Just to let you know. Tested in several browsers. Also applies to the 2013 Beta theme. Clearing cache does not change this - it's not a local browser issue but something with the theme files or its config on your server.
All other themes still look good.

In fact, it is there, invisible, but if you click on the very edge of the screen, it'll check the 7th day and you'll see a portion of the sphere.
Just lacking a bit of polish .

There it is ! lol not just a bit Ty
Maybe they have fixed it in colorOS 2.0.
They definitively fixed it in v2.0.
Sent from my X9006 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
This bug comes from the Find 5 ColorOS beta, one day (1.05i beta) they changed the behavior (from popup with weekdays you could select) to the new numbers format. But there is a misstake because many languages are longer weekdays/wochentage than the original you will lose some numbers.
I hope they will switch back to the old working style! Currently on the newest Find 5 beta its still this way.
Any chance that one of you Android L folks would be able to port the new Calendar app? Its pretty.

Can't just update to Android L? I'm assuming you have a N7 since you're posting in our thread
Yessir. I suppose i COULD just upgrade. But if the APK is out there and it works, I'd rather not. That's all.

The new Google Calendar apk file is there - I've downloaded and installed it on to my 9192 S4 Mini - looks nice, but then so does the New GMail app as well - apk file got off the net, Probably would be nicer on the Nexus 7 2013 with Lollipop.
Here you go

Hi!
It's a known issue. I can't exactly remember, but I believe it has something to do with a glitch when using one of the mobile apps.

If it's not mobile.... I'm not sure. But yes... Well known issue.
Perhaps someone will jump in with another idea where it comes from.

Drop list don't work anymore (for example, the Notifications tab at the top right now points to the control panel instead of showing a drop list with the options, and stuff like the smilies on the message aren't clickable.

All that stuff works for me, and XDA 2013 is all I use. However, I use the version without the sidebar (XDA 2013 Beta - 1024), so you should probably try that one and see if that version's bugged for you, too.

Same problems with XDA 2013 Beta- 1024, I tested others (classic / 2011 / 2015) and they work fabulous, the only problem is with 2013 versions and since today..
more sympthons:
- quick reply button doesn't work
- BBCODE buttons (for putting bold tags and such) don't work either, the entire buttons bar are non-clickable images.
- smile icons don't work, are like static images
This seems like javascript was broken on this 2013 version or something like this, because it happens with this one and doesn't happen with any other version.
Using Firefox 38.0.1, but updated it days ago and didn't change anything recently on the browser, so it must be some server stuff.
Thanks for the help!
Hmmm. Well, all of those functions work great for me. I'm using Opera Mini 7.6.35766 as my browser, if that helps.
@bitpushr, will you look into this, please?
This drove me crazy... tried updating Java | Java for Mac OSX | And some previous versions of Java even!!
Even went on a mission to check if Javascript was updated!
Tried with NPAPI enabled / disabled on Chrome.
Got the same symptoms as of 2 days now:
- Go to new post doesn't work.
- Can't quick edit (it auto jumps to advanced)
- Quick links also sends me to the main forum page.
- Can't add smilies | tags | urls and any of the buttons on the new post / reply work.
Tried it on Chrome and Firefox (either on Mac OSX 10.10.X and Windows XP).
Didn't try on Safari but tried with all Extensions disabled and same thing happened!
Thanks!
Anything I can try, please quote me and I'll quickly reply!
EDIT: With the 2015 theme, everything works.
Note: Tried the XDA 2013 and the XDA 2013 beta - 1024, and both derps out.
Edit 2: But I can't understand XDA with this theme, I'm so used to 2013 I just can't read!

Did you change anything on your PC or just out of the blue it started to work?

OK (lol)
Just tried changing it to 2013 beta - 1024 and at first it didn't work, but after clearing cache and cookies... IT'S ALIVE!! 2013 theme once again works! :victory: :victory:
Aaand the theme is bugged again, same problem
I just tested some of the features that were stated broken before, they seemed to work for me.
From the description it sounds like a javascript problem on the page, if you see them again can you check the web console to see if there are any javascript errors?
I was using the 2013 theme bugged still (and I had cleaned cookies and such) and it was still bugged. Now that you said that, I changed to 2015 theme and went back to 2013 and voilá it works.. what the hell? If it was already fixed why when I logged in today after cleaning cookies I still had the problem?
This is so strange... but thank you! :good:
In my particular case, it happened now that the arrow gif to the right of the "Notifications: X" didn't appear. It now appears to be this one:
http://cdn3.xda-developers.com/images/misc/menu_open.gif
But I think the problem may be that I hadn't access to that gif before or something like that, because I remember the other time I had way more problems (when posting and such, half the page didn't work, aka js problems) but now it happened to be only that damn arrow not appearing.. which confused me thinking all the problems were back.
Maybe there are problems with that gif or something?
The theme is bugged again today, wtf?
Aand its fixed back today.

Yeah but Andromeda is an add-on to make substratum work. I have to stay plugged into my comp for it to work though. Once I set theme I'm good to go though.

Well I guess having to plug in to set the theme isnt so bad...
I ran into this problem yesterday and all I did was just ran the Andromeda script two times in a row and waited about 10 seconds and it was fine. Both Substratum and Andromeda have been updated since then so it may have just been a bug. The substratum app works great although there are some themes that apparently still require root to use (status bar changes like moving the clock to center). Over all im very happy with the results. Using Sai's Oreo black/teal theme and love it. Big thanks to those who made this possible
Yeah, it's still on the XDA Portal front page.
Is this just for unrooted? Substratum works fine rooted

yeah, this is for unrooted devices.
Yeah been using it since release, works like a dream for me. Don't have to stay plugged in myself either, only a reboot requires a re-run of the andromeda desktop client.
I started using it today but having the same issue with it only working while plugged to the PC. I tried it at least 5-6 times and ran it back to back, still goes to not authorized once I unplugged. But I like the theme so far and everything seems ok for now after I rebooted.

I've been trying it out.
Which black theme hasn't the fewest unintended UI issues? Black themes are nice, but it bugs me when I get white on white text, or my Keep note colors are messed up. I haven't yet tried Swift Black as everyone seems to love it, but I want one that just works. I don't have a ton of time for experimentation.
I'm also not interested in changing the look too much outside of coloring, like Substratum DAN does with all it's fonts and ugly (imo) color themes.
Swift black is the best black theme I found so far. Pitch black seems to be actively worked on but Google now home had black on black issue. Only issue with Swift black was inbox shows a white background once opening an email but it might not be the app's fault.

That's themed using Compound theme in the Play Store from Daniel Schott.
Do they have it working for Chromebooks? Where I can plug my Pixel XL to my Chromebook?
