VR is distorted in mi a2 lite

Every time I install cardboard application the VR screen is distorted I tried uninstalling the application but it doesn't work. I reinstalled the application and scanned the QR code on my VR headset but the screen is still distorted. I scanned another VR code of another headset but the picture is it still distorted any fix to this ?

The left side of the screen is complete but the right side of the screen is not complete so the VR picture is distorted and I have two lines in the middle
I tried cardboard app also on redmi note 5 and sane problem is present

What version of mi a2 lite do you have ? The 3 giga ram or the 4 giga ram ?

Hi. I experience exactly the same problem. Meanwhile our twin Redmi 6 Pro is running it perfectly.
Any way to make this work?
I have 3/32 version.
Waiting for official Android Pie to check if it works with no-buttons mode.

I spoke too soon. The viewpoint issues have been fixed, but the video quality is horrendous. The same videos I used to test under 8.1 look like garbage on Pie.

I have just updated to Pie. Everything stayed the same for me
Which app are you using? I am using official Cardboard app and Fulldive VR.
PS. I had fingerprint gestures working all the time.
EDIT: Well, not everything, but left/right zones are still not equal.

Widevine no longer L1 after update overnight - EVR L29

Hey all,
Got my brand new Mate 20 X yesterday with an immediate update to fix Netflix (Widevine L3), after the update DRM Info showed widevine was L1, Netflix was showing in HD. But this morning when I woke up my device looked like it restarted due to another update overnight to fix the camera filters/AI issues or something. Checking Netflix now there is no longer a HD logo next to any of the HD series and Widevine has now been reverted back to L3. Can anyone help me with this please! My model is the L29 6/128GB purchased from WondaMobile

Right after that. Try to change the phone location, maybe the update is not yet in your country.

Sounds like what I had.
Search on Netflix for "Test Patterns", pick any episode, pinch the screen so it shows ALL of the picture and at the top right you'll see the real resolution.
When I had the problem it was something like 950 x 540.
The fix for me was quite straight forward, just clear cache and data, run Netflix, sign in again and it was fine.

Is MirrorLink (in-car) possible with Galaxy Note 10+ 5G?

I wondered if MirrorLink was possible with the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G?
(This isn't the same as Android Auto which almost every Android device is capable of. MirrorLink is quite an exclusive feature)
The official Mirrorlink website is very slow to update and by the time it does Note 10 will be old news. So I'd like to know if it can do it now? Can anyone confirm if it does or doesn't?
Plus points for those who've actually done it.

yes ,I have a note 10+ and mirrorlink works fine
I actually use ARU unrooted with it on a Microsoft wireless display adapter(mirrorlink)

I’ve been using the iPhone jailbroken for a few years now so I’m behind on Android compared to back in the day when I was deep into Android adding roms or simply rooting my Android device. If I bought this new Note 10+5g from Verizon, I am hoping to stream a movie app to the car’s screen even while the car is moving for passengers to watch. The car has CarPlay and Android Auto and the screen also has a “projection” icon because it’s a Chevy. I stumbled upon this post and you sound like you know how to do this. Can you verify how I can go forward keeping in mind I will be buying the Verizon variant of the phone? I just need to be certain this is possible or the phone won’t work for my needs. Thanks in advance for any assistance at all. Would be very grateful. Also, just out of curiosity, do you happen to know if the Verizon variant can be rooted? I've read the posts but saw nowhere a solution or remedy.
If there's any info available I just got the Note10+ 5gcand I kept saying to everyone. There's gotta be a way to mirror by now.... Etc etc
Anyhow if anyone could let me know how to do this that would be great.

no ,you need a Pioneer Radio with a hdmi imput and that supports appradio
use android auto and open it up so you can add other apps if you don't have that type of radio

My Galaxy Note 10+ 5G used to work with mirrorlink, but when I upgraded to Androd 10, mirrorlink stopped working. Samsung were no use, saying that my car was the problem. In the end I downgraded the OS to Android 9 to get mirrorlink working again.

OneUI 2.5 is available

Just downloaded OneUI 2.5 through ota update on my s10 lite in the Netherlands.
To bad we miss out on the pro camera options.
For now the update feels good and snapppy.

I heard that S10 Lite users in Spain have gained Pro functions for photos. Including shutter speeds of up to 10s and ISO of up to 1600. Can you please confirm for me? I don't know who to believe.

Yes. This is the pro mode that has been in demand for a long time by S10 Lite users.
Unfortunately, it is much more limited than the pro mode of the rest of the S10 family.

I bought it in the netherlands. But it is a spanish device from origin.
I have it now for about three weeks.

Mine wasn't getting any update. So i installed the last with odin. Worked fine. I just had to download 5.2gb rom..

wifi calling issues fixed now
amoled panel still have some bugs

the black color is creating shadow when moving

I'm afraid that is some kind of firmware/region restriction.

The calibration does not work for me neither. However the case is recognized as L and R in all games that have controller support, at least for me. Are you sure the the games you have tried have controller support? If you would like to use it in a game that does not support controllers then you need to use a key mapping app such as panda gamepad, works great in cod mobile

It's sad because some videos I've found show the case working flawlessly with pubg if I'm not mistaken. (Chinese videos)

Bro, what's you firmaware/compilation number?
I'm trying to configure it but the bottoms L/R are unavailable in the slide panel but it is there in gray mode but can't use it or I can't activate it.
The instructions says the we need 10.4 app asistant, I got it, but doesn't work properly. I wanna use in CoD and don't wanna use the alternative mode (Panda) for the moment.
