Hi Nxkealen,
Why Do You Want To Downgrade ? Is There Any Specific Reason ?
Android 9 PIE Is Stable With New Look. There Are Many New Features/Improvements Like (Good Battery Performance , Digital WellBeing, ETC)
In Addition To That, I Read That, Downgrade Will Not A Easy Task. Someone Was Complaining That SIMS Issue ETC...
If You Still Want To Downgrade Your Phone Do Please Consider The Following Links.

Hi all!
Maybe it's a silly question or it has been answered somewhere else.
I upgraded my phone to Android 8.0 and I'm experiencing the same issues a lot of other users mentioned (zero RAM available, random app reboots, 10 seconds to open an app, and random reboots).
I was thinking to install Lineage OS but I don't know if it's possible, considering that it's based on Android Nougat and with Oreo I guess the radio, bootloader and other stuff have been upgraded too.
Is it safe to do? Can I downgrade it to Nougat or Lineage?
Thanks a lot!
Nico
I tried it a few days ago... Didn't work
First I had to install stock Nougat then install LOS

None... Just download the Stock ROM from here: https://developers.google.com/android/ota
and install using the instructions provided
then install the LOS :good:
I think the factory image would be more appropriate. Full, clean flash.
Btw, if you're experiencing issues with 8.0.0, just perform a clean install of the Oreo factory image(or at the very least a factory reset after the update).

Do not do this, because if you do, you will probably make your device unusable. Read this before: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/help/help-mi-max-3-hard-bricked-anti-roll-t3834769 and mostly this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/how-to/anti-rollback-activated-mi-max-3-t3830448

It is possible to go to 10.0.1.0 Global Oreo or Even 8.11.23 beta Oreo, etc.
You need to unlock bootloader first and then have some flash the firmware by remote EDL. Meaning you have to pay money for that service.
The only Oreo version you cannot go back to is 9.6.6.0, its just not possible because the ARB number is not 4.

This version of Miui does not, because the ARB is active. If you try, you'll probably have a lot of work to do to fix it. Have you tried any rom xiaomi.eu or any GSI? Overall, they are better than the global stock.
hi everybody i recently purchased this g710em and out of the box i found the pie update so i did install it right away but i am very disappointed coming from an xz2 which was very snappy like realy snappy compared to the g7 and i didn't try oreo yet my request for you guys eas if u any one can hzlo or share his experience:
_can i downgrade to oreo.
-(if yes) is oreo better than pie.
-what is the latest oreo firmware or the most accomplished one.
i really like the audio capabilities and the build quality of the g7 but i cant keep it withe this kind major problem wich lag in the very basic ui. thank you. very much in advance.
If it is rootable then proceed to root and use a non stock rom that is oreo based.
Unless someone has made a stock backup you can restore via twrp.
i did downgraded with lgup to the g710em10s everything seem fine sim card speed no stuttering anymore even while installing 170 app from playstore ram management now i have 1.1 gb free ram while in pie i had only 400mb or 500 mb switching between apps via recent button seem snappier i let guys now about the sot battery.
Can you provide some more details about the procedure. I am complete newbie and couldnt figure out.
Not running pie makes u exposed to som nasty explots.
But a aosp shuld be faster even android 10

Hello, am new to pixel device... My previous device was Xiaomi Mi 11 , my device carne with A13 !my question is there any way to downgrade to A12 I want to flash derfest A12 my fav ROM .. thx in advance
Hello, welcome to Pixel land.
First, in order to flash a factory image, you'd have to unlock your bootloader. If you don't know already, click the yellow How To Guide quick filter at the top of the list of threads in this section and you'll find 3-4 threads that tell how. I also have a link in my signature below - you can use the link for the Pixel 7 Pro - the instructions to unlock the bootloader are the same, and the OP of my Pixel 7 Pro thread is much better organized than my one for the Pixel 6 Pro, in my opinion.
After that, the only way you can downgrade (and have everything working, and not brick your phone is to use one of the two Android 12 Developer Support images for Pixel. There's an Android 12.0 build from February and an Android 12.1 build from July. They will never receive updates, however.
You can always manually flash a Pixel 6 Pro stable Factory Image to re-upgrade at a later date, or use the Official Google Android Flash Tool (OEM Unlocking needs to be toggled on - you may not have to manually unlock the bootloader - the "site" will do that on its own) to re-upgrade.
Any of the stable Android 12 builds at that factory image link should not be flashed because the Android 13 bootloader cannot be downgraded to an Android 12 bootloader, and if you flash everything from 12 Stable but the bootloader, it'll appear to work at first, but it truly won't work correctly - it will not be useable.
If you unlock the bootloader, you should also make sure the Android 13 bootloader is flashed to your inactive slot as well, to avoid the possibility of accidentally bricking your new phone.
Thanks for the fast reply sir much appreciated .. I got the idea ... My device stock unlocked and rooted .. now my question is if I flashed the July A12.1 developer ... Can I flash custom ROM based on A12.1 like derpfest etc ... Sorry I mixed up things here little harder than xiaomi

You're welcome. I don't fool around with custom ROMs except on my 6-year-old or more phones, so I can't answer that question. Part of the best things about having Pixels is the software features Google starts off exclusively on the Pixel stock ROMs.
Hi guys!
Just today, I updated my 7T [EU model] to the new, stable version of OxygenOS running on Android 12. However, I quickly realized that I much more prefer the old stable OxygenOS 11. Is there a way to downgrade to that version? I've tried scouting online, however, I only found downgrade links to Indian models.
Thanks very much!
Hi my friend!
Just check the official Oneplus forum (oneplus.net). There is a post OxygenOS 12 MP2 for Oneplus 7T/7TPRO that is pinned. There is a download link for all versions. Note that your cell phone will be erased!

Thanks a lot, worked 100%
I just upgraded from 11 to 12, and i loose my connection every hour. Only thing that can bring back my signal is switch the phone into flightmode and back.
So will revert back to 11 as you did.
One questoin did the roll back wipe the phone or was apps and other settings still on the phone?

Is it possible to keep root through the rollback if I patch the boot image with Magisk before rebooting?
Edit: Just downgraded and had to root again after the downgrade (patched boot.img)
I am in the same situation. Upgraded to Android 12 and I'm having so many problems. I too am now downgrading. And actually moving away from OnePlus. Too many problems. Gonna try Carl's Nothing phone.
Hey there, Is it the original thread on offi OP site is not available anymore.
