HELP!! Deleted OS - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

No post have help me on this matter. I deleted the os using twrp (not on purpose of course) and I cannot flash the stock rom back onto the phone because Odin nor my computer will recognize my phone not even as a mtp device. I can't get past the Samsung galaxy s iii screen. I can get into recovery and download mode but that's it nothing else. I seriously need help!! I have to save my phone :crying:

get yourself a micro sd card and download a compatible ROM. you can mount the external sd in twrp, flash the ROM, wipe data/cache reboot.

Can't boot into phone, seems no way to recover.

Hello I recently messed up my phone trying to get a custom rom onto my phone. (It is a l710 model)
I can boot into Clockwork Recovery and ODIN just fine, but I phone won't start up.
I used GS3 toolkit to root phone and it all worked fine, but then used clockwork to install custom rom.
I want to recover my phone but the only rom on the internal SD is the one that doesn't work.
I have a Nandroid backup I made using the galaxy s3 toolkit, its on the computer and sd card.
However I cannot restore using toolkit since it just waits for the phone to be on and in usb debugging mode to continue
Recovery says "Couldn't open directory" "No files found" when trying to restore backup.
I would try puting another rom on an sd card but it only browses internal storage (internal sd).
I went to mount external sd but didnt seem to help
Not sure if ODIN can do anything...
Don't know what else to try

I tried that but my phone just flashes samsung then the samsung galaxy s III and then turns off (or at least it appears to be off).
Is there a way to restore Nandroid backups with odin?

You can get adb/the toolkit to see the phone. Go into the device manager while your phone is plugged in and booted to recovery. You should see a device with a ! next to it should be your phone. If you manually install the driver the toolkit will see it. Have the toolkin boot you into download mode. If you have recovery Odin mode should be okay, u sure ur holdin "vol down, home, pwr"?
Thanks for your time.
I managed to get it working.
What I did was
1. using odin, reflash the insecure boot thing.
2. reinstall the rom through recovery
3. factory reset
and then is wasnt stuck in a boot loop anymore
after that I could access internal storeage sd.
I had this same issue. After using ODIN Rom would hang on boot animation. Would never boot all the way and I gave it close to 45 minutes. I also found the only way to resolve this issue was doing a factory reset after flashing through ODIN. Im using Vzw model so I guess it is happening cross platforms.

[Q] Help it's stucked on the samsung logo

Hey, i am kinda new to android. I first had a Samsung galaxy s, and there i had no problems flashing roms. Then i would try the Omega rom on my Note 2, and started following the instructions. I flashed the rom, but nothing happened, i was still on android 4.1.1, and it was still stock samsung rom. But then my phone started acting weird, and it became very slow, and when i put it in sleep i couldt wake it up again. Then i thought i just could flash the stock samsung rom, and it would be normal again. So i flashed the 4.1.2 from France, but i still had the same problems. So now i tried the 4.1.1 Germany, but now im just stuck at the samsung logo. I can still get it in recovery and download mode. Please help me :crying:
And sorry for my english, i know it isn't the best

Read and follow each instruction to the word and everything will be alright.
1.Download a ROM. I suggest Omega . Link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1915036
2. Take out ext sd card from phone and connect to pc via card reader and transfer the downloaded rom .zip file to the card .
3.Put the card in the phone.
4.Assuming the phone is switched off, press down volume + home button+ power button(in the same order) . Keep holding it till you get Samsung logo and get into recovery mode(I hope you have clockwork mod recovery)
5.choose install zip from sdcard> choose zip from external sdcard and then select the ROM .zip file and flash it.
6.The rest should be self explanatory. Do backup your efs when the installer asks to do so. When the rom is installed , reboot and then wait. The first boot takes time. At the most 15 minutes or so.
7. Enjoy
Good luck friend.

P.S. Do hit the thanx button if you find my post helpful
Before starting to install
Clear in the order-
Data
Cache
Dalvik cache
Factory reset
System
Sdcard.
This will delete the minuteset piece of rom and data from your device.

I can start my phone now, but there doens't pop this box up where i can choose to put things on the internal storage. Is there a way to manual putting it in to media transfer mode or what you can call it?

[Q] Phone stuck in boot loop, not recognized by Odin

Earlier I reflashed back to the stock rom for my Galaxy S III, and after I flashed a new install of cyanogen mod I can't get my phone out of the boot loop. I can still access download mode but Odin and my computer won't pick up on it, and I can still access Clockword Mod. Is there anything to do or am I out of luck because my computer doesnt recognize my phone
Do you have an ext SD card ? Place a ROM on the ext card.
Did you wipe cache in stock recovery after flashing back to stock ?

Try this, usually in a case like yours there is at least a 50% success rate.
Reboot the phone into recovery and do a "Factory Reset".
After doing that reboot the phone and see if it boots completely.
If the phone boots up completely, you will also be able to go into download mode.
You may want to shell out less than $5.00 including shipping for a USB JIG on eBay or other places.
With a JIG all you do is turn the phone off or remove your battery, wait 20 seconds - replace battery and plug the little JIG into the usb of the
phone then wait a 2-3 seconds more or less and like magic you will be in download mode ready to Odin flash(tar) a proper Touchwiz Jellybean
I747 4.1.2 stock rooted rom which are very much un-like all these CM10/AOSP/AOKP roms which are all just experimental.
Once you have flashed the stock rooted jellybean 4.1.2 TAR rom you will be able to flash any custom Touchwiz Jellybean
custom rom of your choice unless you still want to go ahead and flash another experimental CM/AOKP/ASOP rom.
Good luck!
Not to nit pick, but the latest stock Jelly Bean for the I747 is 4.1.1, not 4.1.2. Also, most of the stock rooted roms don't include custom recovery. They usually include the stock 3e recovery. To get a custom recovery, just dl Rom manager for cwm, or goo manager for twrp, and they can install a recovery for you that will have you ready to flash.
Which version of stock did you flash?

What bootloader and modem are currently on your phone?
What ROM were you on and what were you flashing when the troubles started?
Since you can get into download mode, can you get into Recovery Mode? If you can, try putting CM11 on a MicroSd card and flash it from CWM.

My sgs2 is stuck in a boot loop, computers won't recognize the usb connection, and my sd card won't mount on philz touch 5 V6.0.3.7 My SD card is, however, recognizable if I plug it directly to my computer using an adapter.
so I rooted my phone using CWM. After that, my computer stopped recognizing my phone. I tried everything to fix it including factory resetting my phone, formatting cache, data, system, and sd card all under the CWM boot menu (hold volup+home+power). Soon afterwards, my phone got stuck in a boot loop. On startup, it hangs on the white "Samsung" logo. While trying to fix the issue, I noticed that my sd card won't mount.
I've tried this method, but it requires that I either have usb access or access to my phone. I've tried formatting the SD card in my computer. I've tried using different computers. I've tried using different usb cords. I've tried searching Google and these forums for a solution. i have uninstalled the samsung drivers countless times and rebooted with no success.
I need to figure out a way to flash the stock rom back to my phone. In order to do this, I need to get my usb to recognize or manage to have phil touch 5 v 6.0.3.7 mount the sd card. If I can do this, the rest is easy. Does anyone has any ideas on what can be done? please please assist!

Recovery Help!

I recently tried flashing TWRP on my S3 and now getting stuck at boot. I can't even get to stock recovery to factory reset because the usb port on the phone does not work at all. Is there any kind of script or anything I can place on an external SD that would run at boot to get the phone back to stock recovery or anything?
Did the USB port work before trying to flash twrp?
No it did not. Sorry for the late reply
The phone won't enter TWRP or stock recovery? Without a working USB port, I know of no way to get stock recovery onto the phone other than possibly using flashify, rom manager, or some other program that can flash a recovery from the ROM.
No TWRP or stock recovery unfortunately. It powers up to the "Galaxy S3" screen and gets stuck like an old Honda on a deep muddy road. Won't boot past there. Wondering if there's any type of script or something I could put on an external sd card that tells the phone to boot from external and restore back to stock or flash a kernel or anything.

There were debrick images that allowed the phone to boot from an external SD card but a Odin was still needed to flash a stock ROM.
Any chance the images still exist anywhere?

Started boot loop after instilling xposed

I was trying to instill xposed so I could fix my sd card for twrp. I'm running the stock rom 5.1. Now I'm at a lose the phone won't stop boot loading. I can't put anything on the sd card cause twrp won't see it. If I go into recovery and hook it to the computer. The computer won't see the phone? I thought about just reloading the rom through obin, but will I brick the phone in the process? I have already rooted and unlocked the bootload. Pleaae help thank you

I'd boot into recovery and wipe all applicable (Dalvik,Art Cache, system, data , cache, and storage) twice to rule out any further corruption then reboot into DL mode and Odin back to stock . if u have no way to push a zip to the phone I don't see what other option you have and no you won't brick with Odin as long as your flashing stock Samsung firmware
