Hello!
I'm a big fan of wired headphones. Nevertheless, I have decided to explore what the 21st century has to offer finally and bought myself a new pair of shiny Bluetooth headset from EarFun, which is a producer of my new Bluetooth speaker Go.
Free or TW100, the new product from EarFun, is a decent alternative to the more powerful (and of course pricey) product from Apple. While the Cupertino's pride sells its product for a whopping $160 (it's Apple, duh!), EarFun is a more pocket-friendly, as their headset costs just $50.
Without further ado, you can see the photos in the attachments.
And here are the functions:
Free uses almost the newest Bluetooth 5.0 to communicate with your smart device. The quality of the connection is satisfying. I have experienced some hiccup during my walk to work, but skips were very rare and short. According to the producer, the headphones work up to 15 meters from the source of the sound. This is a great result. I haven't tested it, because my flat is too small If I had to be picky, I would say that these headphones might have been a little louder, but the good sound isolation makes the music really easy to listen without a hearing loss.
The headset comes with a fancy case, which is also a charger. According to EarFun, one charge can give you up to 6 hours of constant usage and extra 24 hours stored in the case's battery. Headphones charge relatively quickly, and the case can be recharged with a USB-C cable or a Qi pad (I don't have one to test it). The device is also waterproof.
In overall, EarFun TW100 is a decent device and I can easily recommend it. 8,5/10. You can get it on Amazon.
They look like the Creative Outlier Air.

Hi all,
After a year of trying out different portable speakers - I tried the beats pill, Braven 625 (very good for ultimate portability....) and many others. I finally bought a Bose Soundlink Mini today. It is amazing! I cannot believe the sound from this little thing. While it does not have some of the extras others offer (Braven seems best in terms of will charge your phone, and can be used as speakerphone), it has the best sound I have heard from something so small.
This will not appeal to audiophiles or pimply teenagers who think they are audiophiles, but as a mini speaker that fills a big room with good clear sound it is great. Now my life is complete with my note 2, note 10.1 2014, anker wireless keyboard and this speaker. With this sort of technology now I can see myself going off grid with my camper van in the future, living with a solar cell and a kelly kettle for hot food
Just thought I would share this, there is not much I offer to the forum in terms of rooting or roms etc, I do intend to in the future as I am a google certified teacher and starting to use my note 10.1 as my main tool in the classroom to control my whiteboard......but at the moment if anyone else out there was like me and couldnt justify spending £150 on a tiny speaker then go for this one, its brilliant.
I have the same speakers, and they are great ...... for Bluetooth speakers. The sound is as good as I have heard from portable BT speakers. Can't beat them for the size.
I also have a Soundlink Mini.
Best bluetooth speaker in its class, hands down.
Sloty
Iv had a look at the speakers your talking about and they have an awesome sound but a price tag to match. I recently picked up a blue tooth / cord speaker from Aldi supermarket chain. It does all the things you've pointed out for $20 (sale price) and the sound is big and impressive with clear lows unlike what iv seen in other portable speakers. I snuck back and got a second.
I just picked up a JBL Flip 2 whilst in the states. Listened to the Bose and the JBL and you would be hard pushed to tell the difference. Also with the new Flip 2 they have done away with the need to have a plug in power adaptor which for me takes away the whole portable aspect of a portable speaker as you can now charge it through USB. Biggest bonus is it only cost me $95 which is half the price of the Bose.
Althought flip 2 is a good speaker, none can even dare to compare to the Bose! I wish i had it, i bought the UE Mini Boom, has the same features as the flip 2 almost the same price range, not the same sound quality, but good enough and pairs up to 8 bluetooth devices (2 simultaneous), 10 hour battery life (real), much smaller (fits on my beach toal pocket).
Well in all fairness thats opinion. I have spent many years using B + W speakers with other hi end hifi equipment so I am used to high quality audio and in my opinion the gulf is not that big. Certainly not double the price wise. What swung it for me is using them as a portable speaker. What good is a portable speaker that when it runs out you have to find a power socket to charge it. They realised this with the first JBL flip and with the Flip 2 replaced the need for a power adaptor with a simple usb charging port. So with my portable battery I can have music playing all day well away from a power source. But as I said its completely each individuals opinion which I fully respect.
Now, before anyone says that a Bluetooth speakers don't belong on this forum, I have been using mine with my One Plus using the AudioFx app, and it has been really impressive..
So, recently I purchased a little Bluetooth speaker for general portability. I purchased a Ks Bluno speaker from amazon for around £20 at Christmas, and I am still using it now. I have found the battery life to be incredible, this speaker will last for around a week of reasonably constant use, and provides excellent sound quality doubled up with the AudioFx app. The Is Bluno comes with a little energy saving LED that flashes different colors to indicate when it is paired with a device, or when the charge is low. This speaker also comes with a small charger with a 3.5mm audio jack integrated so that you can use it in close proximity when it is very low on charge. Also, the range is pretty decent, I can use it from about 20m away before it starts distorting the sound, but for how I use it, I don't really need to be any further range..
Overview:
Overall, I think that for the money, this speaker is very respectable for every day use, and for the money, is very impressive. If any of you guys currently own one, or have had one in the past, I'd be really interested to know how you found it, and how it stacks up to other devices of a similar price range.

I also think that bluetooth speakers are good! I use a bluetooth speaker with my OnePlus One as well (just some cheap £10 thing from lidl) and it is decent. Not the best but not terrible but hey! It works! The range is decent and it is a very convenient thing for me to carry around in my bag on vacations. However as well as having a bluetooth speaker i also carry around my headphones anyway but its still nice to have this little speaker.
Wireless is the future. And its true that wireless headphones are making it main stream. But it is a drastic step that Apple took with its all new AirPods? These are definitely not the first wireless earbuds in the market, but Apple made it look worse by removing the traditional headphone socket. Is it worth the change, lets find out!
Before we get onto the review! Lets talk about the science behind it! Apple is planning to revolutionize the wireless technology with its W1 chip!... Like the A-series chips that powers your iPhone or the iPads, the w1 custom apple designed silicon holds a standard Bluetooth 4.1 streaming technology, that tends to have a sophisticated syncing between the two earpiece, the dock and the audio source. Its effeciency is no questionable. And the best part is that the AirPods can pair with any android device. But you wouldn't be able to use the infrared functionality.
Talking about the design, that's where apple went wrong. One of the biggest critics that the device was encountered with, was that how easy is to loose any one of the pair. This issue was faced with most of the airpods users. I wasn't able to get them stay in my ears for a long period of time. This isn't something new, I had the same issue with its predecessors too. The problem is that, Apple just forgot that not all the ears are of same size. The only difference I found in the design aspect between your traditional wired earphones and the new airpods is that the traditional ones are a bit more round, whereas the airpods have been polished down a bit. Which leads to a very small amount of comfort difference.
And trying not to be harsh, but it really looks like a toothbrush in your ears. Apple tends to justify this design with the technology aspect, it seems that the lengthy end for recieving the audio is for better quality. But rather i would prefer a decent reciever and a earbud not being that long. I truly believe a good wireless earbud should be well known for its grip to stay in the ears and definitely shouldnt look ugly.
That being said, ignoring the design part. There is a lot that I like about the airpods. Being the first fact...is that the airpods do sound great. And there is a significant difference between the normal Ear-pods and the AirPods. The bass is noticeable and the streaming is quite perfection. Such that audio distortion doesn't happen even at the highest volume. And secondly you also get full access to all of the cool sensors and features on iOS. For instance, when listening to music, on taking one earbud out will pause and when you place it back it will resume. You can also double tap the outside of the earbud in order to access Siri.
Round the device you can see few dots. Among them The most innovative aspect of the device is that, while playing music.. popping one airpod out of the ear will pause. And you can either resume or restart using the music app.
This is a tremendous mark by Apple. by making its first step towards a truly wireless future. Connecting to an iOS device is as simple as tapping a card that pops up on your device. And the best part is that when you connect to one device it also connects to every other device on your iCloud account. The one hectic thing about using siri, is that most headphones let you change volume or songs with gestures and buttons. With the AirPods, you have to either dig your phone out or double-tap on the bud, wait for Siri then, say “Next song,” and again wait for Siri to confirm.
Which is definitely not the easiest way to skip to another track. The solution could be a simple software update. That can fix this issue.
While audio quality isn’t one of the AirPods' best attributes, but the battery life certainly is. Apple claims five hours worth of life per charge, though it tends to drop out a bit on heavy usage. Five hours might not seem that impressive, but you also have to take the charging dock into account, that can fully charge the airpods about five times. Which gives a further of 24 hours Life span.
Lets be honest, nobody is gonna get the airpod hoping for some good sound quality. If that's the case. You can opt for a wired ear-pod. Which definetly will sound the same. Considering the small form factor of the earphones, the amount of tech inside is incredible. When looking at other wireless earphones on the market, it's clear to see that Apple has succeeded where others have failed and that's resistance over connectivity. I never had my airpods get disconnected. This definitely a clever piece of tech with some considerably bad design. If you are up for some amazing sound quality, then this is not what you are looking for, because there is still room for lots of improvement.
Either way thanks for reading.
Yours truly,
Droid Sector.
Ours Truly,

Hi folks!
I have never actually heard of Tribit. The company is not as well known as let's say Sony. Nevertheless, encouraged by a quality of its headset, I decided to get another device from this company.
My current experience with Bluetooth speakers was not the greatest. I had a cheap speaker that was quiet and distorted the sound significantly. My goal was buying something cheap and relatively good, so I turned my eyes into Tribit XSound Go speaker, which costs less than $40.
Regarding sound quality, Go is an excellent choice. The sound quality is crystal clear, it has nice bass and is really loud. I tried the speaker both inside and outside the house, and the result was satisfying. The Bluetooth signal was strong enough to sustain a connection in a 15 meters range outside and ~10 meters inside the house. I wasn't expecting anything more from a speaker in this price range.
According to Tribit, the XSound Go speaker can play the music constantly for up to 24 hours. I must admit that I wasn't using the speaker for such a long period. In my case, the speaker had no problems to get me through the day of usage (~8 hours). According to other reviews that I could find online, the speaker lasts for about 11 hours, which might be true. It's a decent result for a device that is so small. As a cherry on top, we can take the fact that the speaker is IPX7 rated. This means that you can listen to music underwater for half an hour
The last thing I would like to mention is a design. Unlike the other speakers I owned, the XSound Go doesn't look like a plastic toy. It has a decent design with five function buttons on top. Additionally, on the back of the device, you will find a micro USB port for charging and AUX port if you would like to connect a device via a cable. The device comes with a USB cable for charging.
I'm giving it 4.5/5, as the only downside is a long charging time. If you are looking for a cheap and quality speaker, you should consider giving it a try! More on Amazon.
Do these earphones exist? Every headset I've seen with apt-x HD has only 2 or 3 hrs battery life.
i.Tech ProStereo H2 (10 hours).
Sony WI-H700 (8 hours).
Audio Technica ATH-DSR5BT (8 hours).
Yeah, they're not cheap.

What's this rubbish lol?
This doesnt have apt-x. Also what brand is this?
These claim 6-8 hours run time. Can't say I've ever tried to use mine for that long but I've been pretty happy with em. The same company makes pretty similar ones with a larger battery also, if you don't mind having a neck band they even have a set that claims to run for 16 hours. Charges with micro USB, but no way to change the battery when it kicks the bucket is the only downside.

I use the LG tone pro whatever hbs-820 for work. when I'm not making long phone calls to co workers to pass the time I'm always streaming music on them. The site says they're Qualcomm aptx comparible and they sound clear and accurate. New, I'd get two days of use out of them, year later if everyday use, probably a day, I'll solder a new battery in when I'm bored.
If you do get anything over the neck one like those, I recommend it have retractable earbuds, the magnetic ones fall off easily and flap around, it's the worst.
My 2 cents also, if it's quality audio you want, if it has a battery on it, it's gonna be pricy. If they're earphones yeah, you'll get the low frequency but will it as bold as you want it to be? I've heard homemade headphones that sound better than over priced "audiophile" branded ones (some Asian hobbyist make headphones, idk how, i found it online). But lastly aptx/aptxhd is just a high quality signal, you can put trash speakers to any high end tube amp (or whatever the kids rave about these days) but they'll still sound like trash.
I use these, they are fantastic and cheap. I really don't know what I'm missing out on when I see those $120+ kind... these are aptX supporting...
