I've trying to find a VR solution for the 7 pro however the phone seems too big for the Samsung 325 VR headset?
If you have a few extra bucks, the Oculus Go is very nice. Very similar experience to Samsung, but you don't have to worry about phones.

So I've seen some VR 3D glasses that are made for smart phones by 3rd party companies, for example: Colorcross 3D,Ritech3D,etc...!!! is there any disadvantages compare to Gear VR? or its just the same without the Samsung logo on it?
Also, will the Gear VR apps also work with those 3rd party made glasses? Have you had experience using them before?
Ive been using Google Cardboard. Works just the same. I found that flying around in Google Earth gave me that real sense of immersion. Almost too well! Even on the cardboard. I think the flashier products just have a bit better polish to them, but in the end they all do the same thing. Its just some cost literally nothing (cardboard) and others 200+ bucks. idk.

How about the Gear VR apps ? can you run those with the 3rd party glasses as well?
Gear VR is just a set of goggles. The apps run on your phone., so if your using your phone with Cardboard, then you can use the apps with it as well. Google cardboard has an integrated button to activate things on menus like the Gear VR touchpad. So basically you can think of Cardboard as a cheap version of the Gear VR goggles. To my knowledge there is no added functionality on the Gear VR that makes it "special". Maybe it has a little better optics.
To be honest, once you mess with google cardboard for like 30 min, youll begin to get tired of the limited apps that are available for these things. Its nothing like using an Oculus Rift with a PC.

Thats exactly what i was thinking!!.... the main purpose of it as right now is probably watching movies(which i dont really watch movies anyway).... and i dont think Note 4 is powerful enough to have Games with outstanding graphics, which makes it not that great for my personal use....
so i think purchasing an oculus rift in the future would be a better investment!!..... which i believe it still needs a lot of work!!...maybe 2-3 yrs from now?i dunno....
Totally. Oculus Rift would be a much better investment. After having read this thread I went around looking at the vast number of "Hackulus Rift" or "Oculus Thrift" ideas out on youtube. All told, you can get something similar to the Oculus Rift with some custom software and a Note 4. But in the end both latency and complexity will make it not worth it. Besides, like you said, the amount of games available right now that allow for the Oculus Rift are few, and if your using a home-built system, it may just sour your impressions of VR altogether. Consumer version of the Rift is going to be released in time for the holiday season, and I think that there will be many awesome games ready by then along with some better accessories for full body capture. Kickstarter has so many awesome projects happening right now that allow the use of your entire body in-game including fingers! So in short, save your money because come this Xmas, youll prob want to drop a cool $1-2k on vr gaming stuffs.

Hi everyone. Firstly I didn't find any topic about Apple Watches, It could be just because this site is interested with android. I'm from Turkey, the prices of the smartwatches are too much money. I have been thinking to buy a smart watch for 3 months. But I can't decide which one is worth to buy. I have an Iphone 6s Plus so that Apple Watch may be appropriate. On the other hand, Huawei Watch has great design which suitables for lots of clock faces. Sometimes I think of Garmin Fenix 3, Its obvious that fenix 3 is ageless, has e ink screen like kindle paper white and has much more accurate gps built in as well as sports features. I am pendulate, can you help me guys?
With iPhone, Apple Watch series 2 has no match because everything else has limited functionality I believe as I have used Huawei watch with iPhone but now using Apple Watch series 2.

Would recommend Apple Watch S2 to me? I don't know where you live at, but, I assume that you live in USA, the price of Apple Watch series 2 is 1799 Turkish liras. Would you give this Watch 1799 dollars in USA?

It's a ridiculus way of comparison. I assume you are looking at a 42mm alluminium version. In Russia it starts from 33 500 rubles. Would you get it for 33 500 liras? Anyway, in the US it starts from $399. 1800 liras is about $480. And ₽33500 is $560. I don't know, whether it a lot in Turkey or not. In Russia it is the average salary. At least, Turkish prices are not the highest.
There is a hack that rooted users can use to get Daydream VR working on an unsupported device, in this case the Nexus 5X. Knowing the hardware of the 5X, will games and other demos work well, or will it lag too much? Like on a scale of 1 to 100, 1 being a supported device, 100 being unplayable. Thoughts/opinions?
So I bought the xperia X because I trusted the Snapdragon 650 over hisilicon kirin 659, hoping that it will give a performance boost in gaming.
And then I searched for final fantasy pocket edition, which runs badly on Huawei nova 2i, The game is incompatible with my device, I was like "what the hell??? "
So as a hardcore final fantasy fan, this is definitely ... .something.
I'm on android 8.0, software ver. June
And do you have any options to install incompatible game??
Update: So I tried ApkPure, the game works perfectly, I can even sign into google play account.
Don't know why ggplay store hides this cool game when Xperia is from Japan and so does the game (lol, Jk)
case closed

besides, I'm still a student, relying on parents. When I grow up I'm going to buy all the smartphones I want

however that half price amount may have given you some amazing Xiaomi or Lenovo that run your desired game
how you will have either root or find a way for that game to work

Yes, of course, I know many Xiaomi phones out there that is better (xiaomi note 5 pro, note 3) or even Asus max m1
nokia X6, meizu, samsung duo, A5, blah blah.
But I still choose this one because I love the design of this phone and I also get many coupons along with it, like a free portable charger and a sony's headphone.
though I have to admit I missed an opportunity to buy Xiaomi note 6 at this price . People are just too fast.
