Can't just update to Android L? I'm assuming you have a N7 since you're posting in our thread
Yessir. I suppose i COULD just upgrade. But if the APK is out there and it works, I'd rather not. That's all.

The new Google Calendar apk file is there - I've downloaded and installed it on to my 9192 S4 Mini - looks nice, but then so does the New GMail app as well - apk file got off the net, Probably would be nicer on the Nexus 7 2013 with Lollipop.

I have Note 3 and i cant wait to explore and use the new dialer. i tried to look everywhere, but no sign of it. all what i could find, i already installed from the 4.4, except for the contact\dialer.

Maybe because it's parte of google services and it's not open source... Just a thought.

naaa it an android app, not an outside service. i dont think its going to be unique to the 4.4, its a core of the 4.4 to bring phone contact with other google services, in one app.
ai am sure something can be done, i just dono how ....

why u posted on N4 forums to start off? now that you are here just get the N5 port go to system/priv-app or system/app and grab from there.
(Remember dont install just copy and set perms).

It was posted but nobody could get it to work so it was pulled. It relies on 4.4 framework

I updated with this article (http://www.xda-developers.com/feature/google-updates-10-29-2014) my google apps and when i opened google camera i found this new layout with "sequence" and "scenes" on top and not with dragging from left or right! Has everyone the same or it's just my phone?
I'm currently on PA 4.6 beta 5

I don't know man... both on my father's N5 stock and my mother's phone (Galaxy S+) with cyanogenmod 11 there's nothing and it's updated to the last version too! :/

Yeah, what's with that? 720p on a 1440 screen. Does the Nexus 6 get 1440? How about the G3? Is Google hatin' on the N4?

I guess YouTube doesn't like the Note 4. A few threads on it in the general and Q&A section. Think like 10 steps to get it to work. LoL. Guess we need to ***** to them.

Also make sure you delete any other previous Youtube stuff installed
*Reboot/Install ... Enjoy ....
Went through some debugging and to be more precise, the Xposed conflicting module is:
YourTube
YouTube AdAway seem work just fine and so does YouTubeAllowFullScreen HDMI.
Eventually the developer of Yourtube will update soon.
Most of Lollipops changes and design is a good refresh from what KitKat offered. Most of you may dislike it at first but personally, I'm finally glad to see changes from the old 4.0.

I personally like changes too, but it's personal. Just like women, cars and pretty much everything else

They rely on Samsung specific frameworks. It's possible, but it'd be quite an undertaking as it would require a lot of work from what I understand.
You'd be better off finding a substratum theme.

I just pulled the Pixel Launcher APK from the O Preview DP3 system.img if anybody wants to use it. I uploaded DP2 a couple days ago just to have DP3 come out a day later. So here is DP3. Notification badges don't work in Nougat, so the only major change is the new look for long-press popup.
Also, the clock app has been recolored. I prefer that so I'm uploading that if anybody wants to use it.
UPDATE: As mentioned, here is the camera app. This version doesn't seem to have any improvements as far as performance. It does have ever include a slightly different shutter button and a new button to switch to video.
Also, my attachments are getting too large, so I'm moving them to AFH

Yes, it'll overwrite the old Pixel Launcher. Sorry for the late respso. This will act like an update and just update the current app

I use Textra. The setup came from a basically stalk setup with with the old Google Now Launcher, and I've been too lazy to change it:laugh:
