Hello dear LOS community on xda,
I know that LOS keyboard is derived from LatinIME from the AOSP. Does someone know if it is actually a simple copy of the AOSP keyboard or are there any changes or even added features?
Greetings CS
From my knowledge there isn't a different. However I'd recommend getting Gboard or maybe Anysoftkeyboard

I AM SORRY FOR POSTING SO MUCH THREADS LATELY, BUT THESE ARE JUST A FEW PRESSING QUESTIONS AND SINCE THE ACTIVITY IN THE KAISER ANDROID FORUM HAS PRETTY MUCH STOPPED. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY WAY OF GETTING MY MESSAGE OUT AND ABOUT
So I want to use themes for the Kaiser since I don't like the stoch way GB looks anymore. But almost every time when I look at a theme in the android market it is said that in order to install the theme: you need to have t-mobile theme chooser. And since the rom, which I use, scootter1556 Gingerbreab 2.3 RS3 doesn't support the t-mobile theme chooser I am unable to do so!
BUT if I have read correctly scooter's build is BASED on the cyanogenmod 7 source AND cyanogenmod 7 DOES SUPPORT the t-mobile theme chooser! So is their anyway (I suppose that the framework and things of scooter's android build largely is the same as the official CM? ) to get t-mobile's theme chooser for this rom?
Did Scooter just omit the theme chooser, because it was not necessary in his opinion or is it just not possible to port this to our device (whether or not is it feasible for our device is another questions: I just want to know how to do it or maybe someone can do it for me?)
**I have "ported" the OFFICIAL CM 7 rom from the HTC Wildfire to work on my HTC Kaiser, but it just is to unstable to use from day to day basis (with and without the default theme)**
Did you try this one?

For me it looks working fine, although I don't need or use it.
Good luck and happy testing.
Hi guys,
My first post on this forum will be a question, and please believe me after searching in different topic I have not found an answer to my question.
I am the happy owner of a HTC X ONE, and I had the opportunity to flash several types of ROM: Cyanogen, AOPK, MIUI, STOCK-LOOK ...
And I fell in love with speed, speed, simplicity of cyanogen roms and its derivatives (such as PARANOID)
Especially with CM10 Jelly Bean.
But I have to stay in a rom type VIPERX, android Revolution HD, despite my distaste for the overlay SENSE because the application Camera (and in a less importance the gallery app) is just perfect . I think I'm not the only one in this situation.
Is it there's AOSP ROM projects (such CYANOGEN PURE), with an idea of a port of the fabulous camer app ?
Is it possible to make this port, or the only possible solution is to wait for official 4.1 ROM and remove any touch of SENSE keeping the application?
Thanks for your answers.
No it is next to impossible, if anything incredibly unlikely, as HTC sense uses different framework.
is there any possible way to use sense camera on cm ROM ??
No. Requires Sense framework.
Guys I though that was impossible too have HTC camera on AOSP roms , I know because of framework. But a great developer here, one of my favorites, kerneldev101 (hope I wrote well the name) said to me on her thread Rom DHDsamtation or similar name lol, that is not impossible to port sense camera to AOSP ROMs, because their team also ported many apps and camera from Touchwiz to AOSP 4.2.2 to our device.
Still I AM confused about this, if is possible or not.
But wish was possible and we could start a thread and help developers with donation to port sense camera (and sense keyboard too, will be nice) to our device =)
Is the only things that fault on our Desire HD and really need on AOSP roms.
Sorry for bad english, not my native language, and auto correct prediction errors keyboard lolol.
Cheers
So guys, what dou think which one do you prefer and why ?
Would be awesome to read some reviews. I really interested which one everyone likes?
Cause i dont know how to edit the pool, you cann vote here for all cm editions you can found or you have tested on the oneplus three.
There are PureCM, Sultanxda CM, Arter97s CM and so on ... If i miss some edition, just write it down and tell me why its good for you
@ZeNiXxX are you able to edit the poll and add "Pure CM" ?
That is the third most interesting "near stock CM" ROM that I'm following because it has just little modifications from official CM (some kernel tweaks and a couple of useful features added, plus built-in root).
With all due respect I find that custom ROMs like Resurrection Remix or PAC go a bit overboard on merging every possible feature.
Not that there is anything wrong with them as long as they keep stability, but the feeling is that those ROMs are bloated with features that I'd not use anyway.
Ah, and for sensible people complaining for this thread: come on, there's nothing wrong to prefer one ROM over another, it's just a matter of personal taste and of features / tweaks added by individual developers.
Why would anyone be offended if I prefer a Mercedes over a BMW, for instance?!?
I have nothing against other roms, but I would suggest to add all CM based roms (including stock cm) into the poll.
Why leave out others?

i thought that are the most favourite cm roms here. I'm trying to add the other to, did someone know how to edit the pool ?
Personnaly, I tested out sultan and official CM and I prefer official CM cause more updates, more follow-up, and the SuperSU is integrated so I can use some old Xposed apps that used system root and yet still use the latest version of SuperSu systemless
Sultan ROM is great but not enough updates for me, I'm like a flashoholic. The greatest thing that we can do is merge sultan stuff for the camera in the official CM ROM in order to increase the quality.
For the other ROMs, I find that they bring on too many features and they are really hard to understand sometimes, especially where the features are, etc...
Sultan
arter97 with the kernel. Amazing speed and battery life.
@ZeNiXxX, unlike your previous thread this is good title favoring discussion
None of the above roms i prefer Pure CM and jgcaap's rom. The reason is the great performance stabillity and battery life.
PURE CM
Neither. How about stock.

Stock? Nahh
It might not be the best board to ask about it, but I got my OP3 a few months back, and since then I changed ROMs a lot (like, really a lot). I found myself liking a lot OxygenOS (Oneplus apps like dialer, camera and explorer are really nice, and I'm digging a lot the power menu), but also features from AOSP (statusbar customisation mainly, also Substratum).
So I was wondering if there was any possibility to fuse these roms? I'm a big noob concerning coding on Android, so I might be asking for an absurdity, and I'd like to know why.
Thanks for reading.
Possible? Yes.
Viable? No.
It's A LOT of work to do that. Some things can be easily ported, some are near impossible or won't work as good as they should. For example, OOS camera has been ported to custom ROMs, but some features just don't work.

Substratum is available on freedom OS which is based on oxygen OS
Its important to know that what you want must be based on oos. So you should look for roms based on oos. Because its much more work to get things from oos to aosp roms.
