OK. From the beggining.
I have Nexus 7 2013 with MULTIROM TWRP and i want to install new Android Version. So. Few questions.
1. do i need to change TWRP?
2. What to choose? LineageOS or something else?
3. What is the difference between ANDROID DEVELOPMENT and ORIGINAL ANDROID DEVELOPMENT? (i mean this https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/orig-development and this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/development)
4. Official or Unofficial rom?

Q: When can we expect CM 13?
Doesn't CyanogenMod already build nightlies for CM13? You need to flash the Cyanogen Recovery first before installing CyanogenMod as far as I know. I don't know whether anyone has built the recovery yet for the Swift.
(If you mean the stock Cyanogen OS, it will be a while before COS updates to Marshmallow.)

If you mean CyanogenOS, the one that comes with the phone, then WileyFox has said:
"There will be updates available for Cyanogen OS for the Swift. About Android 6 Marshmallow, there is still no information available."
Very basic questions:
1. What is AOSP and CyanogenMod ROM?
2. Whats the difference between the two?
3. What are the pros/cons of these two?
4. is there any other types of ROM other than these two?
5. which variant is the best?

Aosp means android open source project means that with every new version of android google releases some codes for developers to use it to make there own roms.
Cyanogenmod(now lineage os) and all other roms are based on AOSP as they modifies the codes released by Google.
Cyanogenmod(now lineage os) is considered to be most stable and frequently updating custom rom.

Thanks a lot for the clarification
Hi,
I have a Nexus 5 running on the latest stock Marshmallow build, but rooted with Chainfire SuperSu.
I'd like to flash Lineage OS on it, but I understand that the latest Lineage OS doesn't support the Nexus 5.
What are the newest versions that do? I'd like to have it on Nougat or Oreo.
Thanks!

Custom rom is device dependent like that: https://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/rom-lineageos-16-0-nexus-5-t3921162
That's an unofficial build. Are there official builds? Didn't Lineage OS use to support the Nexus 5?

Follow the device specific installation guide. Generally it is recommended to have latest available stock ROM installed before going to custom ROM.
I saw in an another thread someone recommending to try GSI custom roms.
Can i install a GSI rom on this device via fastboot?
If i can, how?
Should i?
Can i get security updates?
Can i revert to the offical stock miui if something doesn't work?
