If you have a different device, feel free to test if it works or not. Keep in mind that:
- The camera2 api needs to be enabled;
- Your phone needs a modern Snapdragon SoCs running 64bit ROMs;
- Doesn't work on phones without RAW support (eg: some Sony devices);
- Newer versions may work only on new Android versions. Old versions might be better for old Android versions;
Known issues:
- Slow motion is broken on some phones and Android versions;
- Some devices have issues with their front cameras (eg: OnePlus 3/3T, 5/5T). You might have to install a fix (if available for your phone) or disable HDR+ on the front camera (setting only available on some apks);
- Features on new Google Camera versions may take some time to be ported;

Which version are you using?
I don't know which one to try: the last "generic" one (trCamera_REBORN_V4b - 2019-08-29) or the older "specific" one (trCamera_REBORN - 2019-07-21).
A general comment: I am a little bit afraid to install a gcam for security issues. Can I trust in this release?

It is taking black and white photo in lenovo zuk z2 plus
Video stabilization does not work on redmi note 5 (trCamera Reborn v5). Also extra buttons block exposure compensation slider. Since white dot and zoom icons are not so important (double tap launches zoom), astrophotography/trails icon could be moved down instead. Icons could also disssapear in 'more' section to not interfere with menu graphics. Sliding on AWB icon could change AWB mods.

Testing V5 on Nokia 7 plus. App is stable.
2 small issues found:
Slo-mo records in normal speed
Button for tele-lens does not appear.
1 thing that i wish could be fixed: when setting AWB to "pixel" ,restarting the app brings it back to normal, would be nice if it stayed at "Pixel AWB"
Good cam but in new version v5Deepend dosent have option in video and cant change fps.
Just tested the Snapdragon 845 version on my Poco F1 stock MIUI 11.0.5 Android 9 and it is buggy, motion doesn't work, the text on screen doesn't disappear sometimes or it pop ups while it shouldn't, the photos have a tint on them, sometimes red, green or yellow, when going from one tab to another (for example, photo to night mode) it doesn't change properly and even if it does it may fail to show the camera feed, when starting the app for the first time it may or may not let me tap to allow permissions (sometimes it shows the alert and sometimes it shows it but it goes away but I can still tap it), even when clearing cache and data and restarting the app it has these and some other issues, none of them happening on Gcam ports 6 and 7 by San1ty, just giving the feedback in case you need it.
works like a charm but it would be nice to mention that going into setting after opening the app for first time removes the pink tint.
i removed the app twice because of not knowing it

As many of you requested, and me also, as an owner of the Mi Note 3, MIUI camera was really necessary in AOSP / LOS based custom ROMs. There was already an old port by Arnova8G2 but that one used only the main wide camera.
Now I managed to completely port features like secondary camera, portrait mode and others outside MIUI.
Beware that this mod is only made for Mi Note 3. Do not try it on other Xiaomi devices as it may cause a bootloop or affect functionality of the camera in your device.
Features we have so far in this mod:
Dual camera portrait mode, working with objects also, not just persons
2x Telephoto zoom in good light conditions using secondary camera
Slow-motion fully working
Improved video quality and auto focus
Working filters and manual mode
Other features that you discover
Requirements in order to use this module:
Own the Mi Note 3 and not other device!!!
Magisk (min version 15)
Custom Nougat rom like LOS/RRMod/XenonHD/.etc
Installation instructions:
Install the Magisk module below and Reboot.
DO NOT OPEN THE CAMERA YET!
Go to Phone Settings -> Apps -> Locate the Miui Camera, it should be named "Camera" with package name as "com.android.camera" -> Permissions -> Check all permission to grant the camera access to everything
Open the camera and enjoy!

After installation tips:
Optical zoom with tele camera works only in daylight, exactly as on MIUI native camera
For enabling Video Autofocus change to Video mode -> Press Options -> Go to the gear on right top to open camera options -> Video Quality as per your preferences -> Focus mode should be CAF

For me it crashes all the time, I downloaded the previous beta and that one works like a charm.
I found some wired background hives in photos taken by google camera.

I use 3 GCAM Ports and they all work for different situations the first one is the Selfie CAM which is by Arthur which is the only GCAM Port that works for Front Camera... the second one is V2 or the version (5) port which is the old non V3 GCAM which has kinda best processing and has alot of options I usually use that one for Rear Shots but I also have the V3 Port by BSG I think which is very similar to the V2 but has newer HDR Processing thing It works alright I switch between the V2 and V3 depending on the situation I also have the stock MIUI Camera cuz It's most stable If something goes wrong with rest.

Just install app feel free to tinker I Personaly didn't change anything so can't comment I've only tried normal and portrait had no issue

Have you tried the needed setup as described in Honor Play thread:

4. Go to settings, "BSG MOD" --> Input Model --> Pixel XL for Rear & Front
5. Restart the app and go to settings --> BSG MOD --> Saturation --> Back Camera : Highlight Sat to 2.0 and Shadow Sat to 2.6
Front camera: Highlight Sat to 2.0 and Shadow Sat to 2.6
6. Restart the app [needed]
7. Go to settings --> advanced --> you can turn On all the switches except HEVC/H.265 one.

After instructions it work. But works extremely unstable. periodically freezes. helps reboot device only. After running gcam stock camera does not work.

How to report bugs:
If possible, post on a thread for your phone or here if you can't find a thread for your phone. Please describe the issue and give details about your setup:
- Camera2 Test (included description)
- Phone, ROM, any fixes installed;
- Name of the apk you're using;
- Screenshots or video recordings of the bug if you're able to;
- A logcat if there's a crash (How to save a logcat: video guide, advanced guide);
- Steps to reproduce the bug/crash;
- Mention me;
- Your report will be ignored if no logs or a good explanation is provided.

i see, i notice that when you move the camera feels slow on the preview, the capture of the photo is fast its just the "preview" is that normal?

Remember that it's still a porting, so it isn't as fast as the stock camera

Works fine for me. Try to uninstall any other GCam mod you might have installed.
Photobooth doesn't load, stays on the black screen with icon when I click it:

When I open the app it just shows black screen, shutter button is not working.
Same in the case of portrait mode (black screen).
App crashes when switching to video.
Everything else is working fine except night sight.
Sorry I don't know how to take log.
Please Let me know if anything else required.

Works quite well on the Xperia X compact (unlocked bootloader, flashed to Omnirom by harryharryharry).
Issues I have noticed so far:
timelapse mode has a black viewfinder but does take slowed down videos
portrait mode refuses to take a picture with the front camera (the front camera does not have full camera2 api support on this device)
Overall, this is much better than the other ports I tried (some refused to start, others overheated the phone and didn't work)
Is there a way to set a custom resolution? In other ports this is handled by the xml profile, but I can't find anything similar in this app.

Yea, forget about EIS in GCam with Xiaomi phones. And no it doesn't work with Mi 9 neither Mi 8 and etc.

Good camera apk and work well in LineageOS 16.0 Gsi. The only imperfection is that cant support the main camera(IMX586)'s real 48MP mode.

48 megapixel most likely will not be available ever.. Xiaomi bad implementation compared to Zenfone 6

Good news, this ver MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2e-fu24_Aux2way_4Lens-03g-snapcam.apk give you:
- 48 mpx option ( not test)
- 3 lens work, easy to choose lens

Thx. Good one but i prefer 6.2 with libs support. Hope he upload his snapcam.apk version soon, the dual version one wont let us pick the lens menu.
Btw try use app cloner on The beta k20 pro on this thread. It got the best night sight imo with the pro mode (shutter speed slider on viewfinder).
Until our k20 pro get all lens working this is how i deal with it. Get the best possible out come

Fake 48m Yea but his 3 lens working great.
aux function doesnt work here yet on K20 pro version. But this k20pro port give good dynamic range which do not exposed in highlight.
i really wish u can improve or make it 3 button on screen too. Its really easy to switch cam this way
