Another noob question - Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hey there everyone. I was just wondering if it is possible to install a recovery rom from an sd card when in download mode. I'm mainly wondering because my Note 7 won't connect to my computer, or boot into recovery mode. Thanks in advance for any help!

I deleted the os using twrp (not on purpose of course) and I cannot flash the stock rom back onto the phone because Odin nor my computer will recognize my phone not even as a mtp device. I can't get past the Samsung galaxy s iii screen. I can get into recovery and download mode but that's it nothing else. I seriously need help!! I have to save my phone :crying:

get yourself a micro sd card and download a compatible ROM. you can mount the external sd in twrp, flash the ROM, wipe data/cache reboot.

[Q] Please Help: Boot Loop after recovery. How do I go back to stock???

Hi guys,
Keep in mind: I don't know what I'm doing. I only know what tutorials say, and I don't really understand the mechanics of flashing ROMs.
Problem: I'm in a boot loop. I want to go to stock, or CM11 4.4.2 . I was recovering data after flashing CM 11 4.3 (CM installer) successfully.
I have TWRP installed, but my recovery caused my phone to enter a boot loop state. I can't access the internal storage, and I don't have a micro-sd. What is the next step? I have Odin, but I don't understand what to do. As far as I know I need to boot an image file using the phone's download function?
I have these files on my desktop, but they aren't .tar:
CM11 For T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999 [Filename: cm-11-20131217-NIGHTLY-d2tmo.zip]
Google Apps [Filename: gapps-kk-20131119.zip]
So once I'm able to acccess my sd card I'll be a able to put those files back onto my SD and install those zips using TWRP?
I'm really out of my depth and am scared of hard bricking my phone, so please be kind!
Thanks in advance!

Don't panic! Does your phone enter Download mode and it's recognized by Odin? if so, flash the stock image via Odin, you can find the links here, read the second post on this link, it gives you detailed instructions how to flash via Odin
Make sure you're choosing the correct model, otherwise you will brick your phone!
I flashed the .tar file for the 4.1.2 JB, let Odin finishes, after that your device will be restarted, let it there for about 5-10 minutes, if it doesn't get past the samsung screen, enter to the stock recovery (vol up + menu +power), and do a factory reset, after that restart, and you should be good to go.
Hope this helps, best of luck!

(Q) Which Recovery?

Hi Guys,
I wanted to install TouchWiz Rom on my i9082 but its mentioned in the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2698242
to use a specific recovery. Now how can I know if i have the same recover or a different one. I dont remember which recovery I flashed some time back
I also wanted to ask that when I unmounts my memory card or removes it my phone stops booting in recover mode whats the reason for this, is it normal or I have flashed it wrongly. Because of this issue I was unable to use my backup which I took before flashing touchwix rom 2,
Can someone help me with these issues.
Thanks

Try hitting Vol UP+Home+Power Button after shutting down...
You can get into recovery mode ..whatever recovery is installed in your phone shows up.
If you installed custom recoveries it might show a title at the top..
Hope this helps to find what recovery you are using!!
Press Thanks if helped.

[Q] help me plzz cannot control me note 2 anymore

hi everyone
i flashed a new rom using twrp but when boot it stucks on samsung logo then i format data and do full wipe and data reset
the phone now is without any os and i cant use odin cause it doesnt recognize my phone and i cant do mount usb in twrp
plzzz help me with any solution that can help
You need download mode for odin though..
And .. Try AOSP ROMs like CyanogenMod .. Maybe they would work.
And if you don't have any ROM file on your phone, you would need a memory stick to transfer from your PC..
