Always on display - Samsung Galaxy Watch

Hello,
is it possible to increase the visibility of the AOD? In a light environment, it is not visible at all, not speaking of sun light.
Thanks

Front LED - Interesting Question

Currently, is there ANY ROMs or applications that allows you PWM it?
Instead of blinking/flashing the LED in just variable colours, is it possible to make it glow from dim to bright, bright to dim?
Thanks

Camera options

There's a couple of options in the camera app that aren't entirely self-explanatory. Anyone able to shed any light?
Anti-shake: The manual says, "reduces image blur due to the movement of the subject of the photo or hand movement." Any ideas why this is disabled by default? Are there any downsides to reducing shake?
Auto contrast: The manual says, "provides a clear image even under backlight circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively." Does anyone have any idea what this is doing? Is this HDR?
Outdoor visibility: The manual says, "allows you to take better pictures when outdoors." Anyone know if this does anything besides just make the screen colors brighter?
Anyone have any ideas?
Anti-Shake is an option to use to help reduce the effects of the camera moving while shooting a picture. I see no downsides to enabling it unless you like blurry pictures. It might reduce battery life a tiny bit more while using the camera.
Think of it as mouse smoothing in games, if you do that sort of thing.
Auto contrast is a nice feature (if it works well) that adjusts the pictures light levels in case of a dark subject and a bright background, or vice versa. It should help to make a better overal balanced picture.
Outdoor visibility has to do with the LCD screen itself. If you are outside on a bright day you want that on. It makes sure the backlight is on full and the colors are bright so you can more easily see the screen.

software to control color temeperature

I know there are some programs that can alter display color temperature depending on time of day and global user position on Earth.
What I'm looking for is a program that can do the same based on light sensor data, I mean that outside in the sun, display have a high color temp, let's say 6500-7200 C and when I get into a dark room the display will not only decrease brightness like it always does but also change color temp to for example 3400 C. Blue light filtering like that is nice not only late at night before sleep but also while spending a lot of time indoors even during day.
So my question is - did anyone ever seen an app that can do that?
Interesting idea. I haven't heard of an app that can do this, but I'm sure with some Googling you'd be able to find out for sure.
I had a quick Google myself and it turns out that some high-end Samsung phones do this by default. Their light sensors detect Red, Blue and Green and change the screens colour to reflect your surroundings. Its called Adapt Display.
I'm not sure the light sensor on all smartphones can detect colour range tho, I think most are only capable of detecting luminance. If that's the case I'm sure someone could create an app that reads colour data from the camera when the light changes and could apply that to the screen hue to more accurately reflect the colour temperature of your environment, but I doubt it would be that accurate...
Yes, they can adapt but you can't make them change color with light intensity. This is actually what inspired me to look for better functionality

Finger print LED as Notification LED

Hi guys
I was thinking if it is possible to use finger print scanner LED as a notification LED? I know it may not be currently possible but just floating the idea for the devs who make things possible all the time
I know the LED is huge to be used as notification LED but some people would love to have an LED instead of a ringtone or vibration alerts, thanks in advance for any help in this regard
I don't know if this is possible but this is a fantastic idea.
If this is actually possible it would be awesome!
Great idea, but is there really a separate LED ? I had always assumed that the FP uses the green lighting from the display itself....

Yes I thought it was like that.
I think it doesn't matter if there's a separate LED to light up the display or part of the screen itself is used as a notification LED, but I think all possibilities are there, to choose the color, random colors each time or per app, position on the screen etc...
I don't really see the point in using those specific pixels as a notification LED when any other pixels on the display work just as well. And if anything, you'd want to avoid lighting up the fingerprint pixels too much since they are being used more at high brightness and therefore more susceptible to burn-in.

I want one to do like Samsung's edge lighting. That with Pixel Pulse would be perfect.
Amy work on this?
I disabled fps on my 6t because of the annoyingly high brightness of this green circle when your finger is close!
I don't think there is a led, I saw a video where they open the 6t and access the sensor module, it's just a camera sensor under the screen, the amoled brightness is boosted in this particular part of the screen, that's all.
Thanks God they didn't use a laser light, half the people would go (really) blind.
You can use an app like noled to simulate a led anywhere on your screen.
What about this app?

Yes, that is the app that a lot of us have been using with no issues. You just have to go into the settings and tweak it to your likings.
