Hello Developer Redmi Note 5A (Ugglite)
Since i already found the source of android oreo rom for this phone so i want to ask when the android oreo rom will be released?

released, camera bug still annoying

The big problem is HAL camera no fixed ,dev have no fixed , is very hard without oreo official for fix .

We are very disappointed because the Redmi Note 5A cannot get the Android version of Oreo, if indeed the Redmi Note 5A (ugglite) cannot be Android oreo! why should it be released?

the redmi 5a and the redmi 4
without already going through android oreo and android 9
while the redmi note 5a is blocking because of his **** camera

Yeah it's really BUG disappointment

Please fix camera or otherwise give the beta link
First of all the rom porting is not very easy but I request to you guys to fix the camera ASAP or otherwise give the link without Camera I should Try It Once ??:angel:

No oreo rom fix developement is abandonned but lineage 16 pie beta is fixed and camera is work ...

is possible install stock rom of other phone with treble?

hi, i want to know if is possible to install stock roms of others phone that have treble, i want to install a EMUI rom from HUAWEI devices, i know that have some HUAWEI devices that have treble like,
Huawei Mate 9
Huawei Mate 9 Pro
Honor 7X
Honor 8
Honor 9
Huawei P10
etc... is this possible?(My phone is a REDMI NOTE 4 WITH UNOFFICAL TREBLE)

Despite Huawei devices supporting treble, the OS isn't built to be treble compatible, Huawei release the entire OS including vendor and bootloader in an update, so, while you could flash the system image, it won't boot since it will need a Huawei vendor, obviously this could be ported, but it's a lot of effort.

You got to unlock bootloader, install twrp and than you can install a custom ROM like miui10 or 11 ported from 6 pro (sakura) to mi A2 lite (Daisy) take a look here

Don't try flashing MIUI on this device. When the device first came out, some smart people tried it and bricked their devices, rendering their devices useless until a fix came up. Use the MIUI ports in the ROMs section if you're such a fan of MIUI. Cheers.

Can somebody conform me that its possible or safe to flash the official MIUI 12 rom available in XDA on the Indian variant Note 8 pro? Because the rom has mentioned as begonia which is a global variant firmware. I need to clarify so that things don't turn bad.

yes , as long as it's not beta and it's stable official and has fastboot rom. don't try to flash beta on mtk devices xiaomi already warned rn 8 pro users about it , even if it's stable beta , it's better to wait also xiaomi warned about messing with rn8 pro firmware.

But, you can install china beta rom over twrp, but its only english lang and of course china lang.

Looks unlikely. Xiaomi dropped support for Android One so it means they will not fulfill those obligations anymore. Also drivers are buggy on stock ROM so custom ROMs will need improved drivers but without source code I don't see it advancing much if any. I would probably start moving onto other devices.
