Spigen Liquid Air - OnePlus 7 Accessories

Just a quick note to say that if you are after a decent alternative to the official Oneplus Bumper cases then the Spigen Liquid Air is a good choice. Great fit, works perfectly with the Oneplus TGSP and has a slightly higher rim around the screen than the Oneplus Nylon Bumper. Only £10 on amazon too. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07QZ5W5ZN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

In what way? Mine fits perfectly and isn't bulky at all for a bumper case.

Just ordered this phone for use in the US, and wanted this case because I have been using it on all my phones for 5 years. Just found out I can't get this case on Amazon here in the US, which makes sense I guess. I will have to pay double the price straight from Spigen unfortunately.

I've bought spigen liquid air and it have perfect fit and touch

Had one of these on my S9 from day 1. Excellent case, it's that nice TPU type that doesn't stick to your pocket and get covered in fluff like the cheap silicon ones do or mark your phone like the hard plastic ones can.
I was concerned the pattern on the inside would etch onto the glass over time, but it's been fine.

Searching for a SLIM case

Hi, i'm searching for a SLIM case, but unlike the Barely There from Case-mate i want it to fully cover the phone.
Is there any around them? my research got no results

It does not cover the phone
try the sgp neo hybrid, its the thinnest dual layer case ive seen. i cut out the backing now so i use it as a bumber case.
hey im like you. i love the barely there case but i also had a problem with it offering just partial protection.
i ended up with the sgp ultra hybrid case. and i couldnt be happier. very slim. very well built. the only thing it doesnt cover is the screen. doesnt add much bulk.
i also have the sgp ultra capsule.. its just too shiny looking for me.

Just got the alpine white ringke slim case. Best case I have come across. Looks amazing!

I recommend either one of these. The Ultra Hybrid may look thick, but it's actually thinner than the Cruzer Lite one as much to my surprise.
Ultry Hybrid:

Cruzer Lite:

I like the cruzer lite, it adds a thick enough "lip" over the face of the phone that setting it down doesn't allow your screen to contact the surface you set it on. Plus it's only $9.

I also have this case and I really like it. It's matte, though, so it's not exactly grippy, if you're looking for that.
thinnest and uber cheap case
Hi there,
I'm not quite sure how thin you would like your case to be, but I recently discovered a couple of cases on ebay that may fit your description.
LINK: I'm sorry, I am a relatively new user on XDA and I can't post link just yet. However, you can ebay a seller called "smokydiscount" and keywords: 0.2mm Ultra thin case for galaxy nexus prime. Otherwise, just PM me.
MY OPINION: I really like these cases and they're great for scratch protection. As for drops and bumps, these cases are negligible; your phone will probably be just as damaged as compared to without a case.
PROS:
- Incredibly thin. It's as if your phone doesn't have a case on it
- WILL protect the back from any scratches. You can leave your phone on a rough surface without any concerns
- Very cheap
CONS:
- There is no front lip, meaning if you put your phone face down on a rough surface, beware. However, the case does come with a screen protector which is fairly decent (ALMOST to the same standard as Brando screen protectors)
- For some reason it does make the phone more slippery. The plastic doesn't provide any grip
- The case is very fragile when it is not applied on your phone. I had to get a replacement sent out because the case came to my house cracked, most probably due to the postage and handling.
Despite the cons, this is definitely one of my favourite cases. Check them out.
TPU rubber case with stand on amazon only 3 bucks and it covers everything , just need a screen protector

I just just got the Speck Pixel skin HD, and its pretty great. Thinner profile than my otter box commuter, yet it feels much better. It looks pretty good, but I don't know if it was really worth $30

I can't decide... (yep another case thread)

I wanted a as slim as possible case and I wanted it to protect all the way around the perimeter of the phone. Here are the choices (in order from first to last), help me decide.
Rearth Ringke Slim - At $28 it's a bit expensive and it doesn't cover the sides. Also looks to be less grippy since it's hard smooth plastic.
BoxWave Blackout - I'm worried it's thicker than a case like the Rearth, but with that said it protects all around and is really cheap at $12. I think the material is more rubber like which sounds more appealing to a gloss hard case. Not many reviews anywhere for this case.
elago G4elago G4 - I'm not sure about this case in general.
Thanks for your input.
Personally I like the Leather style flip cases, The one that doubles up as a wallet.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-WAL..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item3374db7913
I would never pay more than £10 (delivered) for a case.
in terms of slimness i've basically narrowed it down to two giants.
1. sgp ultra thin
2. casemate barely there.
not sure which ones better but from what i can tell they're pretty much the same, both at a hefty 25 bucks.
anyways, i'm in the same boat as you. XD
not sure which case to get.

I have the rearth and it is very slim, the only down side it is a beeeoootch to take off (i have a dock/charger for the phone) and if you take it on and off a lot it cracks and the part closet to the usb port cover, nothing earth shattering it actually makes it much easier to take the case off - that and the sgp ultra clear and it is almost like having nothing on the phone at all.
I have used diztronic cases for the last year (for my SII and now my N7000). They are very similar to the boxweave case you posted.
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Fle...0386413&sr=8-3&keywords=diztronic+galaxy+note
As you know TPU protects like a silicon case but doesn't stick in your pocket or collect lint and dust due to it not being "sticky" feeling. I recently sold my SII for over $300 after 8 months of daily use because my SII was in perfect condition as a result of being in a diztronic tpu case. No, I never dropped the phone on cement or anything but I dropped my SII on the carpet from 5+ feet and the phone was unchanged when I picked it up. Didn't pop out of case or battery, etc. Because the tpu cases have a 1/8 or so "lip" on the front they also allow the phone to be placed face down on flat surfaces. IMHO and experience, a good tpu case is all you need to fully protect your phone unless you work in construction or somehow expect to drop it on cement.
So, my vote goes to the boxweave or diztronic cases. BTW I got 2 diztronics for $14 from amazon, the black matte and smoke matte. Great deal!
^I'm actually thinking of getting a real cheap TPU case like that I can mod. My ideal case is a TPU Bumper, maybe the Boxwave Black out without the back part but have the vol and power buttons cut out. I guess it's just not feasible so far... ?
Anyway, Thanks for the input so far guys, keep it coming.

first post here,
I have one of these.
search amazon for bumper cases.
I'm not allowed to post urls.
I like it, I have it on right now. What I have is different from what's
in the pictures. No cutouts for the buttons and the other cutouts are not
as big. The covers of the buttons are pretty sensitive, unlike the covers
for the Boxwave type which I got from Hongkong for 2 bucks.
Check amazon out, they have a lot of cases.
I also have the elago Breathe case, I love them I have two.
I ended up taking my chances on this. I guess it's going to be as close as I get. Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how it is when I get it.

Hi all, I'm in a similar dilemma.
I've got a choice between these two:
https://www.gearzap.com/media/catalog/product/3/4/34484-2.jpg
and
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HYBRID-SI...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item416682f7b6
I know I should pick the Zenus, but would the inside bit that holds my phone scratch the outer bezel? And since the hybrid one has a silicon case THEN a hard outer shell I figured it would be good too. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I use a an SGP Ultra thin. Comfortable case. Considering the size of the phone the case is great. Merges with the Phone. +1 anytime.
I ordered this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160732471512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649. It has a stand that works in both axis.

case suggestion

I should be receiving my new device next week :laugh:and I can't decide what case to pickup.
I use a magnetic phone mount in my car so I will have to put the magnetic plate between my device and the cell phone case. That being said anything with a transparent back is out of the question. If the case has legs it would be ideal as well. I work at a desk all day and I would rather not have it wobbling around if I'm trying to use it while it's on my desk.
I have used a UAG case on my S5 for the past two years and I was very happy with it. Right now I'm considering the TUDIA Slim-Fit HEAVY DUTY [MERGE] Extreme. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for a case as well, and I also use a magnetic mount in my car. I was wondering if, since the phone's back is all metal, do I even need the plate between the case and phone?

That's a good point. I guess we will find out soon enough!
The TUDIA case I mentioned above is a 2 piece case so I was planning on putting the metal place between the two parts of the case that way the metal plate doesn't have to physically touch my device.
Otherwise I'm probably going to at the very least place a small piece of paper between the metal plate and my device to prevent it from scratching the rear of my device.
Aluminum generally isn't magnetic, and I'd be slightly afraid to put a magnet right onto the phone and risk damaging some internals. I'm going with the Spigen Neo Hybrid, and will likely put the plate on the phone itself as well.
I have ordered these two. Always used spigen on my devices. Also ordered a full tempered glass protector. After reading on the protector its compatible with case's. Screenshots attached for easy reference.
Generally I prefer clear case and put some good pictures on the back.

I went for OnePlus 3/3T Karbon Case. Really liking it. Also had ebony wood and sandstone case for tests. Ebony wood simply would not fit, however sandstone was very bulky in comparison to Karbon Case + I don't like how the sandstone feels in hand.

I got the ebony case for the 3T and not liking it. It's kind of hard to grip with the case on, sharp edges everywhere. I'm using it without a case now which is much comfortable and grippier. Don't know how much pain it's returning the case back for refund but will try that and look for a different case.

Picked up the Cruzerlite Spartan case for my 3T. Got it yesterday and seems like it'll be a good rugged case. It's also not to thick. Get to try it when the phone finally gets here tomorrow.
Edit: posted the onepluse2 case but they do have it for the 3T also.

I usually go without cases but with the camera bump on 3T it makes me too cautious when putting down the phone on the table. Original Karbon Case does not create too much bulk as its quite slim and in the same time it does protect the camera and actually it has bumps on the front (corners) so you can put it face down too and not worry about scratches.
I bought Ringke Fusion. Awesome case. It has nice clicky buttons.

I ordered that one too but not available to me till 2nd of December so I have this till then.

the 2 best pixel 2xl cases

To be brief, I purchased 6 cases. Each had its advantages. The best case is the Spigen Tough Armor case with built in kickstand. It is a dual layered case but you can insert and remove the case while both layers are intact. Great protection and styling. Buttons are nice. Not too thick. I wish the side edges were smoother but I can live with it. Got it from ebay for about $17.
My 2nd choice is the Diztronic tpu case. It is thin and light. Nice to hold with a matte coating. Screen is protected by the edges. Styling is nice and simple. Buttons are fine. Not as much protection as the Spigen case and no kickstand but I like it's simplicity.
It goes for about $13 on ebay.
I like to switch off between the 2 cases.
Just wanted to post my thoughts.
The first pic is the Spigen Tough Armor
The 2nd pic is the Diztronic. It may also come in a hard version.
Thanks for giving your opinion, there are too many cases and little ranks ;D
If you want a tough case; the Otterbox Symmetry is amazing. It has the standard Otterbox protection, without all of the bulk of a Commuter case. It's a nice looking case without all of the cartoonish angles and lettering. I like it better than the Spigen Tough Armor (which is a very good case, BTW). I was able to pick up a black Symmetry case on Amazon for $19 (prime).
There are literally dozens of cases for this phone. The one I want and can't find is the Zizo Bolt Series for the 2 XL. I've seen the reviews on that case - and I'd love to have one. They make them for the standard Pixel, the Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 3 / 3 XL.... but I haven't seen one for a 2 XL - which is odd.
If you happen to find one, please link it in this thread.
Thanks
Im all about the Spigen Case, Its been a great case for me so far.
I've been using Diztronic for a long time, at least since my Nexus 4. It is hard to top. We got the Spigen Tough Armor case for my wife's Galaxy S7 and discovered it was too thick for our car vent magnetic holder. I assume same issue with Pixel 2 XL version? I was able to snag a navy blue Diztronic before it fully went sold out, unfortunately on back order though so who knows, currently says Arriving Tuesday on my Amazon order.
In the meantime, I have a Spigen Thin Fit. It freaks me out as it is really too thin on the screen side. it is a good compromise for folks that dont want a larger case though. It also has a built in hole for my magnet for my vent mount.
Only recently got my Pixel, but I have a history of being quite fussy about cases, as well as being stingy!
I bought a slim plain hard back cover, which was fine, but then found this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Caron-Fi...var=553503155444&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
It's honestly perfect. covers everything except the screen, but adds virtually no bulk, you almost can't tell it's a case. Doesn't mark or fingerprint either.

Extra thin case? Totallee or something cheaper?

I'm looking for the thinnest, sleekest case possible for my s10+. Does anybody have any experience with the totallee cases? They look nice, and they get mentioned in all the case roundup articles. But $29 is super pricey for a thin case like this.

Really none, it's basically flush. When I set the phone face down with that case on it kind of feels like the screens not touching but I can't slide a piece of paper under it.

I have the totalee case, fit and finish is whats expected from these kinda cases, which is what I love, but if you can find the same thing cheaper from another brand buy it, they really are all the same.
Check out MNML. Almost identical to Totallee, but much less expensive (around $18 with shipping and first time buyers discount). They ship from China, so expect 2-3 weeks for shipping.

Usually these non brand PP cases are 99 cents from China since this is X-Level branded it's a little more. I replace every few months because over time from wireless charging or heat, corners tend to expand.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254161735325/
I have the clear Totalee but for $28.99 it yellows too quick. I use the clear X-Level but going to try this one in clear white - I used the crystal for my Pixel 3 and replaced every 2-3 months but seemed like thinner better case than Totallee for the money
I have 3 thin cases:
Pitaka - Most expensive, somewhat slippery, carbon fibre material gets dirty quickly with palm grease / sweat, Looks good, no raised corners for placing phone screen down.
Nillkin Frosted Shield - Has raised corners, good grip, cheap, looks decent.
Spigen Thin Fit Air (Black) - Skinniest and grippiest of the 3. Soft feel material shows palm grease / sweat. No raised corners. Note: I can only vouch for grip on the black version (soft feel). Spigen cases in non-black colours can be slippery (no soft feel material).
I use Nillkin the most whenever I need a slim case. It's the perfect balance of grip, looks and raised corners.

Then I tried one of the leather cases from ESR; I liked the feel of the Samsung leather case but didn't want to pay $50 for it. That one was a bust too. The case was thicker than I expected, and the corners didn't sit flush against the phone. Bummer.
So I went ahead and ordered the Totallee. It'll be here tomorrow, and I'll report back!
I have the Pitaka one and I like it a lot. Super thin... Don't drop the phone.

The Totallee case is really nice. Unbelievably thin, and a great fit. Not sure if it'll survive too many drops, but it's super comfy to hold and it looks awesome. Nice little lip around the camera bump, but not obtrusive like on the Spigen thin case. No lip on the front though. I'll be getting a Whitestone Dome Glass shortly, and I don't think it'll have any problems fitting with this case.
Two tiny complaints. One, it's a little more slippery than I expected. The smooth finish on the solid black case doesn't provide much in the way of grip. And finally, the case is just about the same thickness as the phone's buttons, so the buttons now sit more or less flush with the sides of the case. Makes it a little harder to find the buttons by feel, but I'll probably get used to that pretty quickly.
All in all, I'm extremely glad I spent the few extra bucks for this one. The Pitaka looks awesome too, but this was about as high as my price range could go and it's a good choice for me.
In my experience, Totallee cases are better compare with their direct competitors such as MNML. I also have tried cheap ultra thin cases as well and i can say that those from Totallee are with better quality and fit. With proper care, it will fit your device nicely for a long time.
I use the ultimate shield cases, its at least as good as totalee for lower cost.

Spigen thin fit is 10$ and unbelievably thin, you won't even realize it's there
