I've looked around and can't seem to figure this out, can I use an OEM ROM from another device as my base ROM and then use it on my Hermes?
If so any suggestions on which devices ROM is the most stable for WM6.1?

Sorry I wasn't clear, can I use it as the base ROM in a cooked ROM?
You have to port it to Hermes! Cant just install any OEM ROM from other devices. I think there is a thread in the development and hacking forum explaining how to port it. Use search in signature to learn more.

Iam looking for a noob-friendly and a newer Tutorial to build a rom for DHD (should be only for dhd)
I found some Tutorials but theyre for Linux. Iam using Windows, so only TuTs for Windows

Can I port Treble for devices that never upgraded to or don't have an Oreo ROM? I want to enable Project Treble for the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 3G, which is stuck on Marshmallow. Any ideas for this?
