Just talked to LG support.
My carrier have both wificaling and volte but i have no settings for it.
Turns out the carriers have to pay for the licens and my carrier havet got this licens for lgg7 and dont plan to get it.
So if u live in Sweden and use Tele2 you are out of luck.

I just got a korean lg g3 unlocked f400k and it won't pickup lte on Att i got a go phone sim in it could that be the reason? Any ideas on what to do to fix it? Any help would be appreciated this is my first android phone
It probably does not support the LTE bands that AT&T uses to operate it's network on.
Do you have the correct apn? I thought other people was saying that the f400 was compatible with AT&T

Gophone does have lte support. Google att apn settings. I had the f400k and was using it with att and got lte. Keep in mind that the variant you have doesn't have a lte icon. It just says 4g. I did a speed test to confirm I had lte

I have LG G4 F500L model (and I guess it is the South Korean model).
Could you please let me know how can I select network options like 2g, 3g, 4g in the settings. I can't find such options.

I bought my s9+ from Best Buy and threw in my AT&T sim... everything works (though my signal seems weaker than my iPhone had) except for there is no advanced calling menu. I'd like to enable HD calling and WiFi calling if possible. Does anyone know of a way to do so?
Thanks!

I should note I searched the s8 forum and I couldn't find anyone who successfully did it on last year's model, either. Hoping for the best though!

apparently if you flash the carrier's firmware (assuming you bought the unlocked version of the phone) then you can get the wifi calling features for that carrier. There are a bunch of threads that have d/l links you can check out and ask in-depth questions about it.
HD calling is standard, and is enabled by default on the unlocked version, it's just called voLTE calling instead of HD calling.
Thabks so much for the info. One follow-up - Am I supposed to have a setting somewhere for VoLTE? I searched settings and don't see it anywhere.

What firmware version do you have? Mines c185 no volte. It drops from 4g LTE to 4g when placing a call.
Edit. Just thrown a curve ball. Made another phone call in the same house and the 4g LTE remained. Weird?

Have you checked your APN's? It may be missing some additional APN's that are linked to VoLTE

All s20 on sprint are currently being forced VoLTE you can't take that off anymore. Since they are using our phones to test t-mobile network too since t-mobile bought sprint, they are changing alot of network related things right now.
erm, forget about volte, what's with the font. Joke! Looks like sprint has locked you as VOLTE always on. I'm using a UK exynos model on THREE and I can toggle it on or off...
