[Samsung Galaxy A5] Is there any way to root at this time? - Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 (2017) Questions & Answe

Hello.
I'm fairly new to rooting and I was looking around here for a rooting tutorial. I found this guide but I'm unsure if it still works.
Is there any way to root at this time, with all new updates installed already?
Thank you.

[Q] Installing Themes - Help needed

Hello all. First off, I have searched around but either I'm terrible at searching or I'm asking a completely stupid question.
I would love to install a theme for my Inc, but it is not rooted. So, is rooting required to use themes?
If not, where can I find instructions on how to do it and are only certain themes usable for non-rooted phones?
I'm so confused.
I too have this same question....

[Q] Help! Info in rooting...

Hey guys, I've updated my Note 2 N7105 to 4.3. I have been searching around on how to root and found nothing on my build (XXUEML3). Is the rooting procedure universal or specific to a type of build? And what are known issues to arise when you root? I've got a few apps that needs root access. Any info would help.

[Q] Noob proof rooting

Hi,
I just received my first smartphone and am really excited about it Aaaand ... I'm totally new to Android and the whole rooting & Custom firmware process
I want to root to Backup my TA before unlocking BL and was looking at zxz0O0's guide. There are now quite a few versions of the z1c dual recovery from NUT. I am on Android 4.3. Can I simply use the latest version?
Thanks a lot!
latest version is appropriate 2.7.99 (not tried it yet) as I rooted mine before KK came using 2.7.95
perfect, thanks for the information. Will give it a try and hope not to brick anything

I think it's safe to say that version 2.7.97 does not properly work so make sure to not use that version.

[Q] Towelroot

Hello big guys.
I'm a noob when it comes to roots and roms on phones.
I have been using the offical touchwiz still and is a little interested in rooting the phone and installing cyanogenmod to make it work faster.
I've read that there is a one click method to root called towelroot right now, I want to try it because I don't really understand how to root with other ways on the forum.
And I'm wondering if anyone has tried it before so I can use it and move on to the next step of flashing a custom rom.
Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately Towelroot doesn't support this device yet. I tried earlier today
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2623635 this is the link to the everything thread for the captivate glide. They have root instructions there, and they're pretty straightforward
Good luck!
