Hi,
Is there anyway unlocking TDD-LTE Band 40 on US unlocked Google Pixel Model G-2PW2100?
Model G-2PW2200(International Version) does support B40.

So I'm receiving a N3 as a gift from China but it's the N5207 and I live in the US with AT&T.
From my understanding AT&T, uses band 4 (1700+2100) and band 17 (700) but the Oppo N3 only has 1700 (without 2100) as seen on the back of this box from:
Is it possible to unlock the band 4 via this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-unlock-aditional-bands-qualcomm-t2877031
I'd figure they would since OPO and OPPO are kinda the same company but here the community manager explicitly states that the different version of the R5 are hardware differences in the bands:

Maybe it's a bit late... But have you tried OppoTools?
Hi, I have a China Unicom version of M8, which is compatible with both 3/4G of China Unicom and China Mobile.
While now I am in the US and use a T-Mobile SIM, I wonder,
1) Can I change it to a T-Mobile version such that I can then use T-Mobile 4G LTE networks?
I currently can only access T-Mobile 3G networks (HSPA+). I checked that the China Unicom version M8 support FDD-1800/2100MHz 4G LTE band (according to HTC-China official site), while T-Mobile's 4G frequency includes Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz) (according to T-Mobile official site). It seems it should be compatible.
2) I currently cannot receive any Wireless Emergency Alerts message, is it because my phone is of China Unicom version? Then can I receive these messages by change my M8 with a T-Mobile Rom?
Thank you very much for your reading this thread and kind help.
up up up and up~~~
Hello. Does the LG K8 prepaid phone come unlocked? domestically or internationally or both or none? Thanks.
The that device is unlocked but it isn't a world phone and it can only be used in the United States. ^Andria
Hi thanks for that reply. But in saying that if it is unlocked and it is used overseas on a 2g or 3g or 4g band that the phone supports it should work?
It's unlocked for use with another U.S. service provider but it can't be used abroad because it doesn't have world phone capability. ^Andria
What I can't figure out is does she mean its domestically unlocked but internationally locked? ( that wouldn't make sense would it?)
Or is she clueless or trying to bs me in how I said about the frequencies?
Lol.
She means it doesnt have the bands that support overseas countries.

From gsmarena lg k8 bands:
2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100
4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800)
In my country we have:
2g: 900/1800
3g: 850/2100

Moto G7 Play Single-SIM version (US model) has band 12 & 71 enabled. Dual SIM version ("International Model") unfortunately does not. Assuming the hardware is the same in all variants, what is the scope to enable Band 12, Band 71 and maybe even 5GHz WiFi on the Dual SIM version?
I believe it's by software variant and baseband which you cannot change.

After a little research, seems the solution is to set the appropriate bits in LTE_BC_CONFIG using QPST/QXDM. Could it be that straightforward?
Thanks for any tips!
