My Note 4 can not key in secret code?

Hello all.
I did a lot of research, but can not see any information about this situation.
If your phone can not key in some Secret Code for Samsung phone, what's happen with it?
For ex: when i key in ( *#06# ), my phone still there, it didn't pop-up any things. (It should be IMEI number, but nothing showed up).
So, in this case, what's wrong with our phone? and what do we need to do? Re-Flash Rom stock or etc?

Missing lock screen setting

I just received my Galaxy S8 plus which I ordered directly from Samsung. My carrier is T-mobile
Samsung supplied me with a T-mobile SIM which I activated through the T-mobile store
I noticed that the " on lock screen " setting is not present. This setting was present on my Galaxy S7
Did they forget to put that feature in ? or just did away with it ? I wanted to disable the SMS preview on my lock screen and went crazy trying to find the setting. I tried searching for others that may have encountered this.
Any assistance or confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

Check settings/notifications then select advanced in upper right, choose the app and you will find on screen there.

Couple software feature questions.

Hi all,
With my old Samsung Note 4 when receiving a phone while using an app it would just show a little pop up widget and allow me to either accept or reject the call. This was a nice feature and it didn’t knock me out of my app and take up the full screen if I was on an email etc... Does the Pixel 2 xl have this feature or does the incoming call take over the entire screen?
Also curious if the do not disturb mode is stock or if it allows the ability to block unknown numbers like the Samsung phones do?
How is the cell radio reception on the Verizon variant. I’m about to grab one to replace the Note 4.

Call and Text from Tablet

I had the option when using my unlocked Note 10+ to call and text from my Tab S6. However when moving to the Galaxy FOLD, I no longer see that option available under the advanced features in the settings menu. lNot sure if it matters, but I have the AT&T FOLD variant. Any ideas?

Its definitely there on mine. Direct from Samsung.

AT&T adds (lots of stuff) and takes stuff out. Samsung call and messaging continuity competes with NumberSync which is why it's not on AT&T's Fold. Neither is Hiya's caller ID or spam protection. I have an AT&T Fold and the first thing I did was flash the unlocked Samsung U1 s/w on it. It's not that hard and there's a thread on it in this forum with the files to download.

I have Verizon variant.
I have an S6 tablet
I want them to be in the same samsung ecosystem..
Meaning
I would love to be able to text and call from my new s6Tablet via through my Note10Plus
It has been said I can utilize the unlocking tool to enable an option on my phone to allow the tablet to talk to each other and utilize this...
Am I on the right thinking path?

(Call continuity)
It has been said if I unlock my verizon note 10 plus
That will enable these options

You can't unlock the Verizon 10+ so that's off the table.

You should be able to enable allow calls and text on other devices. This is a Samsung feature through your samsung account I don't know why and haven't heard of the device needing to be unlocked. Verizon doesn't lock LTE devices either after 60 days they are auto unlocked.
