hi, i want to know if is possible to install stock roms of others phone that have treble, i want to install a EMUI rom from HUAWEI devices, i know that have some HUAWEI devices that have treble like,

Honor 9

etc... is this possible?(My phone is a REDMI NOTE 4 WITH UNOFFICAL TREBLE)

Despite Huawei devices supporting treble, the OS isn't built to be treble compatible, Huawei release the entire OS including vendor and bootloader in an update, so, while you could flash the system image, it won't boot since it will need a Huawei vendor, obviously this could be ported, but it's a lot of effort.

There are thousands of such websites. I can make a website and write that all Huawei phones will get Android O update. Would you believe it? Lol.
I doubt that Huawei is gonna update our Nova to Oreo. And if they do it, people will have to make a TWRP backup of EMUI 5 since Huawei doesn't publish a rollback update :laugh:.
Agree with Henkate... NO OREO for Nova/Nova-plus yet announced for our device .....

You can use Firmware Finder to check and download.
By wonder i put my device name is caz tl20
I got many romes how should i know if is international means global?
Also as i see my device rom version is CAN L12 what im doing ? What to flash ? Please help

can l12 is not the only thing you have to check.... there are more numbers to take note like CxxxBxxx and the CUSTC number...
all of those are in phones settings

then in firmware finder,you check your version and published date

ROM is a MODIFYED firmware... and if you see ROOT somewhere in the install proceidure,you can be shure its not an OFFICIAL FIRMWARE
if a page ask you to dload and install an upgrade apk...thats BS.....its probably a spyware/bloatware/****ware/crawler or what so ever....
wanna test ?
go on that page you linked to...click on the upgrade link and youll see some of the ****ware appear :silly:

If your device is stock,let it do its thing by itself ( updates)...
If youre rooted...well... Good luck to get updates...well not to get but,install them

Hello. It is possible to port the emui 9 to be treble rom for older huawei devices (mate 10 lite,y7 prime 2018)?
P-smart 2018 has the very similar components (the same cpu like mate 10 lite etc.) so its may be easy to port emui 9 from this device to mate 10 lite?

yes , as long as it's not beta and it's stable official and has fastboot rom. don't try to flash beta on mtk devices xiaomi already warned rn 8 pro users about it , even if it's stable beta , it's better to wait also xiaomi warned about messing with rn8 pro firmware.

But, you can install china beta rom over twrp, but its only english lang and of course china lang.
