I was wondering if anyone here has received the tiles feature. I've had this watch for two years and I still love it. I have seen comments on 2 sites claiming to have it, but that was Australia and Korea. I'm in Washington state and have not got the feature yet. Anyone here get it?

My W1 had been off for a while so fully charged it and got it reconnected back with my P20 Pro, then updated the apps on Watch and they were there.
My W2 connected with my Pixel 3 XL hasn't got the update yet, but same happened when the last big update of Wear OS was released, my W1 got it first

Also in UK and have tiles. Bit basic at the moment, I currently on have Google Fit, Weather, Agenda, Timer and News at present. Max 5 at one time and to order you have to delete them and add them in the order you like
Need developers to start working on it (e.g. Todoist, Accuweather, G Keep)

Started new job and can't wear watch out on the flight line. I plugged in this morning and what do you know. I'm not sure how long it's been there but it is now. Washington state

it has been out for a loooong time, there is another device similar to the Beam was on July, the other one was on March
both are for Europe market
they don't seem to be very popular
they are from the 8000 family, although the spec are very close to the Galaxy S 9000 family

Few weeks back I came across a review of this phone on youtube. Even though it was announced early this year (and GSM arena says its already available), I didn't find any information indicating that this phone is actually available on the market. I was looking for it's price.

Just bought mine a week ago from StarHub (the official retailer for galaxy beam).
I second the subforum idea. How about starting a google group as well since the community is so small.
For those who wish to purchase the phone:
You need to place a reservation at StarHub Center before making the purchase. It takes about a week before your phone is ready for collection.
I was lucky enough to get it immediately because someone cancelled his reservation.

I have some bad news for you. Samsung has officially stopped software support for that device last month and said there's no plans for official froyo for it as there's just not enough beams out there to warrent the support as it was only sold in Singapore and very small numbers. They now have all development on tablet and galaxy s models. Google for more info. I read that last month someplace

Hmm never had a problem with market. Have you tried replacing the stock market app with a generic one from ipmart? Perhaps it's locked down to Singapore or something.

My phone is running the same firmware version as yours. It's released on 1 Sept which is more recent than the July version on that blog.

It appears that Motorola has more watch faces than the Best Buy models somehow. A user over on Reddit posted that his Moto 360 from Motorola has 19 faces instead of the 6 on the Best Buy one he has. They're titled: "planetary, polar, rings, coordinates, dashboard, orbit, reveal, digitalog, aviator, photos, and increment." His software is also 4.4W instead of 4.4W1 on the Best Buy model, it even says software is up to date when manually checked.

Hmm, could you post the rest of them so that maybe we can figure out where they came from?
Here they all are from someone else on Reddit! He said they're all Google default faces and that maybe they're part of the next version of Wear since one has the charge/connection status icons on it.

I had a BB watch for the past few days and my watch direct from Motorola arrived yesterday. Not only did my Motorola watch have additional watch faces but it also did NOT have ambient mode.
The watches with the extra faces are on build KKW22 which is an older build, KGW42N is the updated build number.

Why in the flying hell are the BB units different! That's really flaky.
Some of the extra faces sounds like they are from the LG G Watch. None really are groundbreaking, just that they are stock and you can see the cards clearly.

I have a Google Play watch and neither build had the other (g watch?) faces on them.
Can anyone pull the faces off the Motorola release version?
It shouldn't have anything to do with whether the watch was from BB or direct from Motorola. Its a different firmware version (KKW22) that has the extra watch faces.

I bought mine today at the Telus store in Halifax. Futureshop said it wouldn't be available til Nov. 6th here. Couldn't wait.Got the black one. Love it.

lol. I know, I couldn't wait either. One thing to watch out for, in case you'd be interested in getting
a metal band for the Moto 360, Stay away from third party stuff. More than few have ruined their watches trying to fit them !!

Thanks for the heads up. I can't wear metal bands anyways. I have a reaction to them. I like the leather. It's really comfortable. :laugh:

Good stuff. Have you experimented any Root or Optimization on your device? or just kept it Stock?
Picked one up this morning at Telus about 15 minutes after they opened. They only got two in, I grabbed the black one. Really want to get the pebble steel band when I'm the US Sunday, but I'm scared of the cracking issue.
Got mine yesterday morning from a Telus store, about 20 minutes after opening and I was the second person to buy one.
So far I am loving this watch. My only issue is that I keep discarding my weather card from Google Now, so its never there when I want it. I have since installed 1weather, but the font sizing isn't perfect so some numbers are being cut off.

Have you got the new update yet that allows you to swipe down on a card so it goes away but you can bring it back by swiping up if you like. That may help a bit.

Hey guys I ordered my 360 grey model from telus website yesterday, because I called all local telus stores around me and all said wont be carrying in stock. But can you guys tell me if I'm just crazy but am I seeing a BROWN THAN BAND on the futureshop.ca website??

The title is "New! Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch (00527NACRTL) - Black", but the pictures show a THAN BAND, noone is talking about this. But its so not clear what you would actually get if you order from that page, title says black, screenshots show silver with brown band..

Looks good. I didn't make it but this is the one I'm using.
i aint from canada. i am from India.
Got mine 2 weeks ago, changed the band to pebble steel, been using it since last 10 days, no cracking issues so far... So u guys can change the band without any problem, but make sure u dont have very small wrist..
Had mine a couple of days now and my battery life is amazing, yesterday took it off charger at 5am and on my way home from work at 4pm it was at 75%. When I got home I used it a lot (making facer faces) went to bed at 11:30 pm and it was still at 39%.

I've went through 5 Moto 360s and all have the same issue. I tried those apps to unstuck dead pixels and it doesn't work. It's a hardware issue that software can't fix.

Yeah after knowing they kept the flat tire the huawei watch was an easy sell for me. Just preordered the silver version myself, very excited!

Amazon however assured me it was still on schedule to be delivered by 9/4 so look for the page to go back up soon!
I'd have personally hung on for the reviews, that 300mAh battery concerns me.

Someone did an AMA on reddit that was testing one and in 24 hours from a full charge it was still at 33% when he had to return it. That was enough for me considering most of the current gen watches can barely go 12 hours.

Orders placed last week still show a delivery of 9/4, the new listings that went up today after the announcement are showing a different preorder date of 9/17 instead of the previous 9/2 the previous listing showed. This here is showing all the places you can buy at the moment (seems to be getting updated frequently)
I just ordered it from Amazon as well, $349. I went with this over the Moto 360 2 mainly because of the flat tire thing. I hated it on the Moto 360 1 and thought for sure they would remove that for the new one. With prime shipping I get it on the 18th....

I don't think it has been released yet, it should work with cardboard in the interim though. I'm sure Google will have it on the playtime soon though as they have announced the 10th Nov as the official release date. Let us know what it's like!

Got my Pixel from from Best Buy after returning my Note 7 since they were giving away a free Chrome and $100 GC. I purchased and preordered the Daydream device by itself straight from Verizon.
Came via fedex unexpectedly.

Nope. whenever I try it with cardboard, it asks me to update an app with a link. When I click on the link, it it unavailable in the play store. There is no button to select options with the unit and the remote does not work without the update.
The app has not been released yet
