Question for the Epic 4G Touch owners. I just noticed that my haptic feedback on the search button feels different than the other three. It's like a dual vibrate rather than single.
Is this normal?
I'd say so. It happens on mine too

Ok, On the slide to unlock there is this annoying vibrate...... Anybody know how to turn this off or how to edit the system to delete it..... its super annoying!!!
Goto security in settings and untick vibrate on touch.

Vibrate on touch is under the sound menu and has no effect on the "slide" lockscreen.
I quite like it

I don't mind the vibe.... but it's like 2 one when you touch it and one when it unlocks..... I dunno just a bit odd
If you go where I said it will solve your problem.

Nope, vibrate on touch is not in the security option. It is in sound option and it has nothing to do with unlock vibe so I dont know whether you serious or just trolling.
The confusion is with Slide versus Pattern unlock.
With Pattern there IS a Vibrate On Touch option in Security, but it only effects the pattern, not the slider.
(WidgetLocker does have an option to disable Haptic Feedback for the sliders).

My point is that @rbiter is thinking about the pattern, I was pointing out that slider and pattern are different...
Is there an option on developer settings? Think I MIGHT have seen it when playing with the rom.

If there was, i would have found long ago because ive looked all over to disable that dumb vibrate on slide unlock LOL. There is a setting in dev options to show visual feedback for touches but not vibrate. That option is even more annoying haha.
Anyone have any ideas on an issue I'm having?
It just started today. Vibration function is gone. I have sound and vibration checked, and still no go. I haven't done anything fancy like modding system files. I'm on stock rom and rooted.
Haptic feedback and other things which have vibration do not work.
I'm guessing the motor in the phone has died?
Suggestions?
Check: Power saving/haptic feedback.

Try a full system reset/factory reset.

Hey everyone, I was messing around with the LCD test option that shows up on Jelly Bean when you dial *#0*# and I somehow disabled haptic feedback in the whole system. I have it enabled in the standard settings but I killed it somehow...
Anyone know how I can re-enable haptic feedback or am I going to have to do a factory reset?

Nevermind. A quick reboot fixed it.

Hey that sounds like a cool mod. Share, no haptic for me.
Pp.

Where's the option in the setting to turn off haptic feedback?
Sounds and Notifications. Then other sounds. Also on keyboard setting for keyboard.
