No battery screen while charging after root when phone is off - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello
Before root, when I turn my phone off and charge it, I used to have a screen showing the battery level. After rooting my device, I now have the blank Android One startup screen.
How can I revert back the normal charging screen ?
Side question : can you lock the bootloader after rooting?

Magisk and/or TWRP breaks the charge-while-off graphics. Possibly the functionality too... You can charge after booting as a workaround.
You cannot lock the bootloader while Magisk is installed.

Ok so that's normal and there is nothing we can do about it. Thank you

Kindle Fire Charging Issue

Hey guys thanks for the wonderful development of this great device love all of you for your great work.
I have had no problems running custom ROMS on my kindle nor have I had any issues with hashs new kernel until now.
I let the battery drop to well 0% and I plug into into the wall out let to charge and turn it on it just turns on gets into OS and into a screen that says android system with nothing on it and the low battery screen pops up saying 0%. Then because I dont get a chance to touch the screen it goes to the lock screen which from there I cannot unlock it unless I hit the hardware button which then allows me to unlock it back to that android system screen and then usually it just turns off. I can boot into twrp but I do not know if it is charging in twrp. The LED light is red when its plugged in which I am pretty sure means its charging so I am confused as to why I cannot seem to get it to charge.
Any ideas?
Oh I also reinstalled ged ROM and the kernel that I had on the SD card and reflashed everything which I was able to do without the system rebooting in twrp but then I reboot and same dam thing happens. Again any help would be greatly appreciated.
Boot into twrp and let it charge for 15 minutes or longer, you'll be fine after. Yes, charging works in twrp I've checked it back when 3.0 first caused charging problems.

If you haven't already you should flash the new bootloader 1.4a. It has a feature where it will determine if you device battery is under 3% and allow it to charge. This would come in handy with your current situation. Charging from TWRP is fine too. Here is the new bootloader with change log http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632375

So I began the root on my One VX and the phone restarted. After the restart I can see the background, no unlock circle or anything else. If I turn the display back off and on the screen will light up but stay black. Any help would be appreciated.

he wont have to do all that, he can simply go to Fastboot if he Dev unlocked and flash twrp recovery wipe and flash JMZ rom, and it will clear and boot properly, System UI, is rom based

[Q] Bootloop after rebooting - unlocked bootloader

Hi everyone, (sorry for my english, I am French)
In June I decided to unlock the bootloader of my HTC One M8 * Edit * and I've rooted the phone and only that because I wanted to remove on screen buttons
Any ideas so?
I succeed, then one day I get an issue with bluetooth so I decided to reboot the phone.
From this moment the phone only reboot every time it restarted!
More or less after 70 seconds after the HTC Logo + music
I tried to factory reset and it worked but if I reboot it it comes again
I have succeed also one time by rebooting the phone with a USB cable I have still not understood why.
Since one month I haven't reboot the phone but today I have use it too much and it turned off because of the battery (0%)
Now it continues to reboot everytime...
Do you have any idea to help me because I have too much important thing on the phone and I can't just reset it every time...
Thank you
What other mods after unlocking the bootloader? I assume you must have done something (root, custom ROM) or why unlock the bootloader?
Yes I have rooted the phone and only that because I dislike completely the on screen buttons so I used an app to remove it from the screen. That was the reason I unlock the bootloader and then rooted the phone sorry I missed to say that
Any ideas so?

[HELP] Inconsistent Screen, Blue Screen, Bootloop

Hi all.
So, my screen has been dodgy a few weeks now. Basically, if it's too dark or a pop-up comes up, it'll fade out, and I need to switch it off and knock back on.
Anyway, when on it today, I got a Blue Screen of Death and since, the screen hasn't given me anything in the way of details in Recovery. I can't see a thing. And I believe the LEDs are telling me it is in a bootloop. So I essentially need a step-by-step guide on how to restore to factory settings WITHOUT using the screen. (Vol - x2, Power, that sort of thing.)
Can anyone help a brother out?
EDIT: I might add, powering on with the battery in into Download or Recovery mode doesn't seem to be working. However, it'll power up without the battery in and just the USB to PC.
EDIT EDIT: Rooted, Stock Lollipop.
I don't have a solution but my phone has literally had a BSOD
I'm rooted and running Fulmics 5.0

Question BOOT LOOP

Hello all this night my cellphone got battery depleted and when i started to charged it it entered boot loop . Agents in OP say i need to wipe all my data but i can t afford to do that. Is there any chance i can extract data from the phone? pls i need help
There is no way to recover your data if you can't boot up your phone. That's the whole idea of security, to protect your privacy and data.
Also, make sure to ALWAYS make backups.
And is your battery now still depleted, it can't charge at all, or your phone is just not booting up completely?

Its just not booting battery is 100 % . My biggest problem is that the recovery is version 1.2 and the only option is to format data and not wipe cache....

And how much time passes before the phone goes "black" after it starts loading on the OP logo?
That sounds like a soft brick, and the only way is to either WIPE your phone as suggested by OP or re-Flash it with MSM tool which also wipes your data.
There is no way to recover your information from this stage.

As I said, if there would be an easy way for such, the phone's security would be useless in that case.
Your storage is encrypted, and without booting the ROM (decrypting your data) you can't access it. Not saying it's impossible in the real world, but not for "us".
Why not try booting twrp to see your files? If he's rooted, it might.. Or flashing boot.img...
Or, if you can not do either, when ur phone is trying to boot( red and white dots) try holding power only button after it has been spinning for 5 seconds or so. U might feel a vibrate and then let go of power button.
thats crazy mine is doing the same thing today, i let the battery deplete and now its bootlooping exactly the same

Because you can't boot TWRP on a locked bootloader, and neither is there a TWRP for A12 ROMs.
Hi Guys, i just have the same issue ...
Let me know if there is anything to do or if any OP service center can help before i click wipe data.
Hi all,
My 1P did this too, I ended up shutting it off by holding the power + volume UP button at the same time for some 10 seconds. After that it rebooted and seems to be working okayish. I still moved all my photos and important data to my harddrive after this just in case. Hope this is helpful at all!
