Real me 3 4gb ram 64 gb rom; camera issues - Oppo Realme 3 Questions & Answers

I have bought realme 3 4gb ram 64 gb rom varrient on 25th june. Since then i am in constant touch with the authorised service center for reporting the unstability of ghis phone in terms of touch screen, lagging issues and camera performance.
The results of both cameras are pathetic. All u get is blurred images . The images are out of focus and burnt at the same time. Have tried various settings and modes available with the phone. None worked for me.
Front camera: smoothen is the default filter applied for selfie. It works very un evenly. It gives all patchy images.
Rear camera: In the normal modes with a i set at 0, it is not good. But with a i on , It is ridiculous.
I tried clicking with expert mode. It hangs and gives blank white screens instead of the images clicked after waiting for a long time of processing.

The same thing happened to me also. I could not be able to do. I wanted to return the product but that option was there in Flipkart. I just feel bad luck every time when I take a pic.

XDA Exec camera shutter speed

I love my XDA Exec to bits - apart from the main camera.
Is there any way of increasing the shutter speed? When I take a picture I have to hold the handset still for what seems like an age or I end up with a blurry mess of an image.
Slighty away from the main question but still image related - is there a way of increasing the resolution Internet Explorer Mobile downloads images? I often have to download jpgs for work & the image quality I end up with is simply awful.
Thanks
For some reason, the camera uses much slower shutter speeds when set to full 1 Mpixel size. About half of all photos I shoot outside in bright sunlight end up completely overexposed, i.e. saving lots of ink if I print them as they are bright white all over. If I on the other hand set the camera to VGA size then shutter speeds are faster and the photos end up correctly exposed.
Old camera driver much better!
I reloaded my JASJAR with i-mate's old 1.12 ROM. It's camera is version 3.00, build 20856 and it handles low light much better. Attached here is a 1 MP photo shot just like the one in my previous post. It looks like they have tried to reduce noise by decreasing shutter speeds in recent ROMs.

Interesting Camera Behavior During Recording

Hi all,
Last evening I was playing with my device at home for its video recording capabilities when it suddenly started to rain outside. So I wanted to shoot some video for test purposes in vga format and to see how it did.
You can find this small clip on: http://rapidshare.com/files/251776461/VIDEO_002.mp4.html This is a 3.5 mb file with 36 sec. footage.
During recording something interesting happened; when I turned the camera from left to right, the device reduced the brightness of the footage to almost dark as if that part was so sunny; which resulted a crappy video. But when I turned the camera to left from right the brightness would come back again. I believe this is a sign of buggy driver.
For your information, Contrast is +4, Saturation is +4 and Sharpness is +3. Effect - none, metering mode - center area, flicker adjustment - auto, capture format - mpeg4.
Please note that I did not put my finger on any sensor on the device during recording.
Just see the video to understand what I mean ) Any ideas?
LOL!!! XDXDXDXDXD
SORRY!!! hahaha
It's called PHYSICS When you point your phone camera to the shiny clouds, it will adjust the colors lool
Imagine yourself looking into the sun. Won't you close your eyes to prevent that too much light enters your eyes ?
It's the same with the camera, it's not a bug. It's just adjusting to the picture. If point the camera into a dark room, you'll see that everything gets brighter and if you point it at light, everything will get darker
btw, is it possible that you're from turkey?
LOL!!! XDXDXDXDXD
SORRY!!! hahaha
It's called WRONG ANSWER. There's no sun in the sky and I point my camera to the houses which cover at least 80% of the view; it is 19.00 o'clock at evening, it's not shiny; but because of buggy software the device reduces all the brightness so you can not see or record anything at the end!
Btw, I am from Ankara, Turkey.
I do think mr PumpAction has a valid point (besides acting a bit like a 10 year old). I also think the camera tends to 'darken up' a bit too much whenever there is a high contrast scenario. In your case: the sky vs the ground. It may not be sunny, but the sky is bright white - thus the camera tries to compensate - and unfortunately overcompensates turning the city into a dark black.
You may want to try to alter the 'measuring mode'. I'm not exactly sure what the translation is in English (or Turkish for that matter) as I have a Dutch model of the tp2.
Anyway: get into the camera application, choose Video mode, then go into the Settings, hit the ícon 'advanced', then get to page 3/4 and select "measure/exposure mode". In my case it's the 3rd option on page 3. I can set it to "average" or "middle area". This may help. Then again, it may not.
Good luck =)
also it wat raining. Bug change there were some reflections. Did you film inside the house? So through the window? That would explain a lot.
(can't download the file so, Don't know)

[Q] Dead pixels on camera ccd (warranty?)

Lately i start using Cinema-FV5 which captures videos with manual ISO values etc (just as the Camera FV5 app that does with pictures).
When i turned my screen down to a black surface i noticed that my camera ccd has dead pixels.
I've tried it a couple of days and they are always at a consistence place.
Has anybody else having this problem too?
Fyi i dont see the dead pixels with stock camera.
And can i take it back to the store to let it repair under warranty?

Yes so long as you didnt cause it through opening the insides or the phone or installing non stock software it should be fine
Installing any non-stock software definitely shouldn't cause a hardware defect

Zenfone 5Z 8/256GB - Camera in low light problem

Hello.
I have a frustrating problem with my asus zenfone 5z 8/256gb version.
Camera performs well in good light condition, but when it comes to take photo in low light for example in home with bulb light or when sun comes down i got problem.
Cuz camera preview looks like have 5-10fps? And talking a photo takes a while I mean click on button and i have to wait couple of sec without any movement otherwise i will get so blured photo..
Also I have a second problem in low light i getting strange white/color lines, something like flickering...
I make post on official asus zentalk, but they said "Under normal light source brightness, the camera preview frame rate speed is 30fps; in low light environment, it will be reduced to 8fps, increasing the exposure time and increasing the brightness of the preview, so the preview may result in afterimage, which is the design behavior." - And its funny for me, because for example Pocofone F1 with same sony sensor don't have that problem.
Now i don't know, is that issue with asus software or it's issue with camera hardware and I have to go with phone to service?
Well if it's software issue, any of custom rom fix that?

What's wrong with this phone.. ?
Thank you for any help!
I have the same issue both with the low quality laggy viewfinder in camera apps (like Snapchat) and the flickering screen / vertical lines in low light. Focusing is also not as reliable in low light.
My main camera's focusing is defective and doesn't work anymore. I am attempting to get it replaced under warranty (I hope they ignore the unlocked bootloader, if not then there are replacement camera modules on eBay).
I don't think a camera replacement would help the laggy viewfinder in camera apps, but I will report back if the flickering/lines is improved in any way.
Same to my phone 5z. Video quality not good 8n low light condition. The slow motion video in low light also terrible
Just got my phone back from Asus with a replacement rear camera.
So far, the vertical lines and flickering have not improved. Focusing and taking videos (in the Camera app and in social media apps) still have a lot of flickering and lines.
Although, I did notice that Snapchat has much improved video recording. Not sure if it was the camera replacement, or the update to Android 10, but the viewfinder in Snapchat has minimal lag and takes much better videos than before.
Edit:
I can confirm MUCH better camera quality/smoothness in 3rd party apps (specifically Snapchat and Instagram) on the official Android 10 update. My snaps are very smooth and locked to 60fps, even in the dark (although the images/videos in general come out a little darker).
Some of the custom Android 10 based roms I tried (which are currently based on the Pie vendor) have significantly worse camera image/video in 3rd party apps.
Same problem here. That's very annoying because sometimes I'm recording in good light condition but background have some dark places then the lines are constant flickering in that part. This is ridiculous bad software problem.

Nightmode Broken - Camera Updates (Android 10)

MANY CAMERA FEATURES ARE INDEED REMOVED IN THIS UPDATE WHILE MAKING NIGHTMODE UNUSABLE
Night mode is broken, doesn't seem to work properly !
The images are now noisy & over exposed.
Problem :
Nightmode images are clicked instantly now, thus there's no improvement. Previously it took 2-3 secs to capture the images, thus giving better output.
Other Stuff :
• Normal Daylight shots seems to be marginally improved. Images are a bit sharper with less noise.
• Camera UI lag is considerably reduced.
• You cannot adjust brightness manually in wide angle lens now.
• You now cannot zoom in 25MP mode
> The previous night mode was much better, as shown below !
( Image taken before & after updating )
Using A505F - Indian Variant !
Anyone else facing the same issue ?
EDIT :
The phone speaker output is lil louder than before XD
To me it looks like first photo was shot in complete darkness and second photo before dusk..
True on my android 10.
Agree samsung been doing this more often. Maybe it woudl be better to get the stable android 10 update rather than a buggy one.

Yeah, half n hour after updating to Android 10.
Dusk or darkness, A50 never overexposed this badly in nightmode.
You should try yourself or did you ?
yes! night mode effect is very subtle and images are also washed out not at all usable.

Also you cannot adjust brightness in wide angle nor can you zoom in while using 25MP mode like you could previously.
Seems like a cheap move by Samsung.
