Im living in Europe Denmark my self.
I have the L29 636 4G version.
U can see the difference between the phones ur self.
For me the 2 most important thing with a phone is, huge display and huge battery and on the 3th place normal specs.
If u are the type having a phone 1-2 years i will go for the 4G version.
But if u have a phone more then 2 years i would take the 5G version for sure. Because the 5g net is not normal the next 2 years i think.
Good luck, its a hell of a phone... I love it big time, best one ever.

Neither, wait for note 10 or mate30 series.
Mate20x is an old device unless you can get it for a very special price.
My policy is not never buy a device after 3 months of release unless its so much cheaper or its an emergency situation.

US vs International version.

I'm about to buy this watch from Amazon. They have both a US and International version. I have no clue what the difference is. Any recommendations?

I bought the US version and have used it in countries outside US (India, Middle East) without problems. So I am not sure if it matters
Warranty differences. Nothing else.
What about wall chager plug? Does US version come with US type or standart EU type wall charger?
Best,
US version has US plug ( of course.....)
But who cares about that... adapters are $1....
Okay that adapter works
How about watch faces. For example should I use most common moto 360 luxury brand faces like R. Submariner, O.Semaster, T.Heuer etc.
Do these faces also compatible with Huawei watch?
If you guys who have these faces with Huawei would share some images, I will be glad.
Best,
Hello guys...
This is Huawei answer in Amazon:-
"Hello Stephen Munroe, I'd love to answer your question! Certain software updates on the U.S. and international versions of the Huawei Watch are different. For example, the Huawei Watch, featured in China, doesn't have the software update for the speaker that the U.S. Huawei Watch version has. Also, the U.S. watch comes with a 1 year U.S. manufacturers warranty while the international watch does not. (ED)"

Good question, I've just ordered the US version, I can't see why it wouldn't work here in Europe/UK though ?
I heard the US version is not IP67 certified and may not be as water resistant as the International version? Read that from a review on Amazon.
I'm using Huawei Watch US version in Asia (Pakistan) for a month now. It shouldn't be an issue because the watch doesn't have any network bands which you fear might mess up. I ordered the US version because of that speaker update which, according to Amazon Q&A, didn't land on international version. As for the IP67 certification goes, I didn't expose it to even a drop of water because I don't care if the watch is IP67 or not, speaker definitely isn't and since I'm away from US, I don't have the warranty so I can't risk it.
I was a proud owner of original Moto 360 for a year and half before this. This watch is leaps and bounds better than Moto. You're gonna love it using it and you're gonna love it when people are continuously going to compliment you because this watch is an exquisite piece of technology.

The difference in the Huawei Watch 2 international version & US is this.
Huawei did not release it's stand alone LTE version in the US, the US version lacks a sim card slot & LTE capability, it only runs on Bluetooth & WiFi & NFC.
The international version ha LTE capability, it has a sim card slot & can be used as a stand alone LTE device with it's on phone number so it doesn't need to be connected to a phone, it can run off LTE & WiFi & Bluetooth & NFC.
You're responding with comment about HW 2 to an almost 2 year old post which was about HW 1....??

Mate 20 X 5G Final Specs Emerge [Disappointing!]

I have been waiting to get my hands on the Mate 20X 5G model for a while. It is now becoming more widely available around the world (Kuwait, UAE, Finland, Switzerland and China and the UK by the end of July as the T-ban has been partially lifted, Lol). Here are all the key differences between the ORIGINAL version and the 5G variant and some are very disappointing. I think I will skip this version and wait for the Mate 30X or the Mate X.
In the meantime, if anyone has bought the new 5G model, you can update the thread with more information.
Model Number: EVR-N29 International Version/EVR-N00 Asia Version
THE GOOD NEWS:
Networks: 2G-4G on original vs 2G-5G SA/NSA on the 5G model
RAM: 8GB identical to the memory size of the China version with 8GB/256GB
ROM: 256GB identical to the memory size of the China version with 256GB/8GB
GooglePlayStore: Included on the original International model vs also included on the 5g model (except the Asia variant which does not include GooglePlayStore)
Charging: 40W Super Charge vs 22W Super Charge on the original.
Wireless Charging: Included (according to unboxing videos online, but not 100% confirmed) vs Not Included on any of the Original variants
Colour: Emerald Green vs 2 colours on the original (Good for some and possibly bad for some)
NOW THE BAD, THE REALLY BAD NEWS:
Battery: 4200mAh vs 5000mAh on the original
Headphone Jack: No Headphone Jack vs the Original with the Headphone Jack and 3.5mm headphones (5g model comes with Type C headphones)
Speakers: Single Stereo Speaker only (top speaker has been removed) vs Dual Stereo Speakers on the original variants
Damn so many downgrades.
Wont be surprised if the the reason is to put 5g antennas.
I wouldn't change the Mate 20 X for the 5g variant for only one reason : Stereo Speakers... Dangg, this phone is loud ! ?
Here is the official spec sheet:

Both the original and the 5g model has stereo sound but on the 5g model they have reduced the number of speakers from 2 to 1 (top speaker missing).

Rumors about Mate 30 X?
An Global 8GB/256GB was kinda nice, but damn i didn't know about the single speaker and no headphone jack. No 5G model for me than. This is indeed more an downgrade.
Please suggestion: buy that no 5g or wait for 30 X?

I'd wait for 30 X (hopefully there will be one). 5G will take at least a year or two to become universal.
High price in Germany, it will be €1000. Also ''NOW THE BAD, THE REALLY BAD NEWS''

any news if it can be rooted - flashed ? tnx
is the 5G varient going to be any faster than the EVR-AL00 model with 8/256, when it comes to daily use, or is it going to be the same speed but. just be faster when it comes to surfing the web/ downloading content and streaming? Cause if my daily useage is getting improved then I may step up but, if im not seeing an improved when it comes to using the phone other than that then ill just stick to the OG version.

Totally agree. With these spec reductions and the crazy price tag, we are better off waiting for (hopefully) a Mate 30X with Android or ArkOS or whatever it may be called(BTW, I like the new camera setup on the Mate 30 Pro that has been shown on some renders this week)
If Mate 30X is not released in time, I will just wait for Microsoft to (hopefully) release the Surface phone in January with Android compatibility and the Hybrid Windows 10 OS for mobiles. That I think would be the ultimate phone setup. This I think would be the most credible chance for Microsoft to remain relevant in the mobile space again and offer a good alternative to IOS and Android systems.

Daily use (speed etc…) should be the same as the only addition is a 5G modem (simply for accessing 5g SA/NSA bands) and the removal of some really important features such as the 3.5mm jack, reduction in battery size and the removal of the top speaker. If you can live with these then I would say then you can step up but I would say if 5g is not really important then wait until Mate 30x or another alternative comes. Don't forget IFA 2019 is just around the corner and other brands that are aware of Huawei's success with the original Mate 20x may want to tap into its success model. I must say I had my hopes high for the Mate 20X 5g but now my only option is to either go for Mate X as my first 5G phone or wait for Mate 30x which should have integrated CPU with 5G in-built unlike the 2 chips that are separately positioned on the new Mate 20X 5G. Due to the space management, Huawei appears to have made some serious compromises.
Personally, with 5g rolling out, I would want my next phone to be 5g so that I don't have to think about changing my phone for the next 2-3 years at least. Then hopefully 5g and folding phones will be more common.

The Only 5G Models are:
EVR-N29 International Version 5G Comes with GooglePlayStore/Google Services Preloaded
EVR-N00 Asia Version 5G No GooglePlayStore/Google Services
The above models are only offered in 8GB/256GB RAM/ROM combinations and only offered in Emerald Green Colour and has 5G printed on the back cover.
All other models/variants are NOT 5G. For example; EVR-L29 is the 6GB/128GB for international markets, EVR-AL00 is the China Version with no GooglePlayStore and is offered in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants.

I want to buy A3 for AT&T. Can anyone confirm A320F has working LTE on AT&T?

I've seen conflicting reports of some with A320F with working LTE, while the frequency bands conflict this.
I know A320Y works, but those are impossible to find.

The A3 just got an S9 port which is why I was looking at it, I also really like the smaller phones. The A40 is as big as I would go, but it doesn't seem as easy to root as the A3 was.
Did you actually use the A320F and get LTE signal on ATT? Or you're just looking at the numbers? Thanks Again Mate

no i didnt use it on at&t but the bands are there and it should work depending on your location,
i had the same preference with for small phones and couldent find any samsung ones at a small size after my a3 died, i was
surprised on how compact the a40 is for its monsterous 5.9 inch display, besides that i had that s9 rom on my a3 and a40 has almost all the useful features except some gimmics and also worth noting that it doesnt have aod or led.

I saw T-mobile website say note10+ 5g will come with Android 10, anyone can confirm?
From:T-mobile
Other than the 5G feature, how is the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G different than the current Samsung Galaxy Note10+?
In addition to all the great features of the Samsung Galaxy Note10+, such as the large 6.8” QHD+ display, intelligent S Pen, and powerful battery, the new Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G will have the 5G-enabled modem and come with the new Android 10 OS out of the box.
What model number and CPU on 5G model?
Nice to have an intelligent response! I really can't believe I seem to be the only one that pre-ordered this phone. Usually the pre-order waiting room threads are huge.
I will let you know if it actually comes with Android 10 once I receive mine.
I'm using Note10+ and I'm still not sure 600Mhz vs mmWave. So I still planing but look like T-mobile only giving deal on pre-order

I too am trying to find the model# for this unit. I can confirm that the Note 10+ 5G for T-Mobile will only support low and mid band 5G, and mid-band only comes after the Sprint merger happens, as they own that spectrum. This model will not/never support mmWave with the truly blazing speeds.
That said, I think it's going to be a long time before we really (if ever) get to enjoy mmWave, given its inability to penetrate much. The coverage just isn't going to be there for a while. The Sprint (=> T-Mobile) spectrum seems a good compromise as it'll have better penetration plus higher speeds.
I'm planning to stop by T-Mobile store on Friday and possibly do a JUMP! upgrade from Note 9.
I have Verizon 5G N976V on TMB and not picking up any 5G yet. From what I read Verizon has Qualcomms's X50 modem chip while ATT and TMB will have X55 modem for different bands - go figure
Is this really 5G? The coverage map shows WAY too big of an area. Looks like LTE-E.

EE Released the Note 10+ 5G model at launch. Ive had my phone since August.
As others have stated though, Android 10 wont be released until Jan 2020. A few device may get it leaked early (I think one is already reported) But Samsung do this every release.
An official build gets leaked to a few devices early. Unsure the purpose of this, if its marketing or a hope it leaks out so they can get a few last fixes in before official release.
it has 256gb and im not happy about that.
i have a line unused i will use for this phone. i plan to walk into a store friday to pick one up. the tforce rep didnt give me a nice feeling that the phone would be in my hands by friday if ordered online. i prefer to go the unlocked route and was hoping sammy would have it on their site but no luck yet.
im getting one simply because im an early adopter of electronic products, and here in LA my frequented areas are in 5g. I do understand its 600mhz spectrum...

Samsung S20+ Plus G9860

Hello,
Been a long time Sony Xperia fan, i still am, but I like what Samsung has to offer.
Could I get help with this variant of the Samsung S20+ plus g9860, as far as I know this is the Hong Kong version and will work with UK5G n78 band, are all the same with this variant regardless where you buy it and again just to confirm it will work with UK 5g?
Also, may I ask, is their a maximum recording time limit for 4k 60 FPS? Or other video modes?, currently and in the past the Sony devices don't have a limit and I have literally recorded 2hrs non stop 4k 30 FPS until the battery ran out. .
I understand the 8k has a time limit of 10 minutes, please help with the above thanks.

The SM-G9860 are made in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. The Hong Kong variant will accommodate 5G on SIM 2 and has less bloatware than the China and Taiwan variants. Not sure about recording times.
You may want to keep in mind that if you run into any problems with imported device you then have to depend on seller who may or may not assist you with getting device repaired, as warranty from china is not valid in EU - after all the recent updates, my s20+ exynos variant works perfectly fine and personally i wouldnt risk warranty for slightly better cpu
It's true that is one aspect I was thinking long and hard on, but I just think the SD 865 has gains overs the exynos 990.
I do have a month to test and check it out and if I decide to keep it then I do have 12 months warranty. Good thing about it, is I have paid through PayPal so, I could always raise a dispute if it ever came to them not holding up their end of the agreement.
I'm hopeful that the phone will last me a couple of years.
I have been reading just to much on the fact the European version of the processor installed is not good overall.
