Question for the Epic 4G Touch owners. I just noticed that my haptic feedback on the search button feels different than the other three. It's like a dual vibrate rather than single.
Is this normal?
I'd say so. It happens on mine too

I can't seem to get my vibration and haptic feedback to work. Its intermittent and goes in and out. Tried different ROMs and still the same. Hardware issue? On my sixth Inc... dont want another.

I seem to notice it goes out when typing on the keyboard after about sixteen keys more or less. Then comes back randomly. Vibration app i just downloaded works but only if before it goes out.

Just flashed cm7.0.2 and seems like the vibrate feedback when you unlock your phone or when u hit menu is very weak. Almost non existant pretty much. Any way to fix this or does anyone else have this problem??

I feel like an idiot asking this, but is there a way to turn the vibrating off when typing with the Samsung keyboard? I type really fast and it's just annoying. It screws me up half the time because I type so fast. I had the evo 3D before this and on that there was a way to turn the vibrating off.
Thanks.

Disable hepatic feedback? This effects the entire system tho.
I personally use smart keyboard pro. It has many options, one of which is turning off the hepatic feedback on the keyboard only.

I really like the stock keyboard and its autocorrection system is really good, but I hate when it vibrates when I type.

I would search for the thread but search on xda app sucks. My vibration is not working anymore. Haptic feedback is on.

Fixed by searching while on my desktop after school.
"The motor was jammed so I dropped it onto a pillow"
When u say vibration what did u mean. I'm asking cause the 4 buttons on the bottom of my wifes evo, as well as all haptic feedback no longer work. Thinking about taking it to sprint until I read this. What did u have to do and was your situation the same as my wifes
I was wandering if there's any way to durn the vibrate down. I hate how it sounds when it vibrates and shakes against the keyboard. I love my haptic feedback so I don't wanna turn it off. I know its a feature baked into some roms but not in cm10.1
