Hey there Ace users,
I am here to share with y'all a very awesome App named Xposed Framework which is made by xda Recognized Developer Rovo89
It is a framework which
gives you the possibility to modify your ROM
without the need of modifying any APK or
flashing.
Head over to the thread by Rovo89 >>>Here<<< and have a look at it.
Installation Procedure is very simple
Download Xposed Framework.apk and install it
Then open it and select "install update" and then reboot normally
Well the mods which you can apply to your ROM are basically in the form of modules which are basically apks.
So download whichever modules(apks) you like and then install them like normal apks
open xposed Framework app and go to Modules Tab and tick the module u installed(You need to enable it by ticking it)
Then reboot phone for the module to be enabled and take effect.

I tested it on CM10.1 by Bieltv.3 and it works perfect

I liked the Per App DPI module
its just awesome and also the tablet UI and other mods.
We dont need to necessarily have PA now to have per app dpi,we can get it by Xposed Framework
I will be attaching the per app dpi module later today and also i will try to attach other modules.

Maybe stupid question.. Does it work with gingerbread?

I haven't looked into it. The concept in general should work there as well, but it will probably need many adoptions which I don't have time for. Therefore, I will decline requests for downports.

It requires android 4.0+ to work.
and It also works on odexed ROMs
But before you install it please make sure to make a nandroid backup from CWM Recovery because if it doesn't work on your rom and causes a soft brick then you can restore the nandroid backup from CWM recovery

1.Xposed Tablet UI enabler
2.Per APP DPI Settings enabler app
3.Facebook Home_Enabler.(also check This thread for ported FB home and messenger)

it is for android version 4.0 and above

Original Galaxy Note 10.1 Autodesk Sketchbook APK

I just restored the oem stock image and it turns out that the Original Galaxy Note 10.1 Autodesk Sketchbook app is simply a shortcut that requires us to download the APK and install it. However, the download link in the shortcut doesn't work anymore.
Does anyone by chance still have the original APK?
Maybe we should archive or mirror it on here?

How did you go with this? I have just installed a custom rom and have lost the app.
Where can you get it from?

Sketchbook 4.0 is AWESOME and worth the 5$. They recently updated the app for the first version update since 2013. It IS WELL worth purchasing. I can't say it enough

Hi All
Here a google dialer & contacts for EMUI 4.0
1- download the zip from here and unpack it
2-copy the two apk file on /system/app
3-reboot
4-enjoy
Now you have the stock google dialer and contacts on your phone
I use it on my phone and seems that everything work fine

Same. That timeline's font is just so horribly small...
btw, does this require any kind of root, unlocked bootloader or custom recovery?

This is not going to work in lollipop or marshmallow, only kitkat I think.

how can I root MM 6.0?? I use auto root but then the phone boot loop.

any chance this could work on emui 3.1 or is it only for emui 4.0 ??

this is not dependent on the EMUI version you are running, nor what device.
you simply need to have access to write to /system

Ok tnx! But stock sms allways activate when sms is incaming! Google messenger is set default but stock sms allways activate.

if you have a root you can disable the stock sms app
just install "disable application" and disable it (com.androi.mms)

Any way to uninstall? The app doesn't work with internal memory contacts, no color of contacts and some no have the avatar. I don't see the apps in Titanium for uninstall, thanks!
Edit: it's ok, uninstall from titanium and after reboot the icons disappear

System apps can get extra privileges and permissions
Look on
http://developer.android.com/reference/android/Manifest.permission.html
Anything marked not for use by 3rd party application can only be achieved by a system app or with some a normal app with root access on a rooted device
For example with a launcher from memory I don't know if it's still true but only a system app could create and run widgets

If you do not put in the system it does not get the permissions, example pull the new Google Stock bar from the Google Chrome application

Its an permission thing afaik, so Theres no way arround using root. (like the stock Pixel Launcher)

Here's a rootless google now version of 8.0, simply added debuggable=true to the manifest and resigned. Did this for /u/iamalbertallen on Reddit
