I have a cello android smart tv with 4.4.4 KITAT and want to up date it to a newer one, I contacted cello to see if there would be or have any and was told no for my model is there a generic android 6/7 that I could update to or any custom apks for cello smart?
bost this old post but i have the cello 4.4.4 update on a pen drive. they sent me it out but very interested in getting it updated to 7 like there newer models or an android tv port if anyone is clued up to help

Did you by anychance come into contact with anyone about the update of your TV ? I have a Ferguson 65fpanstmt and it's Android but behind on what it could be I know it

Who releases a brand new app that doesn't work with the newest OS? Is it not normally the other way around? Make sure it works on the most up to date and if it's backwards compatible then great....
I'm gonna have a look and see if it'll go with blue stacks later but I doubt it. Can anyone pull the apk off the market to test please?

I use my Gnex as my test phone - I've managed to get it to work by downgrading to ICS and hiding root.. now need to figure a way to mirror my display to my pc.. any ideas?

Getting a 'your phone is not supported message' when I try to watch anything, gonna have to wait till they allow S3s, pretty annoying given they already support S2s.

I get the same with the hox, I've tried hiding root but that doesn't help.

I might be the only one using this constellation but I have a fitbit one tracker that should support i9300 Bluetooth synching. It looks like this support is limited to official Android 4.1.2 ROMs or any adaptions of those. CyanogenMod ROMs do not work. Anyone got a 10.0 or 10.1 nightly for the i9300 running with their FitBits ?
Same here. Fitbit sync worked with stock and also worked with SynergyROM but doesn't work with CM10.
I am having the same issue. My question is does the CM10 not support low-power Bluetooth (4.0)? Or is the Fitbit app checking the phone version somehow. If the latter is the case, we should be able to forge the signature on the phone config to be a standard GS3.
What do you think?

+1 for this fix, I love the FitBit App on my stock Samsung Galaxy S3 (TMO) and would love to have the syncing working on CM. I'm running 10.2-20130401-NIGHTLY-d2tmo right now.
Bump for the inclusion of BT 4.0 driver stack into CM.

I love CM but I've also been running a stock derivative so I can sync my Fitbit One. I'm not familiar with Androids insides, but wouldn't it be possible for Fitbit to implement their own Bluetooth stack in software and bypass the stock stack for syncing. I realise you would still need a device with Bluetooth 4.0 hardware, but theoretically there would be many other handsets that could then sync, not to mention all of us modders out there. If this is possible, then perhaps we could ask Fitbit for support.
Nothing useful with this post, i just wanted to say that I would also like this to possibly happen in the future. I know the next android update 4.3 is bringing this feature, so perhaps it may not be long at all..

+1 for possible fix/workaround. Would be nice to get the sync with the Fitbit Flex back - great feature, shame to lose it on non-stock ROMs.

I've been in contact with Cookoo quite a lot to get the thing working on jfltexx/OMNIROM. Just suggested they use XDA to make there apk updates available to us lot. I'm waiting now to receive the update from january 9th...

Sorry, lost my eye on this topic.
I already sold the Cookoo.
It lost connection to often (for example in the car when my carkit connects) and starts beeping.
Mostly fail on reconnect wich ends in pairing it 2 or 3 times a day.
Also doesn't offer custom notification support. I don;t use the stock email because of lack on HTML support and I use a 3rd party app (about 100 mails a day) and can't use the Cookoo with that.
besides that it was to thick to combine with a business suit. I wear 700-1500 dollar suits and it looks like a carnaval watch under it.
Now bought myself a Tommy Hilfiger "normal" watch

any app that requires google play services will not work, however if you install gapps, it will work. so 99% of the apps compatible with 4.1.2 will work.
Thank you for the replay but I was wondering about Kitkat 4.4 and not that much from the apps than the phone.If the OS is working properly, I read somewhere that the notifications does not work and the compass etc etc. My idea is if I can use a normal working android phone with Kit kat 4.4 but I need to know if this is gonna work if not I would buy another brand.

KK will work but it will be less performant then JB 4.2.2 or earlier. thats because the gpu (adreno 200) dosent support 4layer composition.
notifications do work. they do appear in the notification shade or in fastlane. i tried it on emulator back in pre release days.

As per title. Just got myself a brand new M8 and trying to decide if I install either a Sense 8 ROM, or one of the various 7.1 ones. A big deal for me is airplay, so I'd like to kindly ask - does the airplay functionality in HTC Connect work with aftermarket ROMs? If so, how did you get it to work?
