Android 10, screen locked, but can still toggle wifi, bluetooth and hotspot using the drop down quick setting menu. Only location seems to require an unlock. This can't be secure. Anyway to lock it down besides removing the sensitive shortcuts from the menu?
This is annoying because it toggles my Do Not Disturb sometimes while in my pocket.

On lockscreen (sense) I can pulldown notification before phone is unlocked. I have instaled Power Control wich add shortcut for wifi, tethering, 3g,.... shortcut to notification bar and few time phone is unlocked in my pocket, notification is pulled down and wifi tethering enabled, feal some heat in my pocket and battery is drained
Can this pulldown be disabled somehow?
Its the same even on non-sense.
You can't avoid that, just avoid putting your phone in a too cramped positition. I've experienced this myself and thebest solution is too wear more loose pockets
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I just use leather case, and never had this problem with notifications...
I came home and its again unlocked, bt enabled and wifi tethering, ahhhhhhhh. Maybe is problem wenn i receive call, sms or email that unlock phone and after that screen is always on in my pocket.

Would using an unlock pattern or other security measure help?
If you do that, notification pulldown during lock-screen doesn't work.

Vipers rom has an option to disable it, in there venom tweaks.
Does anyone know of an app, or widget that easy lets me toggle screen lock security on and off with one click, like a toggle?
The reason I ask, is that at certain times, I like having the lock screen pattern enabled, but most of the day I like to have it turned off and just the normal swype lock screen without security.
I know I can do this in the settings, but it gets annoying having to go in the settings, enable the lock pattern, and go through all that each time I want to have it enabled for a while.
Any suggestions, or apps that can enable some type of lock screen pattern, or security, but have it easily toggled on and off without having to re set it up each time I want to enable or disable it?
On all my previous devices I used widgetsoid (fantastic app) which would allow to you add a simple 'Auto Lock' toggle button to the notification panel, that had a padlock icon. You tap/un-tap in order to enable/disable the lock screen, which was very handy for whenever I'd be in a secure place such as home.
Is there anything like this in the G4 settings other than 'Smart Lock'? I'd like to avoid the need for my gps/location settings to be constantly on when they're not needed.
While my pixel is locked, I can pull down the notification bar and access my phone settings (wifi, data, Bluetooth, hotspot, etc.).
Is there a way to disable access to those settings on the lock screen? I don't want those settings accessible until my phone is unlocked.

Did you start another thread with the same title? I can't seem to find it now. But nonetheless, I can't figure it out either. I've seen posts about using the systemUI tweaks but that doesn't seem to work. I kind of believe it to be a security problem since you can disable wifi, data, bt etc. And I really don't want to know how to do it with a custom rom since I'd never run one on this device since my bl is locked.
Bump on this. Is it possible to disable the navigation dropdown on the lockscreen that allows access to all your settings? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
@facted
system allows to access some settings
anyway you can use a lock screen app
I searched and found this and I am using it myself now
Go to app setting and find disable status bar > turn it on and Done!
ZUI Locker-Elegant Lock Screen

Sorry to say but this app (ZUI locker) is crap. No finger unlock, thats for starters... I dont even want to get into the other things this program lacks of.
there's a xposed module that can fix this however xposed isn't stable on Oreo yet...
https://github.com/char101/xposed-q...main/java/com/github/char101/qslock/Main.java
maybe it can be adapted for magisk.
Hi all,
Hope you are fine. I am using Mi Note 10 Lite and MIUI 12.02 Global ROM. I can access/enable/disable all things (WIFI, Mobile Data, etc.) on Notification Bar when phone locked. My opinion is this is a vulnerability for me. Is there any way to prevent this?
Any help appreciated.
Kind Regards.
Settings -> notification -> lock screen notification -> disable the "Open notification shade on lock screen"
Well, if you swipe to the right while on lock screen (to the camera), you can still access the Notification bar. So for instance, if you lose your phone, anyone can still disable wifi and gps in case you access the "find my phone" option on the PC.

I believe that disabling the status bar on the lock screen is not a security feature, but rather to prevent accidental modification of some settings (in a pocket for example). If someone steals your phone, they can just as well turn it off, remove the SIM card or perform a factory reset, they do not really need to use the status bar at all..
