Hi
I started to encrypt my mi6 6 hours ago but now it is stucked on a black screen which shows "encrypting, don't reboot your device". Encrypting should lasts a couple of hours generelly and i had a lot of free space and no huge file. What should i do? If i reboot manually i will certainly lose all my data.
I had miui 9 eu weekly 7.11.16 with Magisk and twrp 3.1.1.
Has anyone of you succefully encrypt his device?
Hi,
Unfortunately it appears that there is no way to recover at this point.
Check my thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-6/help/miui-9-encryption-t3710299
Hello everyone, I have been delighted for a year and a half with this mobile, with the weekly EU, without problems. When changing ROM to install Pixel Experience, I made a full backup, including recovery and all options. He had to give some error that I did not see in the command line, and when I tried to restore it, it was hung in the process of restoring, and I had to restart it, after waiting a few hours. Then I start the TWRP and I have tried to install several roms, it installs them and when I restart in the first boot process of the rom, it goes off, my logo appears, the unlocked one, and in the pixel I get to boot to get an account Google, but it turns up. I've tried several Roms, doing the 4 wipes, and format data, but I can't get through the boot. Get into fastboot without problem. Please, help or idea could be useful to revive this magnificent mobile. thanks. I can't find Chinese rom to flash for flashtools, only India, and I don't dare, since the cell phone came from China with Chinese and English rom. Thanks.

Thanks, I will try to flash the ROM. I cannot activate USB debugging because I cannot start the mobile. I have the bootloader unlocked. By what method can I flash the ROM without problem?
Boot to fastboot and flash with miflash. You have unlocked bootloader so the shouldn't be a problem. U can find a guide on the internet on how to flash with this method. In miflash choose the option to flash, not flash and lock. Lock option locks your bootloader.
My Flash does not recognize my mobile, and I cannot flash, the error seems to be in system, it gives a message as if it were busy, it does not allow to restore and it cannot be cleaned or mounted. Does anyone know how to repair Sysytem from TWRP?
Maybe something is wrong with xiaomi.eu zip. Have your checked md5?

Hello again, I'm still fighting on the mobile phone. With Xiaomi Mi Flash, I have managed to install the Chinese developer Rom, and the stable Rom takes a long time in the process, it stops and repeats when you install the System, which is what is damaged, but it finishes the installation correctly. When you start, the phone turns off and on continuously, the phone turns on and I can start the applications, but every 40 seconds or so it turns off again. I think there is an error in System that prevents it from being completely erased. What I can do?

So I got this phone with a miui 12.5, it freezes all the time and I can't connect wifi, it just crashes when I try to. I tought of flashing a miui 11 ROM on it but I can't do it since my bootloader is locked, and I can't use miflash because I can't access the internet from the phone to put any kind of account on it. what options do I have? Is this phone lost forever? Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure, but possibly flashing in BROM could work.
However I was unaware this phone has a MIUI 11 firmware.
Booting TWRP from fastboot was giving error so i flashed the stock recovery but now files show encrypted. I dont want to lose them what could i do??
I dont know why they are encrypted as i have read about dm verity, forceencrypt, vbmeta, android 11.. im clueless yet. I have seen a video of someone fixing the problem of encrypted files showing on different model and custom ROM but i dont know whether its the same scenario (i have stock MIUI 12 and cannot boot into it) . Worth to mention i didnt disable the unlock pin before flashing (also tried re-flash other recoveries but none asks pin).
Hi!
does anyone else have this problem?
After moving from Miui 13 to 14, from time to time (at least 3x throughout the day), the smartphone keeps locking and unlocking the screen automatically, and I can only solve it by restarting the device.
Before I didn't need to restart the device for weeks...
Thanks a lot. =)
Locked or unlocked bootloader?
is recommended after a firmware upgrade to hard reset the device to avoid that kind of bugs
Ditto, backup all your stuff before doing so...
maybe the power button is broken
I always suggest not doing a upgrade but a clean instal , via recovery twrp , but if you did do just the OTA upgrade then I would suggest in a factory reset in any major update GL
