Wifi MMS not going through - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Anybody else having issues with rooted phones and Wifi MMS(picture/group) on T-Mobile? I cant seem to send or receive MMS messages while I'm rooted. SMS works though.
Now when I flash back to complete stock and locked bootloader, I have no issues what so ever.
I'm compared stock T-Mobile APN with the rooted ones on Lineage, Benzo, and Pixeldust. I've even added my own custom APN mirroring the stock APN, still no go.
The last time I remember this working on a rooted rom, was back on like 7.1 when the one guy that made an awesome pixel rom, just stopped updating...I forget who it was.

You're using Magisk for root right

No MMS (omj 2.2, latest radio/wimax)

Hey. I rooted my friends Evo 4g. And he hasn't been able to get MMS. We rooted it a few days after getting it, so he doesn't remember if it was working when it was stock.
From stock (whatever came stock on the white evo), to the 3 Step Root/Unlock, with flashing the "stock" OTA update, then to OMJ 2.2 w/ latest radio/wimax.
And testing text messages go through, but MMS doesn't at all now. Before it would just say 'unable to download' I tried retyping the MMS info in the Settings, however, they were greyed out and I was unable to actually edit them.

[Q] [VZW] MMS stuck on "sending...", how to resolve?

Hey,
Got this phone of ebay a little while ago and my outgoing MMS worked fine for about a month. The phone has been rooted and seems like it was running a custom ROM. However everything has been fine.
Now when I send a MMS it gets stuck on "sending" and eventually it will say message failed to send.
This is what I've tried:
Deleting the cache for messaging app (stock)
Adding a new Verizon APN
Getting a new sim card
I can receive MMS just fine, doesnt matter if im on 4G/Wifi cant send them out.
I was thinking about trying to flash my radio, or go back to the completely stock phone.
Anyone have any ideas?

I doubt it is a radio. If it was me, I would go back to stock or at least a ROM that you put on there yourself .
I reset to factory and installed my own rom and flashed the radio just to be safe. Everything is working now, thanks for your input!

I need Internet!!!!

Not too long ago i upgraded my phone to zen 4.3 ([ROM][4.3][Dec-2013] AT&T I317-UCUBMK6/MJ4 *Stock* Rooted Odex/De-Odex/Odin) everything worked fine including root as well as wifi, but i had just one annoying problem i was NOT able to use my mobile data. i have been looking for various ways CHANGED Apns, modems, REsort back to other stock rom and back to 4.3 again but to no avail. Now i'm runing ezkat v2.0 everything is great but i'm still facing the problem of no mobile data connection to my phone even though i have a straight talk line on it. I get text message but can't use the group features, can't do anything without wifi T.T Pls help a dying phone come back to life.......Version I317UCUCNE5

MMS dilemma

My MMS will not work no matter what APN settings I use. Background; I have an ATT g3 running unlocked on T-Mobile, everything is working fine save for MMS. I tried a number of different stock based roms including the port of the int. D855 version all with the same result, Data works fine but no mms. So just for kicks I flashed AOSP to the phone and behold, MMS functioned properly. So what would make MMS work on AOSP but not on stock based roms. I used the same APN setting for both systems. Any ideas.
Oh and also ive tried stock roms rooted and not with and without custom recoveries and no xposed so I dont think its a software conflict.

Cellular data stopped working, help

Zenfone 2 ZE551ML on straight talk,
stock ROM 5.0.1 latest release(not beta tester).
have tried resetting APN settings
Have set APN settings to straight talk directed settings.
have multiple disabled and enabled data and disabled data caps from phone.
multiple restarts, multiple attempts to manually choose network with error messages saying cant connect at this time try again later.
AT&T should work just fine even t-mobile LTE service. they both worked a couple days ago.
ive contacted straight talk and they've had me reset and update the APN settings. had me restart the phone a few times, no luck
still receive texts and calls just fine.
any advice would be great. (if i can avoid resetting the phone to factory defaults or installing a custom ROM that would be ideal)
thanks,
I have straight talk and while I never had a problem with data I have had some other problems. Any problems I ever had was solved by dirty flashing the same rom I was running. Since you are on stock you should have no issues downloading .184 LP from ASUS and using stock recovery to update with ADB. On a side note I have been running the MM beta since it first found its way on his site and my service has never been better, don't be afraid to try it.
