[Q] Sony Smartwatch Sw2 doesn't show dates

hi, after updating to 1.0.b.6.30/1.0.a.4.11, the smartwatch 2 doesn't show dates on custom watchfaces, this is what i've try to do :
clear cache & data on smart connect app
reset the smartwatch
reinstall smartwatch sw2 app
changing phone language to english us
but no results at all, problem still exist
does anyone have any idea of what causing it, and how to troubleshoot it? or should we wait for the next update from sony?

From the description from one widget app on google play:
" DEC UPDATE: Seems like latest firmware update messed up watchface widgets. Date and weekday and other stand-alone time displays are handled by firmware (app only feed images to show), please wait until Sony fix this bug."
Seems like a bug, if what he wrote is true. I have the same problem.
Combined day/month widgets work though, but not the standalone day and month.

You can paint detail how to solve this problem?

try updating your device, i can't tell you how this update is.. since my sw2 is still in sony hands for repair

Update - S Health

Hi Guys,
Just received the S Health update from Galaxy Apps. The UI has been completely modified and looks far better than before. Except for the ECG recording in Heart rate monitor, everything else looks like Galaxy S6 Health App . Heartbeat monitoring is changed but still looks antique.
Attached are the screens. To get the update, check for update in Galaxy Apps. If you are unable to get the update, try clearing the cache for S health in Settings--Applications.

Do you have to be on 5.0 to get this?

I really wish it would show both the device's pedometer info and the gear's side by side or something. I'll try the new version when I get the notification

I reset and upgraded to lollipop and got the new s health right away.

New Single Sim Version B350?

So i just read about a new official version for the GX8 Single Sim RIO-L01 Version (B350) at android-hilfe.de.

can anyone confirm that this is legit? i can't find any official posts about this version beeing released so im a bit curious.

I can confirm that the dual version B360 (and now even B380) is published, so B350 and maybe B370 should be available too.

Did someone flash this version ?

Yes, this version is valid. My G8 single sim device was updated to B350 in early July. It has several new features compared to B330: Huawei ID (account), Pro camera features among others. This firmware is very stable, though it is still EMUI 4.0.
I have been looking for a downloadable package of the firmware on the internet but no results so far. Only a 438 MB package has available, This package upgrades B330 to B350, I could not find the full package on the internet before.

My G8 runs RIO-L01C432B350 for several months now. Not one problem surfaced. Originally it was an OTA update from B330, but the full package can be downloaded from here.

Has anyone the full package from B370?

I'm the creator from the tread in the German Forum and i've also found a B370 firmware but I cannot install it. Has anyone an idea?

do you guys think that we'll receive nougat? i think we won't, since we're still on emui 4.0, instead of 4.1 or higher

Because of the size and build number I thought it was Honor only. I just explored the ZIP and see that Rio is mentioned all over the place. This is the 370 update, just not the full zip.

i never had any notifications issues to begin with. the phone works fine as it is, never had any issues with it and i've always been on stock firmware.
only notifications issues i encountered are that media players (music, play music, tidal) sometimes don't look good on the notification centre, but this is mainly due to the theme i'm on at that moment. also the auto wifi feature is kind of annoying because it always puts up a notification that it has connected to a known network, but that's so minor it does not really count as an issue.
PS: does anybody know how to make the emui launcher have a 5x5 grid? thanks

With long press on the homescreen. On the right side unter the homescreen you see "more settings". When you open it, you must click the first entry.

Edit: Sorry you can only make a 4x4 or a 4x5 grid.

Some nice features added like super link which makes connecting to other devices easier, auto sleep detection and auto pause on workouts which enables always on display during workouts. Also improved Bluetooth connection. Still no ECG function although I'm not sure watch 3 has hardware to perform this.

Yes I've read that also I believe it will be the new watch 3 pro. I'm on pixel 6 pro android latest version. Everything working fine.

the update wasn't available by the app but directly on the watch for me (france)

Do you have them too?
Sometimes it blocks the watch, it disconnects for 1s and comes back
