Is it possible to increase the camera exposure past 8 seconds? The default camera app will only go up to 8 seconds but I know other phones go higher. Is there any way to increase that?

i want to increase the fps of my BA's camera, in the registry, it stated there that the default fps for large recording (mp4 large) is 10 fps, i've try to change it into 15-20 fps but when i turned my camera, there is a message and it closed it self... anyone can helpme?
Is it possible to take longer than 10 second exposure pictures on the Note 7 camera?
I think you can. but the thing is it is too bright and you can't set ISO the lowest.
I tried it day time. May be it works on night time.
Worth trying.
With the stock camera app in pro mode you can select 10 seconds as a max. In Auto mode even in complete darkness it doesn't set the shutter speed any longer than half a second.
Since you can control the shutter speed with this phone you might be able to find an aftermarket camera app with manual controls that might let you take exposures longer than 10 seconds. Without some sort of tripod and at night it's pointless to use a shutter speed that slow.

Planning to use it with a tripod to see how far I can push the night photography capabilities of the camera. Will look for a third party app.

This app allows you to select much longer exposure times. Not all the reviews are that great though.

Hey, is it possible to increase the maximum shutter speed on Sony xperia xa1 to 8 or 30 seconds? I know the camera sensor and the processor are powerful to handle that
On my samsung i had some great manual mods in my camera app.
- Used to take some really awesome long exposure fotos - camera usually open for 2 - 5 sec. Sincs google don't want to give us some manuel controls, does any know an great app where I am able to change shutter speed?
I've heard that the HDR+ only works with the stock camera app`? I will be fine tho, as I can edit it later in Lightroom/Photoshop..
Thanks
You can't go past 1 sec exposure on the pixel. No app can change that. Sorry man.

I use the app Proshot for manual controls, it supports long exposure upto 4 seconds on Pixel 2. So I guess most of the camera apps supporting manual controls can support long exposure upto 4 seconds.

IT looks so great!! Its not possible with pixel 2?
So, any idea how you engage the shutter to take a long exposure image without touching the camera - which will cause camera shake? The voice command "hey google, take a picture" only seems to work from standby mode (when you're not using the phone - but the power is on).

Hello,
I installed lineage os 15.1 official on my galaxy s9 and on every 3d party camera app the maximum shutter speed is 0.1 seconds. I would like to have it much longer for long exposure photography. Is there any way to change that, maybe using root?
Read the mods forum
Would this work?

Hello? I didn't find anything, but is there a burst mode camera app that additions the frames, for example 1000 pictures of 0.1 secs and blends them?
