i780 NO Call waiting tone with HC4 ROM?

I completely flash the 3in1 HC4 ROM yesterday,
but i found that there is no call waiting tone for incoming call when i talking phone with other people.
Anyone have the same issue? or the setting in my phone was wrong ?
I am using the PCCW 3G network in Hong Kong and the operation setting in phone is used "XL"

Just checked that - it's ok on mine, there is a repeating tone during the call for call waiting.
phone/pda rom i780DXHC4

I disable and re-enable the call waiting option, but it still no call waiting tone.

Stupid question maybe, but you do see the incoming call on the screen right?
are you able to switch to it?
maybe it's a SIM or provider issue

Finally perform a hard reset to solve the problem

I used to have the same issue, missed couple of call....on c1...
I managed to figure out, the problem is the callwait.mid does exist but it was a silent midi....
Just fire up registry editor, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallWaiting
change the sound value from callwait.mid value to callwait.wav...
and you can add vibrate by modify the script to av0pw3r,...
btw, no soft reset required....

Ironically, I encountered the same problem just today.
Thank you "Crash74" for solving this for me
This is strange though,
I don't remember having this problem when I first installed this rom (HD1),
but indeed the callwait.mid is silent (as is the busy.mid).
Could it have changed on its own somehow?

Thanks, Crash74. I can hear beep tone now. But, how to make the call waiting alert ring continuously like other phones? It beeps 4 times only.

i have the same problem too, and i checked and found that it is callwait.wav already....so, i think that may be i deleted it(i have no idea), can anyone send the file to me

another pt. is when i called htc centre and they told me that "ALL VERSION" of diamond will have his problem if you use BT, and if you want to solve it then you need to turn off BT and soft reset it. But this seems can't solve my problem

[Black Notes Hybrid 2nd Gen] Vibrate & Sound Problem

Hello Rio,
I've tried black notes hybrid 2nd gen for almost a week.
Very amazed by the performance at the start.
And then i realize that my phone is not vibrate when there is notification.
And notification sound is also very weak.
Any solution to this problem?

Try to manually configure them in settings (maybe the default settings caused the problems).Btw, I haven't encountered any issues with vibration and notification.

yes, i do. i've tried in every possible combination in sound setting.
still no vibrate and the sound still very weak though i already max it.

Try to reflash the rom with full wipe data and cache. Do not restore any system apps.

please tell if u have solved the problem, im considering to flash black note too

so the problem is not in "black notes hybrid gen 2" rom, because after i reflash my phone with stock firmware i still get this problem (sorry for the title )..
it's about bug in the firmware that vibrate config in setting doesn't affect the notification vibrating.
so i get myself sound manager v2 (from market) and change the vibrate settings from there..
and "taadaa" my phone vibrate when there is message or any other notification

[HOW-TO] Increase mic, speaker and headphone max volume

Call *#*#3646633#*#* to enter service mode.
Chose the tab Hardware Testing
Click Audio
Here you can adjust the max volume output for different parts of the system, start with Normal Mode to set the max overall volume. Be careful with the values you set and take a screenshot if you need to restore your values...
P.S! Do i need to say; dont change anything that you are not sure what it will result in!

Is it possible to lower the minimum and increase the maximum brightness?

This thread is about Audio settings, but maybe you can those values also in service mode?
Why don't you go through the setting and Google it, or do someone in here know?

which option is for volume while using earphones? I've tried to increase some values and it just increased my speakers volume not the volume when I plug in my earphones..

This is the only way I have found to reliably increase my volume:
Speaker Boost
I usually set it around 19-21%. Runs in the notification tray and occasionally needs to tap just to restart it.
Worked on stock and currently working fine on Eragon 7.0 alongside Viper4Android.

I had that on Eragon 6.7, the older stock ROMs seemed to work ok, and Eragon 7.0 seems fine too. I could never work put what was stopping it working. All the other volume apps seemed to be abject failures and in some cases downright fraudulent - they just erm....turned your volume slider up!
Are you on stock or Eragon?

When i recive a call or make a call,the phone automatically switch off the ringtones and turn on the vibration mode

Question Custom Ringtone not getting set

Hi All, I tried setting ringtone from local folder. It shows it's set but when called sound is of Mi system ringtone. Interestingly volume setting for ringtone plays local set ringtone. Any tips tricks I missed? Please advice. Thanks

No. I did not got any solution. Have raised issue with MI and got call from them. Have provided debug logs for the issue and hopefully they will revert. Also hopeful that when MIUI 12.5 will roll out, it may have fix. So let's wait for now.

I don't think it will be fixed in miui 12.5 as it is already rolled out in some places. Are you also having that black crush problem in your display in dark mode?
I want that fixed asap man
