Hey can somebody help out EIS is not working on my stock Android pie it's showing ES0 but no stabilization
hello, my 5z default slot is B, I flashed twrp on slot A yesterday and boot loop after flash, boot failure several times
it auto jump to slot B again and I can boot into android finally but no twrp on slot B, so if I want to replace slot A, do I need set active_B and flash twrp, and then flash LineageOS due to "Do Remember that if current slot while flashing is Slot A then Lineage will be flashed Automatically to Slot B", the step is it correct??
thanks
Default Phone App goes to speaker mode and does not switch to handset ear piece
@ Rohan,
Thanks for the build. I loaded lineageOS 17 build into my Asus Zenfone 5Z into slot A, however, after initial booting when I tried to restart the phone, the OS crashed, after three retries, it pushed me to factory reset and asked me to reconfigure it which I did. I had to do this exercise almost three times. Now the device is booting normally. I have one issue with the default phone / calling app. For both the outgoing / incoming calls, the phone goes into speaker mode and does not let me receive calls on handset. Only option it allows is connecting headphones. Can you help fix this? Is there an individual APK that I can install for this app alone to fix it may be????
Many Thanks.

That is normal since you switched slots, flashed twrp.img and rebooted that same slot. It will bootloop because twrp replaced boot.img on that slot. You would have to set active the previous slot again, which is the one that boots. It happened to me too once where it switched slots by itself and booted fine.
Set active the slot that boots and then flash twrp to opposite slot. Boot into twrp and flash rom to the slot that boots android. Then flash twrp zip so twrp installs to both slots and you can rom and twrp on same slot. Just remember to set active the correct slot again or you could just keep boot looping.

lineage-os 9 rebooting into twrp recovery
ok, i might be the only one in this situation: i was running pie pr1 by @SagarMakhar. i installed the latest twrp v3.2.3-0 by @SagarMakhar, rebooted into recovery and made a full backup.
then, having read about flashing vendor.img, proceeded to wipe cache, dalvik-cache, data, system and vendor partitions. flashed the rom zip and vendor.img from pr1, wiped cache & dalvik-cache and rebooted. but, the device kept rebooting into twrp recovery immediately after reaching the home/lockscreen.
so, i wiped cache, dalvik-cache, data, system and vendor partitions and this time flashed only the rom zip and rebooted, but the device stayed at the bootanimation stage. although i badly wanted to run lineage-os 9 on x00td, i had to restore my nandroid backup (which went fine on the twrp v3.2.3-0 by @SagarMakhar) to make the device usable.
hope i get tips here to resolve the above issues and run lineage-os 9 on x00td. thanks in advance to SagarMakhar and others.

I too faced the same issue with TWRP. The workaround that worked for me is that when you have flashed the zips after wipe, dont reboot using the menu given in TWRP. Just press the power button until it reboots.
UPDATE 20180817
Changelogs :
- fixed Music Player crash
- Fixed case where device reboots to recovery after flashing custom zips ( disabled rescue party )

Great Job thanks my friend
Great job I have been using it for 2 days and it is perfect I love this rom
Thank you for the ROM, I am testing the ROM on SM-J730F and found one problem for now
First, thank you for the ROM, the problem that I have now is that the phone user interface(UI) is not showing when somebody is calling me, so I can't answer the call.
Does anybody have this problem?
Edit: It seems that now, the UI for answering call is showing now, I will continue to test the ROM.
Awesome ROM and vendor, works really great, chrome is working like a charm !
First Boot (Time)
Is it normal that the first boot takes several minutes? It's been about 10 minutes I've flashed it on my J7 Prime G610M, using Project TreBlue Vendor on my TWRP 3.2.3 and I was running Havoc OS 2.9 (Pie)?
Edit 1: After 15min waiting, stuck on CrDoird logo colorful, I am going to restart (vol down, home + power) to see if it starts and gets the Android setup.
Can somebody tell me how to take a NANDROID backup of this ROM properly?
I created vendor partition and installed this ROM using OrangeFox.
I also took full Backup(partitions selected: Boot, Cache, Recovery, System, System Image, Vendor, Vendor Image, Data, Modem, EFS) using OrangeFox.
I tried restoring the backup(selecting all partitions previously from backup), it did restore( i think phone rebooted while it was restoring the backup), but the ROM is not booting(it is stuck on crDROID logo)
So, how to take a proper backup of a crDROID ROM, or generally, of any treble ROM?
Edit: There is one approach to solve(partially) this problem: First, install crDROID as you would normally do(using the official guide on the first page on this thread), then don't restore the full backup, restore only the Data partition and crDROID will boot successfully.
Still, I wonder why full restore is not working, as the phone is rebooting while it is restoring(could be there a problem with the selected partition System Image and Vendor Image?)
what is main differences between havoc and crdroid?

Havoc OS uses Project Treblue, while crDROID uses H-VENDOR(which is included in the current flashable ZIP of crDROID)
You can install either of them, it will be good.
I personally use crDROID, it is stable for now(everything that I tested is working: Camera, Wifi, Hotspot, SIM, Fingerprints).
My phone is J730F

Well, it seems the problem was in fact in System Image and Vendor Image
When you restore, don't restore System Image and Vendor Image. Only restore Boot, Recovery, Cache, Vendor, System, Data.

Thank you very much! It worked.
I installed MIUI V11.0.5 before. At flashing LineageOS (ADB sideload inside LOS recovery) it said "patching firmware images". Did it overwrite the firmware then?
How should I root this LineageOS ROM? Same way as https://forum.xda-developers.com/re.../how-to-unlock-root-redmi-9-9s-9-pro-t4108913 and extract boot.img from V11.0.5 vendor image?
This doesnt work on Curtana, does it?
@SebaUbuntu : thank you so much!!! Great work!
@heyadmwutanime : take the boot image from the lineageOS zip and then use the Magisk manager app to create a patched version. goto fastboot and flash patched boot image.

Did you install OpenGapps or MicroG to use GCam? I tried sideloading nanodroid zip (including MicroG and patch spoofing) but no recovery (LineageOS recovery or PBRP) is able to do it. Why the heck isn't there a good TWRP recovery yet? :crying:
edit: Sideloading in PBRP isn't possible. Only possible to install zip from internal storage or MicroSD. Bad thing LineageOS boot animation is running forever. :crying: Then how would you even flash OpenGapps?
installed opengapps with the recovery provided. Its the lineage recovery and works.
You can only sideload with this recovery. Make sure you have the latest adb tools.
I had problems with sideloading before, and found out that the adb exec was not the latest version (although the "install" tool was the latest version)
Anx camera is being installed as Magisk module. Or gcam versions were installed as apk and an xml file.
About pbrp, I saw there is a 3.0.0 version available on telegram : joyeuse discussion group.
I have not tried this on yet, still
I also note that some errors (cannot mount system/product/ ...) can be resolved to first unmount those partitions in twrp/pbrp before flashing the file.
If boot anim is running forever, goto recovery and erase cache/data, then reboot.

Additionally infrared doesn't work.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

EvoX is a custom vendor based rom, so you have to wipe system, cache, dalvik, vendor and data.
After that follow the flashing instructions from the above ^

Yes I formatted everything and even formatted vendor and tried everything there is to it. But right now I'm replying from RROS 8.6.3 for rmx1992. I had to--
1. Erase everything as per instructions provided. (Caused bootloop)
2. Then I had to download realme official (.ozip) from realme website and flash through recovery. (Still couldn't flash on latest TWRP)
3. (PANICCCCCCCCCCCC).
4. CAREFULLY read the error and noticed some "treble" thing. (Did a lot of searching on Google)
5. Flashed ORANGE FOX RECOVERY THROUGH TWRP.
6. Then flashed .ozip through Orange fox and *voila* my phone was resurrected to stock rom.
7. Then flashed rros *official 8.6.3*. ( Must say coming from Whyred RROS, it's disappointing**).
** Disappointments-
1. No FLING navigation.
2. Bluetooth range sucks.
3. Proximity sensor doesn't work and my phone heats up so much within 2 minutes it's unbearable.
4. Google Pay doesn't work.
5. EdXposed doesn't work.
But thanks to Devs for this nice rom, BATTERY BACKUP IS AWESOME.... And CUSTOMISATION is top notch....
Any updates on android 11 based Resurrection Remix for Realme X2 ?

Thanks for the rom! it's very fluid
I guess the only problem is the USB C to 3.5mm jack, and gesture navbar
mostly when going into immersive mode from portrait to landscape, vice versa
like from portrait mode, launch a game in immersive landscape, sometimes the navbar stays on the bottom of phone (right side of landscape mode)
or the navbar itself still visible while statusbar is collapsed, but gone when you bring out the status bar. after some spamming by going back to home → launch game, eventually you get the correct combination of navbar + statusbar

Got this feedback now, I need more info for debug.
1. Does your USB-C to 3.5mm convertor have a DAC in it? Like a sound card has a chip in it.

Can someone help me, whenever I try to install Magisk it enters a bootloop. And the only way to exit it is to enter Lineage recovery and reinstall/update the ROM. I tried installing Magisk with TWRP and the vbmeta command but no luck. The build seems very fluid but there is no SafetyNet without Magisk.
Is there any 18.1 build yet I can test?
And I have got a question about oem.
Is it true that I do not need to flash any Xperia binaries (OEMs) when coming from stock cause they are just for SODP roms like Pixel Experience?
And is that for LOS 17 and 18?

You have to install Magisk Beta
Tried with USB C → DAC → 3.5mm works nicely, there's no log related to audio though when I tried to plug the non DAC one
Also cam isn't working but seems incompatibilities of libimageprocessorjni.so
