I was able to unlock my bnd-l34 and I installed openkirin los they have and whenever I'm doing something intensive with the WiFi like downloading a file or watching a video the WiFi disconnects and reconnects randomly. Can it have something to do that I installed openkirin over 8.0.0.330 while the newest version of emui for me is 8.0.0.553 or something like that. I've tried factory resets and now am contemplating flashing the stock emui 8.0.0.553 files

I've been using my desire for about 1 year now and never had any problems until I decided to go back to Leedroid gingerbread rom and install the patches for A2SD+ with ext 3.
I was having restarts every 10-15 minutes on Leedroid, went back to CM7, currently on cm7 7.0.2 and I'm still getting restarts when I wasn't previously.
I have asked this question before and thought it was an issue with the SD card. Now the reason I thought it was the SD was when I was having loops of restarts I would take it out and it would be quite stable for a while. Formatted everything (SD and internal + cache) put on the latest radio rom and then put on the latest CM. Seemed to run fine for a while and then started restarting again. It locks up on the HTC screen occasionally and requires me to pull the battery.
I've noticed that it only happens when I'm using 3G internet connectivity. Just recently it tried to get a lot of updates and would start downloading them only to restart. It does eventually get the updates though.
To test this I can start watching a youtube video and it will crash. For example I just watched 1 minute of one video before it crashed, after reboot I started youtube again and it crashed immediately.
Can I stop log cat removing all the logs when the device restarts so I can have a look what's going on? Any other ideas on how to diagnose or fix would be much appreciated.
What's your radio?
My Radio version is
32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.23 and I'm running CynogenMod 7.0.3
I used something else before I switched to leedroid an old one, I changed it to go to Leedroid then changed it to this hoping it would help.

No I have never flashed a RIL before, didn't even know what these where. I'll give that a shot and see what happens.

RIL (by System of a pWne!^)
Radio interface layer. This is a layer between the Radio and the ROM. It communicates with the hardware over the Radio and supplies an interface for the ROM so it can use the hardware. This is similar to a driver.
Whenever you flash a new Radio, you should also consider flashing the corresponding RIL for it. This makes sure, the Radio is getting adressed correctly.

I was running the RIL suggested above yesterday, had about 11 hours and no issues, updated all my apps, was watching youtube etc.. I was trying to do stuff that usually would make it crash. Eventually I turned on my wifi at home and as soon as it came on the phone rebooted. It then proceeded to reboot every time I tried to go on the internet, with either 3g or wifi, I tried about 3-4 times. Leaving it with internet off for about 30 mins, I came back to it and it started working on wifi fine. Strange. TL;DR ril didn't seem to fix it. Seems like if I can get it back to stock I can go to the shop and change it.
Hi, I've an annoying problem with the Bluetooth: when it's turned on, it turns off randomly and after few seconds it turns on.
It's impossibile to keep connection with other devices.
I've the last firmware version.
Please help me!
Try a factory reset to see if it is a problem with the software or an app.
If it still keeps dropping it might be a broken Bluetooth module which has to be repaired...
I have root and recovery. Can I reflash the firmware I have with root and dualrecovery included? If yes, what I lost?
Thanks
I have a similar problem with various CM12 and CM12.1 builds ... Bluetooth just can't be turned on, after turning it on, it turns itself off after a few seconds.
Originally I thought, it maybe a hardware defect, but when going back to a previous version of CM (restoring a nandroid backup), Bluetooth worked flawlessly. As I didn't want to stay with a build from November, I kept updating the ROM, but Bluetooth stayed offline.
Until today when I made the suggested factory reset. Now Bluetooth works without problems, even after reinstalling all the apps I had installed before. So thanks for your advice, Schlengge
I have an odd problem with my oneplus 3. When I use hotspot to share connection to my pc I can watch youtube, browse web and play games without any issues, BUT when I try to download an update through steam or utorrent (not for piracy) I can download a few seconds until I lose connection and my phone freezes and reboots itself.
I'm using Freedom OS 2.10.3 w/it's original kernel
Tried Exceed kernel and ElementalX kernel no luck.
Same thing started happening to me, but I am on the latest OOS + ExKernel.
Some for me, running LOS 13.0 on the OP3. Any idea how to narrow it down?
When I had Ex kernel this happened to me on Experience rom but when I switched to boeffla it stopped weird
I've been having an awful time with my device:
I recently bounced around between beta and stable and I believe that might have caused the issue.
WiFi MAC address has reset itself to 02:00:00:00:00:00 but IMEI has remained intact. Depending on my combination of rebooting and wiping network stats I can get it to force back to it's original (but oddly Bluetooth has the same MAC, is that correct?)
WiFi is causing random reboots and sometimes it takes me 20 minutes to boot fully to OS without bootloops.
I have already used MSMDownload tool to re-flash back to 3.0 and then OTA updated all the way back to 5.01
I have also opened a ticket with OnePlus and they used their MSMDownload tool to bring me back to 5.0
The odd thing is after I did the 5.0 again and OTA'd to 5.01.... I manually reflashed 5.01 firmware and modem and did another factory reset and was able to fully use WiFi for about 10 hours.
Went to bed, woke up... WiFi disconnected...
Anyone have any ideas? My phone is becoming unusable and OnePlus wants to charge me $200.... but my IMEI is intact!
Anybody have some insight?
Having an awful time.
I managed to resolve the reboots by flashing Lineage... But WiFi is broken most of the time.
I had my OP5T rooted and was on OOS 4.7.5. Last night I tried to update to OOS Open Beta 2 by downloading the zip from the OnePlus website and flashed it with TWRP. Since then I am unable to connect to any WiFi at all.
I've tried to flash different versions of OOS and even different custom ROMs (LOS/AICP). Right now I'm on stock 4.7.2, with stock recovery and locked bootloader. Even then I cannot connect to WiFi. It's not my router, other devices can connect to it easily. I even tried to connect to a hotspot from another device. No luck.
So is there anything else that I can do? Like flashing some specific firmware? Or is it a hardware issue?! Any help is appreciated.
@jcespi2005 had the same problem, and solved it here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/help/wifi-issues-rolling-to-stock-oos-t3730017/page3
Maybe he can give you more advice if that doesn't work.
Flash oos open beta 1 . .

Just to be clear, you were on 4.7.5 and flashed the OB2 and thats when you lost your wifi? That's the opposite of what most of us experience....we upgraded to the OB1 or 2 but lost it when we reverted back 4.7.X.
I got mine back finally by clean flashing 4.7.2 followed by a dirty flash of 4.7.6
I've been flashing 4.7.2/4.7.4/4.7.6/OB1/OB2 like a mad man! Nothing works. No combination of clean/dirty flash works. WiFi still busted.
Just an update : I got my phone back from the service center. They had to change the freaking motherboard! Everything work fine now (with Oreo).
