Hello,
I bought an Honor 7c few days ago, which comes with Android 8.0 Out of the Box.
Now I would like to test it with GSI and Android 9.0.
Is this generally possible, due to it comes with 8.0 and treble or is there something additional needed?
Unlock bootloader on huawei/honor is no problem I think

Since the 4X and 5X all have Lineage support it might be possible to bring lineageos to Honor 6X too.
Thx in advance

Hopefully this is what you need.

Despite Huawei devices supporting treble, the OS isn't built to be treble compatible, Huawei release the entire OS including vendor and bootloader in an update, so, while you could flash the system image, it won't boot since it will need a Huawei vendor, obviously this could be ported, but it's a lot of effort.

I want to install custom rom lineage os on redmi note 8 pro version (begonia) but i didn't found any official os for the phone. Had xda devs had developed unofficial os for redmi note 8 pro (begonia) ? I had twrp installed on phone.
MediaTek's drivers are closed source...
Most likely, there will never be roms for this device

And It might be safe to assume that LOS along with a few other custom ROMs are right around the corner now that initial development had yielded some positive results in terms of four good ROMs. Be patient.
You could try the Lineage OS 17.1 GSI. It works perfectly fine on this phone (for me at least). Just have to apply a few fixes that are listed on this phone's section in the Phh-treble wiki then it's all smooth sailing from there. There are also some custom roms available already but they are in their beta stages and don't work as well for a daily driver. I would give you a link but I cannot post links at this time.
hi I would like to ask when more or less we could see Android 11 on Mi A2 Lite
I think Xiaomi dropped support for this device and the Android One program, so most likely won't receive any major updates moving forward.

Of course it's possible that android 11 will appear in custom ROMs, but android one will only give security updates since mi A2 lite already had 2 major updates (android 9 and 10)
