Hy guys!
I have a problem with my redmi 7 i have root acces, and every time i edit a system file (build.prop for example) it saves succesfully but after reboot every modificiation i made resetting itslef but before reboot my text editor says it saves succesfully.
It resetting itself even if i delet a system file completely.
Anybody know a solution for this kind of problem?

U have to give permission of SU when u edit ur build prop

Yeah, when im open my file Explorer it pop up a SU prompt. I clicked "Grant" edit some file, for example i change the lcd density from 420 to 320 i click save it says saved succesfully. Reboot my phone to take effect. But my edit reset itself after reboot.
I rooted a lot of my phones in the past, but never really expereinced this. .

Try to flash again magisk 19.3 n use magisk manager apk of u don't have

I have magisk 19.3
And magisk manager 7.3.2
I try to reflash it.
But strange because magisk moduls are working perfectly. And any other app that need root. Only edited files resets itself :/

Thanks i will give it a shot i hope it will work because i want to modify more stuff like the mixer_paths or thermal_engine etc.
Edit file and replace it from twrp file manager
Magisk is call systemless root...so you can't use root to edit system files...you will have to do your modifications then replace files with twrp

Here a google dialer & contacts for EMUI 4.0
1- download the zip from here and unpack it
2-copy the two apk file on /system/app
3-reboot
4-enjoy
Now you have the stock google dialer and contacts on your phone
I use it on my phone and seems that everything work fine

Same. That timeline's font is just so horribly small...
btw, does this require any kind of root, unlocked bootloader or custom recovery?

Ok tnx! But stock sms allways activate when sms is incaming! Google messenger is set default but stock sms allways activate.

if you have a root you can disable the stock sms app
just install "disable application" and disable it (com.androi.mms)

Any way to uninstall? The app doesn't work with internal memory contacts, no color of contacts and some no have the avatar. I don't see the apps in Titanium for uninstall, thanks!
Edit: it's ok, uninstall from titanium and after reboot the icons disappear

Do you have the latest apktool? You may need to compile it yourself. @Tulsadiver has been doing some Android N apk modding so it works.

What about SDK Manager. Is it up to date as well? Smali's and baksmali's?

Should be. If you connect to Android studio, start a new project with your phone on with Android N on it, it should tell you if SDK manager has everything it needs after it builds the gradle's. Smali and baksmali versions are up to 2.1.2 now. Java needs to be on 8.0. 91
Should work after that. I haven't been able to deodex the files but I haven't had any problems decompiling and recompiling them.

Download this and flash it if u got error like no space available then use titanium backup or any other system app remover and remove swift key and play movies and u r good to go
