Hello. I flashed this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...5-0-242-generic-1279-6978-pre-rooted-t3083764 and i miss the 60fps thing in Camera(also known as: laggy camera). I tried flashing the 4k patch...the 120fps and 4k are working, but the 60fps is still not working
Any solutions?

Hi!
Which one patch you flashed?
This one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...s/lollipop-ported-4k-timeshift-video-t3084488
But it doesn't really matter, does it? I had the problem before patching.
Hi!
I read somewhere that when you unlock your bootloader you loose the sony DRM keys that include some camera algorhytms which make the camera perform a bit worse than it otherwise would, maybe this is related to this (I also have a unlcoked bootlader and flashed the same rom, also no 60fps)
That patch worked for me... 4k, 1080p at 60fps and timeshift video all working on Z1c on .242
Hi all... There's a way to obtain video recording at High frame speed? I tried hdr+ Google camera but It crashes.
I'm running global MIUI stock.
Thanks:good:
i think it is impossible dude.... Xiaomi must place this great option in the future but for the moment nothing..

To use the google camera, you have to be running an AOSP ROM like LineageOS. I have not tried it yet, but should work unless their is something funky with the kernel we have to use for now.
For using Gcam you need to be rooted, Twrp.
Flash Camera2api enabler, instal Gcam, via Magisk flash gcam slow motion enabler and enjoy

Not install
Slow motion has been fixed for like 3 months already
I even posted a thread here about that
Why 4k isn't stabilized? As it is eis, if 1080p can be stabilized then why not 4k?

Probably SOC limitation.
4k Eis needs more computational power.
App not installed
Sorry Guys,
I'm trying to installa latest versione (and previous too) of Arnova' Gcam but process end with "App not installed".
Actually I use version 7 of GCam that I've installed with no root following the specific thread.
I've Andoid 8.1 official ROM.
Any solution?
Thanks

You need stock camera if you don't have it.
Then to record in slow motion you first need to open stock camera and switch to video recording. Then close stock camera, open Google camera and go to slow motion, it will work. You need to do this every time after restarting the phone.

What OTA version do you have guys?
I was facing that problem when I was have 10.0.01
But it fixed in 10.0.02
I recommend to you guys should flash V9.6.11.0.ODLMIFF and update to pie from settings.
After updating to pie hard reset could be good.
Sorry for my bad english

Fix focus by switching to video mode the back to photo
I get this since updating to pie including the January update in any camera app that uses the camera 2 api - seems to be unable to focus, I find in gcam switching to video mode let it focus then switch back to photo mode sorts out the focus for a while, when it goes blurry I switch to video then back again and it works again, annoying but able to take lots of pictures using gcam perfectly fine apart from this.
In another note I find only some of the gcam ports even start up correctly, so still trying lots out.
yes seems to work "a bit" but you are not really sure anymore whether it's properly in focus now... sometimes it's just slightly not in focus, sometimes looks properly in focus... night mode became very hard to use now
Hello guys. I'm on stock rom on Pie with January update. I also have the same focus problem. But I just noticed that the focus works perfectly in short video mode.
You can use the 16:9 on photo mode, this fixed the focus issues on Pie for me.

I'm alway in 16:9 and for me it doesn't work. I've to say that it does it when the light is low but before it wasn't behaving like this... the only way working for me is to switch to video mode to focus and than back to camere and take quickly the pic... really you didn't notice this issue in low light? Which camere are you using? Thanks
16:9 does work much better. But is there any chance getting it work with 4:3? Why is the focus so bad there?
I solved this problm. If ur rooted simply install pixelarity module it will change ur device specifications and build no. This will fix all ur gcam problm... Thxx me later

Hello,
Someone on Reddit suggested I should ask my question on here, so here I am.
Yesterday I received my Redmi K30 from China. It was tricky to buy this one, because I live in the Netherlands, but I took a chance and bought it.
Everything works properly BUT the camera. The front facing camera's work, but the rear 64M doesn't. I keep getting an error, which says it can't connect with my camera. Or it simply freezes and there's no option to flip from front to rear camera. Other things that I tried are: clear camera cache, reboot, change app permissions.
Someone suggested it could be the Global Rom which was flashed (this is a Chinese Version with Global Rom). It seems that Global Roms can intervene with the original camera.
Is this something I (I'm not technical at all) can change and will this work? I'm afraid if I will change to much in the settings, that I can't return it when it's still not working.
Or should I just return this phone and wait for the Global Version?
Thanks for your help!

Hello , sorry , i have a questions for you, do you have enabled Band 20 LTE ( 800 mhz ) Thank you !
Never heard of this failure. I also got mine from China and there is no Global Rom availible. There is the Xiaomi.eu Rom, this not officail. If your Phone is unlocked, you can look on the Xiaomi.eu Thread and try to install it. On the lateste MIUI12 everything works like a charm
i also have this problem.. I just recieved my phone today... cant use 64mp cam and bokeh
I am also seeing this issue. I received my K30 5G on the 23rd and only parts of the camera is work. Issues I'm seeing:
If I try to take a picture while on photo mode, the camera app crashes regardless of if I am using the front or back camera.
If I try to select `64M` mode I get the "Cannot connect to camera" error
If I try to select `Slow Motion` mode I get the "Cannot connect to camera" error
If I try to select `Pro` mode I get the "Cannot connect to camera" error
If I try to use the 0.6 zoom function on the photo mode the camera app freezes
This seems to be the only issue I am seeing with this phone. It's a shame because its a great phone.
Phone Details:
MIUI Version: MIUI Global 11.1.0 | Stable 11.1.0.16 (QGIINXM)
Android Version: 10 QKQ1.191222.002
Does anyone have a device where the camera works normally? Holding off on buying one since reading this thread
I'm having the same issue with the camera of my Redmi K30. Do you know if the new Rom on xiomi.eu solves the problem? Thks for your help
This problem is a bug of the fake Global ROM for this phone, with original chinese/english ROM or Xiaomi.eu there is no issues.
Have the same problem for now I've just installed Google camera that works ok . But non wide and 64 main camera only 5 mega px macro camera is working
When I install a camera info app is only showing me 2 cameras 5 mega pixel each

Google's camera improves but doesn't solve the issue. Has someone already changed the rom and fixed the problem ?

If you have the global ROM your phone is already unlock .
When you power those it's say wonlock?
If yes you can skip unlock bootloader.
And just instal twrp and flash Xiaomi EU Rom
If not booting after just use this : fastboot -w
Power off and is on after you can update from you phone
Thanks for you help. I will try ...

Hi! Where is the ROM that is suggested in this case? I am from Italy and bought this phone on aliexpress, experiencing the same issue. It is my first xiaomi phone so I'm not sure where to get the specific rom needed in this case.
Thanks to anyone who will help!
Install Adb Xiaomi https://www.xiaomidriversdownload.c...vcnkvbGF0ZXN0X3VzYl9kcml2ZXJfd2luZG93cy56aXA=
Unlock first bootloader if necessary
( If your phone already say's unlocked when you boot up just skip
https://en.miui.com/unlock/
Install TWRP via Fastboot mode
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot recovery
FORMAT /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
Copy ROM to the internal storage
Otg is working whit twrp
Install ROM via twrp
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...MK305G_V11.1.20.0.QGICNXM_v11-10.zip/download
If you are in boot loop to twrp
Just use fasboot -w
Power off and on
After that you can update without losing data from updater in your phone.
Maybe you will need to update 2 or 3 time before having the latest software .
That will be done automatically so just sit and relax.
.the update will be done in twrp so just accept and wait
Power of power on
Done
Thank you!!
Hi,
Few of you mentioned Global or English ROM, is that directly from Mi officially? Is so, could anyone please share a link.
The only thing I found is xiaomi.eu which is not the official.
Mine is K30i 5G which is a 48M camera that Camera does not work with xiaomi.eu unfortunately.
Many thanks
