Alcatel 5V 32 or 64 bits ROM? - Treble-Enabled Device Questions and Answers

Hi all. I have an Alcatel 5v , with an MT6762 , and a 64 bits proc but with a 32 bits ROM (tipical 64 bits 32 bits mode) . Some app isn't compatible ,and I want to update it to a 64 bit rom. but when downloading the rom I see several options, such as Arm, Arm64 or Arm32binder64, which I believe is the version of my phone. Can I install the 64 bit directly? If I can not and I have to install the arm32binder64 version, will my rom be still 32 bits or 64 bits? the ROM is the Resurrection Remix. Thanks for all

Help 128gb Hydrogen or Helium?

Hi, I have a Mi Max with Snapdragon 652 and 128GB, which is then supposed to be the Helium model...
However in twrp, if I try to flash the MIUI global Beta, it tells me that it's a helium rom, while the device is hydrogen... now i'm a bit confused... could be a TWRP problem?
Thank You
First,mi max have two variants :
-Mi Max "normal" with 3gb/32gb and SD650 called HYDROGEN
-Mi Max Prime with 4gb/64gb or 128gb and SD652 called HELIUM
Second point :
Now Hydrogen and Helium have ONE and ONLY TWRP image : Hydrogen and devs didnt think to precise that now it is safe for both, as both share same "specificities"

ok, sorry, maybe i'm starting to understand... This is my first Xiaomi device, so i'm not so into this MIUI thing.
I thougt the rom should be flashed in twrp, like in my previous devices (oneplus). What are you telling me is to flash the rom via the updater app?
Wait .
For TWRP installer, Hydrogen is the only one for both. I M TALKING ABOUT TWRP INSTALLATION, IMG IS FOR BOTH.
For Rom YOU must référence to this :
If you have 32gb you must flash MiUI for Hydrogen
If you have 64gb or 128b you must flash MiUI for Helium.

Ok, let's try to make things clear... I've got twrp installed, no problem...
I would like to flash MIUI global beta for helium and i was trying to flash it starting from TWRP (as i used to do with my previous, non xiaomi device). At this point the rom won't flash and twrp displays a message saying that the rom i'm trying to flash is Helium, while the device is Hydrogen (which is not true, being a 128gb).
So, I assume I should start the flashing procedure from within the updater app in MIUI, and not directly from recovery, right?
It is really strange.... As I also got a Helium 128gb and Never had this message.... Which version of TWRP do you use ? Latest is 3.1.1-0.
First of all, follow ALL of thèse steps:
download and install latest - you can do it with their official app or with this this
Download MiUI official global dev rom here
Reboot into recovery mode and install the global dev rom

All moto g5 are 32bit with stock roms
There are 64bit custom roms available if you choose to flash them
Obviously you would know if you have flashed such a rom or you can download a device info app from the playstore
Arm = 32bit
Arm64 = 64bit

Look in the Dev section - they are marked 64bit in the title or any custom rom that is android 8 is likely 64bit - read the first post of the rom thread

Need Help to port camera drivers of Qingyou

I flashed the G5s firmware for my Qingyou (xt1799-2) and I picked up some files and hardware drivers from the Qingyou firmware and flashed it in the G5s firmware.
I've managed to make everything work properly, but the front camera can not make it recognize as 16mp, it only recognizes as 4mp.
I tried to change the /system/lib/hw/camera.msm8937.so but this does not open the camera, can you help me solve this bug?
Files I've flashed:

Front camera cannot be 16mp. It is only 5mp in g5s. I think what you see is correct.
Thanks

My cell phone is not the G5s, it's the Qingyou (xt1799-2) and it's practically the same cell phone but the front camera is different, it has 16mp ...
I was able to make the g5s firmware recognize the camera but it does not recognize the 16mp, it only appears as if it were 4mp
The front camera sensor is s5k3p8sp

Thanks so much!
1. If you put the chinese version on there, then is it possible to put any version on there (brasilian, retail, british, etc... etc...)
why do you need to flash the chinese ver?
2. Can you explain exactly where exactly i put this, also do I need to extract it?: 11) Go to recovery and flash MONTANA_RETCN_DRIVERS.zip
3. If I install this firmware, then which ROMs can I install? it seems like most require 8.1.

Yes It is 7.1 nougat... On my xt1799-2 every firmware xt179x(8.1) make my screen dead(i don't understand because) but its happens and i don't haver money to try change the screen... It's boot on 8.1 but screen dead and i don't now If have bugs on wi-fi, nfc, sim card, frontal camera.... I think its is because New bootloader BC.12 or BC.13 i don't remember last version but o flash It and screen dead on Reboot and i can't downgrade It, Motorola sucks...

I think the better approach is that JarlPenguin Or Wiktorek140 compile Lineage 16.0 with Qingyou in mind.
Also.
Maybe don't flash bootloader with it initially, now you should probably downgrade to nougat and start over with earlier Oreo firmwares
Umm, I now have a little more knowledge on liberties and drivers for Android!
Most of them are stored (on lineage 16) under the /vendor/lib and /vendor/lib64
There are a lot of camera related things there
So maybe try copy-paste from stock (system/vendor/lib & system/vendor/lib64)
And see what happens!
Otherwise, the best thing would be compiling from scratch as it will have WAY more things working

Doubts about what version install on my device

Hello, I would like to install a rom in my LG K40s (LM-X430EMW) with Android 9. The problem is that if I check if my device is compatible with Treble or not in Treble Info it says that is compatible and is ARM32 but uses 64bit binder, in the other hand If I check my device compatibility in Treble Check it says that is compatible and uses a CPU with 32 bit ARM. So my question is: What version from here (https://sourceforge.net/projects/andyyan-gsi/files/lineage-17.x/) should I install on my device? I hope you can help me, I attached some screenshots if you need more information. Thank you very much.
