I´ve found that although excellent for sound and microphone performance, other functions on the Edifier P180 earphones such as volume control won´t work with my Mi A2 Lite, recently upgraded to Android 9. Any suggestions/solutions? Thanks

Hey,
I have just purchased the 1more triple driver in ear headset. Sadly the volume down control button does not work which is weird because the headset is said to work with android devices and the Xiaomi Piston (also designed from 1more) actually do work with my OP3.
Does anyone have or had similar problems with one button not working with a headset?
Best, Martin
Could this maybe be fixed with another ROM? Or is it a phone kind of Problem? Really strange, since volume up does work.

Can you try the volume with another Android device?
Hello. It works with a Sony Xperia .
I've recently bought the xiaomi hybrid Pro (I previously had the piston 3) and realised that the control buttons doesn't work properly on my phone only.
The central button (play/pause) activate both the pause and/or the vol+ signals in a "random" way. This appens on my phone only. I've tested both the hybrid Pro and the piston 3 with other phones and both works properly. The piston 3 works properly on my phone too.
I'm on mi5s 3gb xiaomi eu 7.10.12 with supersu. Headphone tested with stock music app, Google music, Spotify and Android Headset Tester.
Can someone help me understand this problem?

Hi you guys, how's everybody?
Tried everything: updating the AirPods firmware with a new iPhone (connected both to chargers, AirPods connected to iPhone and all), nothing yet :?
With iPhone, the volume is great. With Xiaomi, the voice messages, music -volume is very very low, although all is on MAX volume.. Tried changing region, tried allowing AAC and disabling dual volume from dev setting.
Does anybody have a fix?
IMUI 11
Same problem with my redmi note 8 pro.
Tried all the things mentioned but didn t work for me
Miui 11 stable
Install Poweramp (don't enable MusicFX , unless you have ViPER4Android)
go to equalizer and adjust according to your preferance
if it still the same then your AirPods are fake ...
Try this; go to developer options and "Disable absolute volume" / Enable.

Thank you, tried this. Still the same
Ideas?
Same here! Someone has any suggestion to solve this? Thank you.
Hey, I have A redmi/xiaomi - on my side, I disabled the Bluetooth A2DP hardware (available on the "Developer options") and it worked really well
Hello. I'm on Xiaomi.eu Custom ROM MIUI 14. I have a problem with low volume on bluetooth headphones and on the bluetooth radio in the car. I haven't tried a usb-c to jack adapter because I don't have one. The volume compared to Realme GT is diametrically low. I tried with Dolby Atmos off and on Poco F4 and Realme GT and the result is the same - the volume on Poco F4 is much lower. I don't know if it's a MIUI overlay problem. Region set to Poland because that's where I'm from. I've tried switching to US and India, but it doesn't work. I know it used to help. Is there any solution to this problem? Maybe some Magisk module, or changing the parameters manually in the file? Well, unless the authors of Miui.eu decide to increase the volume, it would be great.
