I just bought a Moto Z Play Droid edition, and i know that i have no opportunity of rooting, so i ask if the substratum app will work with the andromeda app
Also, is there any way to modify the status bar without the power shade app? (It has a lot of bugs)

Sorry i didnt try on lg but was using gravity box on samsung and noticed that status bar tweaks only work for aosp based status bars and not for skinned like samsung and lg other tweaks like navigation bar and others should work. Some of the statusbar tweaks might work but most of em wont.
I didn't test it but from my expirience there is little chance that gravitybox works on any Stock firmware (except pure android firmwares) because of that there is much theming allredy done on statusbar and everything else. Maybe few options will work but most of them won't.

You are right but in most cases only status bar tweaks dont work others work @123xdagsm i have tried enabling navigation bar in samsung and it worked so i assume that the navigation tweaks would work on this phone. Most of the tweaks will work. But another tweak which didn't work on my samsung was ultimate notification control even when i got the pro. Lg and samsung are a bit similar. When compared with xposed modules.
Yes, navigation bar should work, I used no root app from play store for theming and it went fine, can't remember app name tho..
Hi,
Is it possible to change the app menu of Pixel to night theme?
What do you mean by the Pixel's app menu? Can you post a screenshot?
Probably talking about the launcher drawer...
My guess is you're taking about the settings menu. I don't believe you can in stock. However, I'm unlocked running the pure nexus rom and I can theme just about any color I want with substratum.
Substratum works in legacy mode on stock. Need root, certain themes work perfectly eg: swift dark, swift black.. no need for theme ready apps either. Settings, app drawer etc. It's all themed.
Swift dark is basically the old night/dark mode that we used to have in the dev previews. Swift black, self explanatory.
I wasn't able to customize my navigation bar through oneplus 5T Xposed module or substratum.. Can anyone help me out

Me too on stock.. Just reflashed everything and tried.. But nothing worked
@JusThinK. Are you using another 3rd party app ???. I am on OOS 5.0.3 and there is nothing new compared OOS 4.*
No im rooted
Anyone have anything other than Awesome Navbars working? Be nice to add color to icons. Stock 5.0.3, rooted here.

Use substratum. Search play store for "substratum navbars" and pick any of them.
Substratum nav bar themes have never worked for me on this phone. I'm stock Oreo rooted without Andromeda. I tried the Awesome Navbar app, had to sideload it, it's not on the play store from what I can tell. The theme compiles correctly but nothing changes. Advice from those that got this to work?
Hi Everyone
Sorry if this question has been asked before but Is there any kind of like universal app that gives you some decent rom customization options.
In the past alot of the roms I have used (2 I can think of off the top of my head are Superman rom and Omega rom)
have come with a really nice simple sister app for the rom that give you a load of options to change little things like notification bar icon colours, quick tiles colours, battery icon etc.
But most of the s9 roms don't seem to include anything like it, I have tried substratum, a theme creator app and swift installer but they all just seem like a ball ache and nothing comes out looking good compared to how easy I could customize my s7 edge with the included superman rom settings app.
Anyway I'm using SoLdier rom at the moment i love the rom but just wish it had a handy little app with some sertings to olay with too, I did look at Crdroid as I think that has an app to go with it but I'm worried I'm going to loose my Samsung experience and iris scanner functionality if I install Crdroid instead.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Cheers ?
Well I know you can get most of the customizing features from Xposed. Most of the extra features from Superman rom and Resurrection remix are all features you can get from xposed apps like GravityBox and flatstyle bar indicators.

Oh yer I probably should have mentioned I'm aware of xposed and have used it alot in the past but i really like Google Pay and online banking and when I tested xposed on this device I couldn't pass magisk safety net
But thanks for your input ?
I've been using Substratum for a couple of years, and I've never had the engine soft brick a device until now. For anyone interested, Swift Substratum theme works really well on Pie OOS.
There's a theme engine that uses Swift as it's base, so if you've already purchased Swift Theme, don't purchase Swift Theme Engine.
If you want to use Substratum, use Pie compatible themes and don't use Clean-Locksreen or Curve for now with this beta build.

Do you happen to know any theme that has centered clock and works with OB20? Ozone theme doesn't work with pie and I'm doubtful that it will get updated since the last update was months ago...
I really miss centered clock

You'll probably have to wait for Xposed to become available for Pie. Funny thing, on Oreo, everyone was asking for mods to put clock on left side, and now you want centered clock on Pie. Options, options, options, don't you love Android.
