Hi, I noticed that after my phone came back from service (because of custom rom) stock rom doesn't have the update center (distribution. RETBR), so I don't get updates and I can't unlock the bootloader anymore, and install other roms customized. It looks like I'm stuck on Android 8 and would like to upgrade to 9 Pie. Any solution? (I'm using a theme with Andromeda, which is why the colors are different.)

Hey, so I wanted to install MIUI 10 with Android 9 on my Xiaomi Mi6 6/64 and I was not able, instead I was forced to download ROM directly from Xiaomi servers (bagota.d.miui.com), also recovery image was not working under Orange Fox 9.0 so I used fastboot, and I got it.
But I'm little scared about that Pie update have bugs and so thus this is why it got rollbacked? I'm not sure, but maybe really it got rollbacked? But why there is no any information and I was forced to do my own research via google?

Maybe it's working only in OTA but OTA updates were not working for me since I got Magisk and unblocked BT? I got "wait minute or two" error when on Android 8 I choosed "Install from selected package" but I don't got it working tho.

I just started learning how to root my one plus 5t and in the middle of the proces i bricked it , found an software online that unbricks your phone and i got it back at android 7.1.1 and oxygenOS 4.7.4.
I want to put it back to the highest android and the newest available oxygen os for the 5t. But the update function doesnt work or to be precise it says that the newest version is already installed. I tried to manualy update it but when i tried it says update failed.
If anyone has more experience ( practicaly everyone ) i would be grateful for your help

The official ROM, and working TWRP Recovery.
If you would do exactly the same as mentioned in the post , probably you will get Android Q along with TWRP installed.

Hey, can i use lineageos on my 20x?
The only way is if you're running Android 9, have it rooted (can't root this phone running Android version above 9, maybe 9.1) and there's a LineageOS rom built for the 20x. I don't think there was ever a rom built, so pretty sure you can't unless you build it.
two options: based on emui 9 unlock bootloader via ministryofsolutions and then either -
A) install openkirin custom rom, will work for sure but still stuck on android 10
B) check and see if any GSI rom might work, potentially issues or might not boot at all, but goes up to android 11/12
i plan to replace my battery in a few months, together with a new back casing to get rid of some scratches. with that, i also plan to try and unlock my BL and play around with GSI roms. with a bit of luck, one of them might boot and work android 11/12, here we come?! hahaha
I have been a huge fan of costom roms for a long time and I was mainly a fan because of we could get stock Android on other Android phones..i had a samsung and redmi phone when I was a kid so I really loved Android Oreo and noughat and specially it's vertical rescents screen and animations and all.....but I didn't have a pc back then.....now I do and so when I bought my new poco , immediately unlocked bootloader and added costom rom and evrything ..android 10 is the lowest android version for my device and..the inner child in me just really want to use Android Oreo or nought..or just the vertical rescents.....soo is there an android Oreo ported rom or some thing or even pie, because with quickswitch we can bring back vertical rescents soo is theres an android pie costom rom for poco M2 pro?

Nope no chance of anything like that sorry to say
Since upgrading to A11 l'm having a lot trouble with the phone freezing from time to time and I don't like the way apps are handled.
I'm using crdroid 8.10 and still have these freezes.
I prefer when the phone was running on A10 (miui 12). So I would like to downgrade to miui 12 and probably flash a custom rom, (crdroid 6).
I know some people will say why don't you want to have the most recent firmware. But new doesn't mean better. I prefer a reliable phone without glitches even if it's not the newest.
