Hello everyone,
this is my very first post, so I apologize if anything does wrong!
Anyway, I just brought MI 9SE 7 days before. It has an 18-watt fast charger. I want to avoid the fast charge but there's no fast charge disabling option. Should I change the adapter!
If I do, what will be best apm alternatives!
Thank you.

Hi, don't worry too much, anything is recovery as far as I know , the first step for you is to charge completely the battery, because is the mandatory condition to make anything .
There are several ways, I think if you are in between one and another rom, your phone doesn't charge correctly, the same for USB or electric charger
If is your case, you can use an external charger directly to the battery or
The McGyver solution:

And this worked like a charm. I charged it for an hour and it gave it a full charge and I was able to flash

Hope this can help you !
Sorry for my bad english
Thanks man!
for now I think that you are right, The charge in the electricity didn't hot, soo it's seems like the phone doesn't charging...
So, Which charge I can buy for the battery?
option 2 is very scarying me.
Do you get a ? symbol when charging??
there is no symbol for charging, just say the bootloader version and "Battery Low" and "Cannt Program".
McGyver solution are veryyy easy and functional!
By the way buy a battery on dealextreme, come with wall charger...
OK. Thank man.
Nice Furom...
by the way, lite question, How many time take to flash (upgrade) a rom in Defy?

Actually it takes less than 10 minutes. Around 5 minutes to flash and 2 more minutes to restart.
I recently learned that I can use an OTG cable to basically siphon battery from my tablet. I'm in college and I use my tablet for notes but I can still finish the day with over 60% battery on my tablet so I've started to charge my phone during classes and have to admit it's working out pretty good. Charges at the same rate of plugging it into your computer but I have not tested it with fast charge kernel yet. The phones get about 3% battery for every 1% it takes from the tablet, I haven't done any real testing but if enough people are interested I will.
Just wanted to share this information and see if anyone else has been doing the same
Almost never use my tablet anymore since getting S3, but I do occasionally charge other things up using my S3.

hi, somehow this trick does not work for me. I have attached USB OTG cable to my Samsung Galaxy Tab P7300 and put the micro usb cable in it. But this doesn't charge my phone.
Do I need to have some specific configuration (kernel or something)?

Ive tried the same thing, but my tablet says a high power device was attached and doesnt mount it. Did you have any app that helped you do this or did yours just work out? Im using a Nexus 4 and a Galaxy Note N8000.

sorry about the this dead thread, but how fast does it charge you know?
Hi all m8 users!
I just bought a new htc one m8, it's still in the box and I am super excited. My question regarding the first and also other charging is this: how long should I charge it now? Until it will show that's it's fully charged? Or wait some more? Shall I leave the phone off or can it be turned on? I know it may sound funny to some of you, I just want to make sure I won't destroy the battery. To get the most of it
Thank you for your answers and advices.
Martin
Just plug it in and charge it full. You should be good to go.
Do whatever you like apart from trying to discharge it after its switched itself off or shorting the pins in OTG mode.
Hi,
Last week, I updated my Zen watch via the normal way (Access watch application and check for update).
I did a "forget watch" on my phone before I proceed to reset which I believe is a common practice for android devices.
I was using it normally for 2 days but did not charge as weekend, I don't use and left if on without switching it off thus the device shut down when low battery.
Now the problem starts, I cannot power on the device and when I tried to charge the watch, the watch only vibrates only and does nothing.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you!
I Emailed Asus Support but because this watch is imported and there is no local support, I am being throw around and I am pretty lost.
How long have you tried to charge it for?
Hi Willber,
Sorry, right after I posted this it works again.
Apparently, the battery was seriously drained and honest like all the problems faced, I think this 5.1.1 is not well optimized at the moment and now I can understand why Moto 360 delayed the release.
The usual charger (direct with cable)I use does not seems to able to provide sufficient power to it and this goes the same for my USB cable + (I am using a multi ports 2.1Amp charging port).
I changed to thicker cable and it seems able to pick up the power. Not sure why this happened because before I upgrade, I had no problems using the mentioned charger and cable + charger before.
While this is weird, I am happy that the watch is back online for me.
Will monitor a few days and make sure I don't totally drain the battery by mistake again.
Thank You!
Hello everyone,
I have a strange problem, last night my phone was charging on quick charge then all of a sudden, charging stopped then I Unplugged then put back the charger in. Ever since then my MI 6 seem to have no quick charge feature. I tried different chargers that have quick charge but when I plug in the phone, it starts charging but right at the point it should recognize quick charge, it just acts weird and stops charging then goes back to old fashioned charging mode. I'm on epic rom miui 9 7.12.21
I wonder if anyone has had this problem and how can I fix this. I need fast charging because of my job and have no time to wait for the old fashioned way.
Thanks for your time and answers.
