Hi everyone, (sorry for my english, I am French)
In June I decided to unlock the bootloader of my HTC One M8 * Edit * and I've rooted the phone and only that because I wanted to remove on screen buttons
Any ideas so?
I succeed, then one day I get an issue with bluetooth so I decided to reboot the phone.
From this moment the phone only reboot every time it restarted!
More or less after 70 seconds after the HTC Logo + music
I tried to factory reset and it worked but if I reboot it it comes again
I have succeed also one time by rebooting the phone with a USB cable I have still not understood why.
Since one month I haven't reboot the phone but today I have use it too much and it turned off because of the battery (0%)
Now it continues to reboot everytime...
Do you have any idea to help me because I have too much important thing on the phone and I can't just reset it every time...
Thank you
What other mods after unlocking the bootloader? I assume you must have done something (root, custom ROM) or why unlock the bootloader?
Yes I have rooted the phone and only that because I dislike completely the on screen buttons so I used an app to remove it from the screen. That was the reason I unlock the bootloader and then rooted the phone sorry I missed to say that
Any ideas so?

use the method MTTY to fix it, after that reflas with official rom
hey, i have tried every thing for couple of weeks, but its not working for me, as when my cell phone restarts it stucks on the welcome screen, is there any way to delelete the operating system and install it again?
Sequence for recovery is (don't execute the next step if one gets your device back to life):
Soft Reset (Reboot) - this did not help obviously as you wrote.
Hard-Reset - mind that first boot will take much longer than usual, some minutes (up to 10 - depending on the device) will pass until the device is ready again. This is because all operator and init-specific things must be executed on the device with first boot. Be patient and do not interrupt - it must finish by itself. -You may just be stuck here!
Re-Flash the right shipped ROM - mind that the device can only receive the CID matching original ROM, not just any ROM (yet). You must do that while the device is waiting in bootloader mode, otherwise the RUU may not be able to access the device.
Gold-Card Flash a close-matching ROM (so one with same languages and the right device).
Please describe in detail what you did already and what were the results of your actions.
hey thankz, but i tried everything, all the steps you written above i them them all, nothing happened,, please help me,, my fon is stuck for couple of months.. it just shows the welcome screen, nothing else.. is there is a way that i can flash the operating system and reinstall it??
waiting..
bring the device to go into bootloader mode by Hold the camera button on the right side, press the power button. The phone will enter the " bootloader " mode and you 'll see the tricolor boot screen. after that reflash the device with shipped rom can you get at ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Smartphone/Cavalier/Shipped_Complete_Updates/Dopod/
Hey all,
Couple days ago i got the official update for my HTC ONE X to Jelly Bean 4.1.1.
I was extremely happy and installed it asap and the install worked great with 100% success.
Sadly , After the 1st launch the phone worked for couple seconds and then stuck for 2 seconds and just reboot it self , then it launched again and rebooted again after couple seconds.
It looks like a boot loop with official rom , I must say that the phone get to the "Desktop" main screen with the clock , but cant stay "alive" more then couple seconds and resets over and over.
FYI - When i enter Boot screen it doesnt reset , and when i plug the phone to the charger - it doesnt reset at all (even in the phone main screen - apps and stuff).
I dont wanna send it to repair because it can take up to 3 weeks without it.
I even started to think about Custom ROM , but i really want to avoid that when there's 4.1.1 official rom out there.
Any solution?
I will really appriciate that.
thx alot.
Does it stay enough for you to do a Factory Reset? If so do it (Both from Bootloader and from Settings) then you should have your phone good as new
Do a factory reset in bootloader menu, maybe it helps.....your phone is 100% stock now ?
Enter the bootloader menu by pressing and holding the power button and volume - button until it reboots into bootloader menu
I did factory reset both on settings and on boot screen , The problem doesnt solved.
My phone is 100% stock yeah.
Then i suggest you take it in for warranty ! If you unlock the bootloader and start rooting and custom romming you will definitely void the 100% warranty that you still have now !!!
Is there any option to Re-install the 4.1.1 update? or Roll back to 4.0.4 without unlocking the device?
Atm its 100% stock lock im reminding.
Rolling back to 4.04 is impossible without unlocking the bootloader. Installing the update again.....can't really answer that question ....sorry mate

You can install the ROM from scratch if the RUU is avaliable, check htcruu.com.
Hi all, first time poster long time reader.
I'm stuck, tried a few things and I don't know what to do next. I'll try and keep it brief..
One X international, sim unlocked, Stock ROM 3.20.401.31, bootloader locked
So, I was using Google Maps navigating a place I never visited trying to get somewhere I have never been, the One X completely froze on me Did a hard reset by holding the power button down and then I powered the phone on again, the phone then started up straight in the the bootloader, before that that the HTC logo appeared with some red writing stating it was in dev mode..weird? (I've rooted phones before an never seen this).
- In the bootloader I tried factory reset and entering recovery they all just brought me back to the bootloader menu
- Tried locating the RUU for my software version in the hope I could just reflash that, couldn't find it anywhere
- Battery got way low so ran a battery script to continually reboot the phone, works well and gets me to 10%
- Thought I could try and get a custom recovery on the phone no such luck because ...
- Bootlaoder won't unlock, fasboot gives an error "Too many links" but I believe this is nothing to worry about. Phone reboots with "locked" and "security warning" at the top of the bootloader screen
- Now where do I go?
Any suggestions would be great, as far as I can tell I'm screwed unless I get that bootloader unlocked.
Keep up the great work guys.
H
I give up, I think I'm going to have to ring the insurance company, no matter how many times I try to unlock the bootloader I get nowhere.
did anyone get anywhere with this problem?

Hello,
In the last few months i have had some minor issues with my phone. In May or in June I have tried to root my phone. It was my first device I wanted to root, so I decided to use Kingo Android root. It didn't work. I installed HTC universal toolkit ( or how was it called ) from XDA forums to my computer. With its help I unlocked the bootloader, installed the TWRP and rooted the phone with Kingo. Everything worked OK, the only problem was that TWRP didn't respond to touch input. I didn't solve it at the time because it wasn't urgent. A month ago I installed few root apps from Google Play, but I didnt experience any issues. Today I was browsing the internet and suddenly I saw a HTC logo and the screen came grey. I waited for a minute and then force turned the phone off. It didn't want to start again. I booted into bootloader. It showed few errors, but was successful to boot. I wanted to open recovery, but it opened the bootloader menu again. Factory reset option didn't work too. I turned the phone off and then turned it on again, but it was stuck in infinite startup loop. Also the HTC logo was broken, there were strange colourful squares around it.
How can I repair my phone? I know that it isn't totally bricked, but this looks really bad. At least I would like to save my data and I will buy a new phone.
Thank You very much for Your help.
Dominik
P. S.: Sorry if I made any mistakes, but I am not a native speaker.
So today it doesn't even turn on!!!! I have tried everything, I was holding power and volume down button for almost two minutes, did the same with my mobile connected to the charger and to the computer, but nothing :crying: .
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?????
Hi,
I was just a casual android user, noo flashing, no rooting, no 52634 aplication.
But still today my phone stoped working all of a sudden. It wont get past google logo. All i can do is get to hold volume down+powerbutton. But then, recovery, restart bootloader does nothing.
Was reading some tutorials how to flash a stock rom... but theres a huge problem since my phone wont turn on, i cannot unlock bootloader.
I know my phone is still under warranty but i want to fix a problem by myself. I dont want to be without a phone for 45 days, cus i know how warranty works in my country.
