I have a port of the D855 10n ROM flahsed to my D850 AT&T g3. On the stock AT&T version, the new google news and weather app works fine, but on the int'l rom it is not working. It will install fine, but on first run it will tell my the device is not yet compatible with the app.
So, I figured "Hey, build.prop issue. Easy.."
I swapped out the build.id, fingerprint, and all other relative info in buid.prop from D855 to D850, wiped and rebooted. Nothing. Tried a fresh install with changes incorporated. Still nothing.
So now here I am. A little perplexed. Can anyone shed some insight?
I guess my first question should be: Does Google News and Weather work on native D855 phones?

did you tried already to replace at&t apks into d855 rom? it seems that those apps are related to a regional problem... d855 is mostly european ^^ while at&t doesn't.. so i think it's for that

so I want know how many guys are using LG G4 Dual SIM model, like H818, H818N and H819.
I didn't find any open source for LG G4 Dual SIM models until now， I want to try but the number of LG G4 dual SIM model user is very import.
so I want to know that to decide whether to develop it. I need your voice and support thank you for everybody.
I almost bought it (H818) today, but I didn't becouse I need LTE B4. Is there any way to enable this band? If it would be possible, I'd love CM!!!

818p here and would love to switch to CM/aosp, that's how it was on my g2 and would love to keep it so on the g4 (dont have anything against factory rom but i personaly prefer the Google experience) even if it means no perfect factory cam software...

I think we will need unlocked bootloader first.. will be great for flashing custom mods to enjoy the modified stock
I am very pleased with the stock LG experience. However, I am missing the systemui and Caller UI from the vanilla Android
and the most important CM support for me is after discontinuation of LG support/updates for the device

I have a Korean LG G8 engineering model with IMPL= 0 which allows me to flash different variant G8 firmwares.
I am trying to get the Korean LG g8 triple camera on other firmwares. I can use other firmwares but only uses 2 camera sensors and I like the LG camera software.
I've flashed the Amazon and T-Mobile firmware and worked great. I tried replacing the lg camera software, changed build.prop camera config lines and libs from Korean firmware to T-Mobile firmware. It worked but still only used 2 sensors.
I'm will to supply files if anyone can figure it out please.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
