You could use Tasker to make the app switch to portrait mode immediately after opening it.

60 fps video recording possible?

I'm currently on the AEX 4.6 ROM. Is it possible to record videos at 60fps at normal speed? The videos are recorded by default at 30 fps and there is no option to change it in the camera app.

Works great, I confirm it takes 42fps in dark room, will try tomorrow in the sunlight. A little buggy, but works. It work even better if you switch the video resolution to 720P

60fps is just a number, the SOC in moto g4 plus is not capable of handling 1080p+60fps realtime, but yes it can handle lower resolution like 720p or 480p at 60fps;
the FPS counter that you are showing is just 1 frame of image is recorded twice i.e. repeated single frame. more like its 1080i then 1080p which user progressive scan rather then
Interlaced scan. to get this effect done your camera app increases the shutter speed lower the ISO that why we re getting that slightly greenish tint.

i smell bull**** there
are you sure that those are actual 60 fps? because i'm pretty sure it's just like that in the ****in meta data of the video.
why my moto g4 plus get freeze a bit meanwhile im takeing picture or recordering on facebook app?
Wont Work...!!
Immediately force closes the camera app...
Is it working on oreo 8.1?
Is not actually "working" anywhere, just a fake.

60 fps video possible?

So we've seen a couple of improvements to the camera since release, most notably with Portrait Mode recently. This is great, but where is the 60fps video? The phone must surely be capable of 1080p60 if it can do 4k at 30fps?
Neither the Razer camera app nor the modded Google Camera app I'm using allow me to select a different frame rate; does anyone know of an alternative app that can shoot higher FPS? I'd shoot 1080p60 all the time over 4k 30fps.

I'll subscribe to this thread, wondering the same thing. I have a feeling it would have to be updated by razer In firmware or some skilled coders here first. Seeing as we have treble, android P maybe? Should get released pretty quick for us!

Nice! thank you for that suggestion. HSR mode doesn't work for me but I only wanted HFR so I'm ok
The hardware doesn't support 4K @ 60 FPS
where do i get the Snap Drag camera?

Thanks . It works flawlessly
It does a pretty good job filming in the dark, indeed. But there seems to be no noise reduction at all in manual mode?
Great. What is the lowest shutter speed available?

• External implementation of noise reduction algorithms require level_3 support of ca2pi.
• Enabling the same isn't in my domain of development nor the developer's.
• A system developer needs to work on camera2api fix on galaxy A50 on system side.
• After that, you can also use my modded Gcam for A50 here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a50/themes/google-camera-samsung-galaxy-a50-t3907288/page15
》How come manual shutter speed is available without camera2api? Why doesn't Google camera work yet ?
• OEM's like Samsung, Huawei etc tend to use their own API's for various purposes over/with Pure Api's from Google.
Hence, even due to limited functionality of pure Api's, various functionalities still can be enabled by Oem's, eg. Manual controls etc.
• Gcam natively requires pure Api's of Google, eg. Camera2api, etc.
Hence there's no other workaround for gcam.
Cheers !
