Verizon S9+ to Sprint? Flashing? - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

S9+ from Verizon to Sprint
Hey guys, if I missed this already apologies in advance. You can see from my details I been around a long time, but haven't dove in for a bit. I have an S9+ from Verizon I wanted to port to Sprint. Now, I know the S8 worked like a champ, and the S9 don't work at all. Can I flash Sprint firmware and get it running? Through ODIN? I've been out of the game for a while, and I see hints, but I thought I would ask the experts and be sure.
Thanks in advance.

well, sheep sheet

Probably not. Sprint has to have the device meid in their database for activation.

[Q] Can i flash his phone im about to buy to a prepaid service?

Hello, im failry new to flashing phones to other carriers. The only thing i have is the slightest idea of rooting and that is with my old ZTE warp. I was looking into buying a Samsung Galaxy S3. I was wondering if i bought the "SPRINT SAMSUNG GALAXY S III 3 SPH-L710" could i flash it so i can use straight talk or boost mobile on it? If anyone could link me to a source, it'll be much appreciated.
I think it can be flashed to boost. I'll see if I can find the link.

[Q] Nexus SCH-I515 on Boost Mobile?

I am looking at getting a Samsung Galaxy Nexus SCH-I515 but want to run it on Boost Mobile. The reading I have done is contradictory (can activate any cdma phone and Verizon is excluded) I was just hoping someone here could give a definitive (ish) answer. Can this phone be activated through boost? BTW customer service was semi unclear to me as well, saying information that is contradicted in their own Web page... Which is why I am here. Thanks in advance.
If its anything like using Virgin Mobile, I had to "trick" the phone into thinking that it was a different device. I know that a few mom and pop shops around will do the work for you. My friend has an AT&T phone running on Net10, which is basically the same network.

I haven't decided whether to take a chance or not. I might just get an approved device (seems to be what the company wants anyways) I'll try to let you guys know. Thanks again.

★PLEASE HELP★ Network unlock Sprint S8+ running T-Mobile F/W

A friend picked up an Sprint S8+ but he's on T-Mobile so I flashed TMO f/W on it for him, however am having a bit of trouble getting the network unlock done.... Should I be trying to unlock it as a Sprint S8+ or as a T-Mobile S8+? And more to the point, I'm obviously trying to do it free if possible.
*If I overlooked the answer in another post somewhere, I apologize...I just couldn't seem to find this exact scenario/answer in any of the threads about swapping firmwares.
I'd appreciate any help you guys can give.
Thanks in advance!
Wrong area, but if you flash it back to Sprint, I can unlock it for you if you send it to me. PM me for more info, I have a store in the Bay Area where I would do it, if you're in the area you can just drop by.

Help flashing t-mobile firmware to SM-G9600 (international unlocked)

Hi all,
I recently purchased a galaxy s9, model SM-G9600. I have never flashed a phone before so I'm quite new to this all. The problem with this phone is that it has no wifi-calling option in the settings. I currently have my t-mobile sim card in it. I've tried looking all over for an outside solution to this or if it is possible to just flash the proper t-mobile firmware to be able to get the wifi-calling option in the phone. I cannot seem to find a concrete answer/directions as to how to solve this. I was wondering if anyone could help me find a concrete answer and/or point me in the right direction.
Thank you in advance!
Hiya bud. Well the answer I'm gonna give is one you probably won't enjoy much, but no one else responded sadly.
I'm pretty sure that the wifi calling option will only work if you're on the correct calling network (I believe only tmobile branded for that software ).
I could be wrong though and the calling may work for other carriera, but I just thought I'd warm though ahead of time on your quest for the holy grail in case anyways.. If things work out better for you, then definitely let us know!
Cheers bud!!
Did you get it to work?

Help Flashing ATT U Firmware on T-mobile S20+ SM-G986U

It has been a while since I've spent time on XDA. I haven't flashed a phone since the HTC One M7. I had to switch carriers from T-mobile to AT&T not long after I had purchased the S20+ for T-mobile. Most of the features work on AT&T, but I'm lacking the VoLTE, Wifi Calling, and Visual Voicemail that I would really like to get working. Can someone recommend an up to date guide that can safely guide me through the process, I'm sure its not that complicated, but I have been away from the scene for a while and I really don't want to end up with a bricked device or accidentally pop an e-fuse (if thats still a thing).
I appreciate any help, advice, or direction that anyone can provide.
