[LOLLIPOP][NO XPOSED][Z1 & Z1C] Ported 4K & Timeshift video from Xperia Z3

I finally made!!!!
i'm here to tell you how to obtain 4K & Timeshift video without Xposed Framework and put to work on our awesome Xperia Z1/Z1C
After a lot of experimentation i finally got it!!!!
Remenber that all others mods published here, this one has a speciel requests to be made:
I don't take responsability for any tipe of damage that you can cause to your phone using this mod.
This mod was tested only in a Xperia Z1 (6903 and 6943) and a Xperia Z1C, so I don't know if it'll work in other devices;
it's not necessary to de-odex your rom, BUT you really need to be in a stock rooted one.
This mod works with Xposed Framework, but don't needed, so if you don't like Xposed (like me!) don't worry, it'll work without to.
Said all that...
Let's go:
METHOD 1
Thanks to @iedafarha that made a flashable zip...
just reboot into recovery mode and flash the 4K_lp_FLASHABLE.zip.
reboot and Enjoy!
if, JUST IF, method 1 doesn't work for you, always has a plan B
PLAN B:
1º - Download and unpack the 4K_lp.zip, after that copy to your SD CARD.
2º - Reboot into Recovery and make a nandroid backup;
Reboot your Z1.
3º - Now using a file explorer (I always use Root Explorer) copy the content of the unpacked zip in your respective folders.
IMPORTANT: remember that in LOLLIPOP the folder has a 0755 permission and all the files has the same 0644.
to make easy change permission, put the file explorer to show by date.
Done that, just reboot your phone and enjoy!!!
:good: Ps: After some users made a lot of tests, I have the pleasure to announce that this mod corrects the 60fps bug on the Z1C :good:

Thanks to david azzz for his hard work to enable a 80 bitrate and 1080 60fps!!!
Let's go to how to do....
It's a bit tricky to install if you do not know how to insert file to system.
Back up your rom before trying the process
Important:
- You will need Lucky Patcher
To do:
1st Part (Lucky Patcher):
1º - Toolbox;
2º - patch to android;
3º - disable .apk signature verification;
4º - reboot;
5º - disable signature verification in the package manager;
6º - reboot;
2nd Part:
1º- app;
2º - all;
3º - Camera -> clear data;
4º - Video -> clear data;
Now on the system/pri-app delete this 2 folders:
SemcCameraUI
SuperVideoCamera
Reboot to recovery (TWRP)
1º - Wipe Cashe and Dalvik
After in Lucky Patcher
1º - Rebuild a install;
2º - install the 2 apk that david azzz put in the zip
3º replace the 3 xml either in the system/etc/

BUG REPORT
- Some Z1c users have reported that Sphere 360º isn't working;
- The SteadShot isn't working on 4K recording;

Tested in Z1C and it's working great so far! I will check if 60fps recording is working.
EDIT. [email protected] is working after flash this mod

Uhm we have this already on our Z2 with Lollipop, so what is the difference ?

If you talk about the photo sphere 360º that has in nexus, you should install the google camera and galery for that!

Hey dude, u again copied my one i have already posted pixel ui for cm 13 and cm 14 users
and that includes bootanimation of pixel and if u say that this is for touchwiz users u are wrong this type of boot animation file is not compatible with TW devices
TW Devices need .qmg files and this is just a zip

I have Qmg file but i have in MY pc.i will upload tomorrow.

Same it doesnt work for me too so I created my own I set permission as u said nothing worked. Maybe there is some problem I guess.

Xperia XZ or XZs forums and now i post a small mod
for you all XZP users called Font selector with several fonts like:

I figured out howto get this working on Oreo.

It must be there in settings/display kinda down below otherwise the services.jar is not correct patched, use then the services.jar from my RXS bro @Beetle84 his thread.

I use older twrp 3.1 and my bro @Beetle84 confirmed thay this is working fine so i dunno what you do wrong buddy and i test this also and works also and i do always several tests before release

Have you downloaded smali patcher and ran it on your pc? The services.jar I posted needs to be ran through smali patcher.

Xperia 1 Boot Animation

Just extracted this from Xperia 1 firmware.
All credits to Sony.
Copy to oem/media and give r-w-r-r permissions, reboot, profit!

Wonderful!! Working perfect on my XZ2

Magisk module and 720p Magisk module of Xperia 1 Boot Animation
@Beetle84: Thanks a lot for sharing this lovely new bootanimation!
For easier installation, I made a Magisk module of the bootanimation in its original (1096p) resolution.
For users with smaller screens, I made a 720p version of the bootanimation and also put it into a Magisk module. I tested this version on my Z3c.
Enjoy!
Edit: Also added 20 fps versions of the original and the 720p bootanimation.

Reduced fps from 30 to 20, doesn't seem so rushy now, thanks to @theflanker for the idea and @niaboc79 for the method

No idea if it's so speedy on Xperia 1, anyways, find below the same 20 fps boot animation as before but with the Powered by Android part removed, so we get the xperia animation for a second or two longer

I can access my boot animation zip on my XZ2 Pie using Solid File Manager. I can even change the permissions and delete the stock file. I just dont want to replace it with the one for the Xperia 1 and in so doing,brick my device. I asked @nreuge because he also has an Xperia XZ2 and trust his advice.

Here you can see that i have access and my device is not rooted.

I'm surprised that you can access this path without root.
My XZ2 is rooted, so unfortunately I cannot know what it'll happen on an unrooted device. Sorry...

Why 644 permissions?
I am wondering why the boot animation needs a write permission from root? Kind of strange for a series of files that are simply read and displayed. Can anyone clarify? NM, I know why.

Correct but will be updated shortly, to busy with work and mine is for no treble devices and treble devices and this not so how you know if it works and add other apps ? Then is yours the same as me like now and mine was earlier here like in Feb then this what is yet posted in 12 hours ago.

I just couldn't do the test on my XZ1 because I was too busy at work. And I developed it to work regardless of whether it is Treble or not.

I studied in the same way as reverse engineering, learned how your Zip worked for the test and made it by myself, but I think I uploaded the file that I used to study to the Google drive by mistake. :crying:
When I get home, I will upload it again, and the study file is not allowed to be accessed at the moment.

I uploaded it again and proved that it has nothing to do with what you have developed.
And the apps' sources are the APK mirrors and files from the extracted APK and genuine Xperia1 that they received from Japanese acquaintances. Wouldn't it be a little harsh to deal with a Newbie developer for a wrong upload?

The Google drive link will function again

And the apps' sources are the APK mirrors and files from the extracted APK and genuine Xperia1 that they received from Japanese acquaintances. Wouldn't it be a little harsh to deal with a Newbie developer for a wrong upload?

You told me in a pm that you use my zip as a base and i can post the screenshot if you want ? but the rules around here on xda is to ask 1st before even post it, i just remind you todo that next time so nothing harsh about that.

When I test with your Zip base, I test it just to see if can add an app file and now it is not based on yours as shown in Op.
