can any devs comment on whether it is possible to unlock this feature for Exynos chipsets?

Believe me when I say I will definatly try to unlock that option if the phone is capable of root and I can decrypt the camera app.... I've done it for the note 3-7 but gave up after getting busy... I'd also turn off the 5 minute rule

Because sir Moto Z2 force has same imx 386 sensor same as mi mix 2 but it can do all above said. Xiaomi locked mi mix 2 only @30fps at any video. And slow Mo @120fps. Please help sir

Ohhhh that's a problem. Bye the way thank you. It means my mix 2 will remain pathetic in video department.
Buffers for 1080p/480 are most probably hardlocked somewhere in the kernel or samsung camera API or in the rom itself, the best answer we may have here is from @zeroprobe .
Today, i've received my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. And noticed that the Youtube App doesnt play videos quality higher than 1080p, but previously i'd a Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and it was possible to choose 4K Videos.
How does the Youtube App calculate their limitness? I mean Mi Mix 2 has a bigger screen and more powerful CPU than the Mi Note 3.

How has it got no value? Phone has a 1080p screen, not a 4k screen so selecting a 4k video won't show it in 4k, it will show it in 1080p. Not rocket science.

And the answer is right in front of you if u googled your question. Depends on upload quality, internet speed, aspect ratio etc.
I just sold my Exynos Ultra. The reason was the camera which for anything that moves even a little was just not very good. ZGCAM based on GCAM version 6 worked ok ish if a little slow but of course no v7 on Exynos yet.
I have had half an eye on a snapdragon one but looking on the interweb there does not seem to be a lot of traffic relating to a GCAM. I know that the 865 is a newer chip than the Pixel which may play a part.
So is there a good GCAM on the Snapdragon? Either plus or Ultra.
